"This gbb is excellent. It surprised me when I first fired it because of the hard kick. It feels like shooting a real steel .22 handgun. My first concern though was that it might be inefficient but that doubt was quashed after being able to shoot through at least one entire mag without a gas fill even on a cold day. It feels sturdy but lightweight and seems like it could take abuse without being compromised internally or externally. All in all a great gbb. Use .25g pellets for the best accuracy.

"I've tried out this gun at the Evike Superstore, and purchased one and received it yesterday. I have not had the chance to shoot mine yet (I forgot to get green gas :/)
PROS:
Metal
FN Trademarks
Gas Efficiency (I live in New England and get 4 mags of bbs per fill)
Large, but comfortable grip
CONS:
The thread protector is glued to the barrel, so you cannot disassemble it without voiding the warranty (Not that you need the warranty, this thing is literally a brick) but it would've been nice if Evike had painted the threads, and included the orange protector, like on a CZ P-09 Suppressor Ready, which is also a good gun.
That's pretty much it, hope this is a helpful review, and I definitely recommend this to anybody who is a fan of FN Herstal, or is into using airsoft guns for video game style builds, Black Ops 2 Tac-45 baby (No I'm not a CODsofter, I just really like FN, lol)!

"Pros
FN Herstal trademarks
High rise sights for a better sight picture of you're utilizing a mock supressor
Ambidextrous slide release
Steel upper slide(or so it says)
45. ACP markings
Threaded barrel(duh)
Ambidextrous mag release
Feels lighter than it looks
Unique mag
Comes with extra different backstrap
A hidden rail in front of the rear sights that's covered by a tan piece that's screwed on
Cons
Expensive mags.....$40
Gas fill port is in a weird place, behind the mag
A thread cap seems to be glued on the threads
(Nothing to do with the pistol, but I ordered this gun very early Thursday morning with 2 day shipping and still came on Monday.....come on Evike)
I like pistols with some weight, it's actually pretty light but still an overall good, and modern pistol
It's worth the money

"This is a really good handgun, it has a really nice evenly distributed weight, the grip is nice it takes propane which is not listed but it does, just takes a lot about a 40 second fill will run a full mag which is kinda bad but it still performs like a $180 handgun should,
PROS:
Nice weight,
very ergonomic,
hard kick,
100% accurate Trades,
ambidextrous,
Interchangable grip inserts,
Filling with gas is very easy,
CONS:
Expensive,
Hard on gas,
Mags are hard to find (however not expensive)
Barrel threads are 16mm + (CW)
This gun is very nice definitely worth the unholy price so if your looking for something good that'll definitely last get it!

"I bought this gun as a christmas present and off the bat I noticed that the gun is much much larger than expected. It's about as thicc as any other pistol on this sight. The gun comes and is a full on oil factory. Even the outside of the slide and frame has oil on it. I put some upgraded parts in it and used atleast 15 paper towels to clean up the excess oil. I encountered some errors at the start. The gun would only fire 2 or 3 times on a full mag of propane and the mags leaked. The spring that connects the hopup unit and outer barrel broke very easily and is very weak. However, we figured out some of the problem. If you are using propane and the tank is old and low pressure, the mags will not fill properly but once I bought a new tank it worked great. If you plan to use this pistol in temperatures below 60 degrees, u need to buy a new fill valve O ring otherwise the mags will leak and freeze. The nozzle spring is not the greatest and I would recommend upgrading it. In total the gun shoots amazing and after a few changes is my favorite pistol.
Pros
-shoots great
-cycles well
-after a couple changes is my favorite pistol
-can mount rmr but needs some lighter upgraded parts first
Cons
- mags leak and freeze easily
- hopup spring is week
Other than a few thing this is the best airsoft pistol I've bought and is just awesome. Cant wait to play with it. However I have to give it 4 stars because the mags leak

"Pro:
Looks and feels almost identical to my real steel.
Manipulation is solid and very similar
Accepts vsr10/tm gbb buckings
Cons:
Hop up only pulls down on one side, would prefer it to pull down from both sides evenly.

"I've owned 2 of these over the course of 2 years and have thrown about as much punishment as one can at them and I must say I'm pretty pleased with this gun. I've put over 1500 rounds through it and it's still running very well. The build quality is superb, the recoil is super snappy, and the stock range and accuracy are pretty good. I know this gun inside and out and there are things I like and things That are quite disappointing. I've put suppressors (osprey) on them, I've put rmr clones, 6.01 barrels, aftermarket hop ups you name it. What other gas pistol (under $200) can you do all this with? There aren't many.
The good:
Stock range and accuracy is what you'd expect from a well built pistol. Pretty good, but not excellent. Drop in a compatible tightbore barrel and good hop up and you can make this much better. It may seem strange, but gas pistols really do like heavier bbs. With .28s I can get very accurate shots out to 150 ft and beyond. No joke. The magazines do hold a ton of gas but have issues (see below). I find that propane with a good lube makes for better functionality. The first round of this pistol was NOT fully ambidextrous, but the newer ones are, so southpaws can buy with confidence. There are also enough aftermarket parts to rebuild nearly everything inside this gun. Though some require some digging to locate. The threaded barrel is a nice touch. Be warned, adding a suppressor of any kind will cut the life of this pistol in half. Trust me, it's why I own 2. The added weight on the outer barrel will cause it to wear the slide down until the tolerances between parts are so worn out that it will hamper functionality. I get it, suppressors are sweet. Just know you're killing your gun when you use them.
The bad:
First off. It's a pretty finnicky gun. I've had bad results with green gas. It seems like the psi is just too low to keep a heavy slide cycling properly in the long run. I've found that the best environment to run this pistol in is hot, humid weather. Beastly performance. However, cooler temps, even under 60f and the gun starts to act up. Under 50f and I'd be surprised to get a single shot off. My KWA HK45 is definitely better as far as reliability goes. On the top of my gripe list is the magazines. I own 6, but only 5 work. Had to scrap a busted one to keep 2 going. Some fit very tight and have to be pushed out from the top of the gun while the slide is open. For whatever reason The gas chamber can be opened and there is a gasket that seals the cap onto the rest of the mag. This gasket can and will leak after awhile. Teflon tape will help this, but it is a pain. I've had two springs snap out of the magazine and need to be reset. This means taking off the aforementioned cap and risk having it leak when you re assemble it. Bummer. I have found that the black version of these mags haven't given me any of these problems yet. Hopefully these will be issues that are fixed as production continues.
Despite the bad, I really do love this gun. Becoming familiar with its operation and parts will help you keep this thing going in the long run. I wouldn't call it a beginners pistol. I'm a little disappointed in its overall efficiency and shelf life, but it's functionality and aggressive posture makes up for this in my mind. I am of the mind set that it makes more sense to stick with this gun because I already own so many magazines for it that buying a bunch more every time I buy a new pistol seems like wasted money. Which is why I'll be buying a third one when the time comes.

"Pros:
Great magazine, holds gas very well (About 2 mags worth). Also double stacking is extremely easy due to the design
Solid Aluminum slide
Fully ambidextrous
nice polymer lower
Very, very, reliable
Fully licensed and trademarked
Sounds so good, no flimsy clink clank sound like other guns (I'm talking to you WE) but sounds like solid metal making sweet sweet love.
Cons:
Sometimes slide automatically cocks forward (after the slide stays back when out of ammo) when putting the magazine back in. It's not as satisfying as manually releasing the slide, but it doesn't happen if you put the mag in with less force
Sights have little white hollow tubes instead of dots, supposedly fiber optics, they just look a little weird and are (to me) harder to see than standard white paint.
I couldn't manage to remove the inner barrel from the outer barrel, it doesn't even seem like it's supposed to be removed, which is odd, maybe mine is just a little bit weird.
Flashhider is so crazy tight on the outer barrel, I'm sure they've glued it on but even after boiling water and soaking the tip it would not budge

"I absolutely love this weapon. It's my favorite out of my 6 pistols! Except a few things. I've been running it for a few months now and I feel as if though it's been enough time for an accurate review.
Pro:
Incredibly accurate.
Heavy
Trades
Really good gas usage
Easy to handle
ambi everything!
Sights are beautiful
Hop up is solid
3 mags worth before I run out of gas
Con:
The follower in the mag snapped in half, horizontally (still works perfectly so no big deal
The fill valve is really narrow so some gas canisters won't work.
The thread protector on the barrel prevents 'complete' disassembly
The thread protector is practically impossible to get off. Biggest con ever.
All in all I would give it three stars. But it's just TOO good of a weapon. I love it to death!
All in all I really want

"I've had this gun for about 1 month .its a great gun.Full metal,Loud,Accurate,VERY EASY to take apart.so my only complaint (and why I rated it 4 stars ) is because my gas nozzle on the gun bulges out and I can't fix it for the life of me .anyways
PROS:
Full metal
loud
Accurate
Easy to clean and maintain
Easy to take apart.
CONS:
Broke (probably isn't broken ,ima see if someone can fix it for me)
They don't have spare mags for it but ya

"I had a disappointing experience with my fnx. The mag that came with the gun was sticky and the mag catch was far too wide and I had to file it down, even now it still gets stuck and I don't think it will ever freely drop out. The extra mag I bought for it does feed and fit perfectly though. Now the hop up return spring is broken and the gun is currently out of commission.
Pros.
-solid externals
-nice imposing frame and weight
-fun recoil
-decent performance when not broken.
Cons.
-hop up return spring is easily broken
-mag in box is lackluster
-thread protector is incredibly hard to remove (had to use a blowtorch and wrench)
As a side note. Don't buy the angel custom sentry ops . 45 supressor for it, it stripped my threads and I need to buy a new barell because of it.

"Out of the box, plastic is very high quality on par with Tokyo Marui GBBs, fit and finish is good, feel nice in the hand and controls are nice but safety is rough and sticky, difficult to use. Slide is very light but that's good for gas efficiency and longevity.
The double action trigger does not work, you have to rack the slide to actually cock the striker. The serial number plate on the bottom flew off the gun on the first shot.

"Short and sweet review:
A solid piece with almost no maintenance support whatsoever. Fires where you want, when you want, but god help you if you break anything.
Pros:
-Solid weight
-Reliable as heck
-Unique design, not many seen in field games
-Comfortable to hold and fire
-High-profile sights work great with most suppressors
Cons:
-Internal springs break easily. Like, you will learn to fear the number "FNX 02-7" when you buy this piece.
-Replacement parts are nearly impossible to obtain as nobody domestically (in the USA) sells replacements
-High-profile sights catch on just about everything (see Con #1: impossible to get replaced)
Overall a great gun, but I wish there was more aftermarket support for this piece.

"I really wanted to love this pistol, it feels amazing in the hands and has a very snappy strong recoil and has a very crisp loud noise when you shoot it. After getting it I ran into some issues, The hop up bucking got wrecked after puting 200 rounds through it, and the thread protector is a pain to get off so I am not able to fix it at the moment, just really frusterating, maybe I got a lemon idk
