"As a frag these are extremely effective and reliable. I have used three shells so far and all went spliting down the white line in on the shell. These are extremely loud and have a 3 to 4 second timer on them with both timing washers and a 2 second timer with only one timing washer. I recommend wearing hearing protection when these are in use because they will leave your ears ringing. I have had 100 precent reliability with these so far and already got my money's worth aster I scored a 15 man kill with one grenade (the rules at my cqb field use a room clearing effect based on sound but the bbs hit most of the occupants of the room too). When one of these land near someones feet they have no time to escape the instant they see it explodes.
The only downside is that the threads split (the white weak part on the shell extends along the threads too) every time as when the grenade burst making removal a pain as the shell is mostly a mangled mess afterwards too.

"These are now the best and cheapest funtional frag grenades available in airsoft.
I was not optimistic about them actually shooting the bb's out.
Tested 2 shells. Keep in mind my cores have a hole drilled in it to blow earlier.
Filled one completely with bb's 200-300
I pull the pin and throw them while still holding the spoon. This blew up almost instantly about 2' from my hand and never reached the floor. Bb's went everywhere, none were left in the grenade
Second one i filled 1/2 way 100-150 bb's
This one made it to the floor and blew in 3sec.
Bb's flew everywhere and none remained in the shell.

"4/5 for me!
Pros:
-The core system, the spoon/pin/hammer mechanism, and the shell concept are all fantastic.
- BB spread and concussion sound is fantastic in-game. Feels safe that there is no flammable component. The plastic shell breaks along the seam consistently and does not splinter into plastic shards.
- Extremely loud when they detonate.
-They are pretty easy to reload quickly in between rounds.
-They look incredible too.
Cons:
- Passively noisy when carrying due to loose BBs in the shell, it sounds like you have a cheap high-cap mag on you.
- Mine detonate VERY quickly, even when I only fill the bottom 1/5 of the shell with BBs. Most of the time I'm throwing it around 10-15 feet and the grenade detonates when it hits the ground or just beforehand, it feels like less than 2 seconds but I haven't measured it.
Upon further research, the shells seem to a rebrand of the tripwire variants that are sold for these cores, which explains the fast detonation time. I would appreciate a higher air volume or thicker shell that holds the pressure for another 1.5-2 seconds before detonating.

"Bought 12 shells with 1 core, not sure if it was the Co2 I was using or what but there is absolutely no time before they go off. Anytime I’ve used these they blow in mid air before reaching my desired destination. I used a zip tie around the ribbed part and that helps with having a longer timer, but then the bbs don’t really come out too well and I currently have the top threads of the shell stuck in the core and I can’t get it out. I’d say these are definitely more for indoor use. They are very easy and fun to use, also very inexpensive. When using outdoors it is very easy to lose these so watch where you throw them, maybe use some bright spray paint or a little duct tape on the shell and core as sometimes the core can blow off in a different direction.
Pros:
easy to use
fun to use
Indoor use mostly
Inexpensive
Extremely loud
Cons:
Bbs don’t go very far
Short fuse/time (less than 2 seconds w/o zip tie, maybe 3 w/)
Overall 4 stars because of the short timer and bbs not going very far.

"These grenades are epic they let everyone know they're hit. Great against cheaters and campers who stay hiding behind the same tree or house all match. This mimics the real thing that they used in Vietnam, the explosion is terrific and the blast radius is impressive. Besides this thing scares the enemy to the point where they all walk off the field saying there hit, even though no one has fired at them yet. Overall this thing is a total game changer and makes the hobbie of airsoft something you want to do day and night. My final conclusion is that these grenades are a 8/10. (they are reusable except for the core which makes them a constant investment which is why they aren't perfect) other than that you cant ask for more for the price. The pros are the blast radius is great, number of bbs is amazing, the noise is deafining, and finally the simplicity is remarkable. The only CONS are that the large amount of Co2 you will use if your not careful (one 12gram cartridge per blast .50-.75)and the non reusability of the shells which forces you to constantly spend more.(sales) it is worth buying for any large event.

"They are great for fields that don't allow pyro grenades and are loud enough to get the job done. But if you are wanting to fill these with bbs and get the 10-15ft spread of more expensive and realistic airsoft grenades then you aren't going to be satisfied with these unfortunately. When I first tried them a few years ago I even bought some special .12 cheapie bbs to fill them with. Not only did they have next to no bb spread but a couple of the shells actually split so far into the plastic threads that it made the Thunder B cores unusable because I couldn't get the remaining plastic out of the Core's. So overall they are a good product as long as you are cool with not having the bb expelling feature.

"Ok, they go pop where they are supposed to. They advertise over 1 second to pop however, all the ones that I used with no powder and no BBs, they all go pop within 1 sec, and almost immediately after the spoon is released. 3 stars because they work and work well, but they work too fast.

"I was able to to use the entire package of Thunder Devils over the course of a few weeks. Sadly 4 our of 12 did not pop. This wasn't a core issue because I used different bodies and they all functioned fine. I think the premise of having a specific failure point is a cool idea, but in my experience I had too many duds to justify buying more. Maybe I just got some lemons.

"These shells burst almost instantly. better to use as tripwire shells.
