"ive had the full sized version of this gun for a few years and used the hell out of it in both cqb and on my medium sized outdoor field here in santa paula ca. (Stryker airsoft ) and its been quit effective for a medium range shot gun with a decent range of about 100' with .20 BBs, but ive used as heavy as .25s in it and still had some good kills with it overall a good purchase for me . I play a lot of out door fields and my shot guns (I have several of different brands) always serve me well, this is a very comfortable gun to hold , both lite and maneuverable and not too hard to pump add a red dot to it and almost never misses , cheers.

"I got the compact black version. It is better quality than most spring pump action tri shots.
pros
grips have nice rubberized feel
light weight
comes with 2 iron sights, fiber optic and ones under the top rail (if you take the top rail off
feels solid
looks cool
comes with 2 shells and a speed loader
for those who dont know you get 10 pumps per shell and each time it shoots 3 bbs
you can pump it back then halfway forward then back and all the way forward to shoot 6 bbs at once
rubberized smooth butt pad
cons
spread is vertical like 1, can be fixed by turning or angling gun to the side to get a spread like 2 or 3
1 . 2 . 3 . . .

effective range is only like 60 ft with .20s
hard to pump for younger people
sling mounts are cheap and will break eventually
the stocks on the versions with them are very small, about the length of a hand (from fingers to wrist)

"Just received this shotty today, the reason I purchased it was from the reviews I have read. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is light weight but feeling of it is very durable. The grip and racking slide has a really great feel to it. The sling mounts are built in but wish they were a little more durable feeling. Came with 2 30rd shells, Unjamming rod, and fiber optic sights. Very cool. I'm happy that it came rather qjickly because this Sunday I'm taking it to my local CQB arena. So for right now this review is more of a first impression, By this monday (7/15/19) I will update with a review on how it shot.
SO FAR ITS DEFINITELY A GREAT LOOKING AND FEELING RIFLE. so as for the other reviews on how it shoots I know it will be a positive review.

"Beautiful gun, very nice construction. Lightweight but doesn't feel cheap at all, fair warning the spring is kinda stiff. Least on my model so you really gotta rack it back, front and rear sight have a very clear picture.

"I purchased my STF12 with a compact barrel and full stock based on looks alone, but the day I received it, I was amazed at the realism, weight ( Light but Solid ), accuracy ( 3 bb's in in a very tight group ) about 3" at 35-40' distance. Mine was eventually fitted with a "side-saddle" shell holder for that extra menacing look! If your into airsoft shotgunning, then this may be the one for you too! Evike has in stock different variances of this model also. Give this model a chance... You won't regret your purchase.

"For what you are paying for you are getting something well worth it. The range on this thing is great and your are shooting 3 bbs at a time. Not a lot of spread but you have some and that will make a different. Very fun to use.

"Just got it and it’s amazing it takes a little effort to pump but it shoots like a dream!

"Ordered to short barrel w/ stock model and out of the 4 Spring Shotgun brands I've purchased this is the king. AEG range and power, and I mean good AEG. Tough build with no creaks or wobble. Comfortable and extremely functional. I'll be ordering the stockless model as a sidearm for my AEG soon and my current one will see lots of primary use! Buy buy buy!

"Just got this beauty today for me and a friend, Got the short barrelled pistol grip model for CQB at my local field. It comes with an unjamming rod, speed reloader, 2 shells, a pack of 100 .2 g bbs, a pair of fiber optic sights, and the shotgun. It is a great airsoft gun with a decent fps (don't have a chrono), unique look (not a basic m870), rails on the top and bottom. The only downside is the pump is pretty hard to pull back for the first 20 pumps then loosens up. Overall 5/5 for the type and price, would highly recommend to any buyer looking for a spring shotgun.

"this was my very first airsoft gun i have watched airsoft vids since like 2010 just got into it tho and im really really surprised i was able to hit people out to 200 feet now at no point should u do that its a shotgun just run up to like 100 to 0 feet the gun is light like really light so i was able to run and flank with no problem

"I got the black pistol grip model.
Pros:
- Work great with a vertical grip
- Strong abs construction
- Pump action is solid
- The trapdoor, trigger, and guiding rod and tubes are metal
- Solid performance for being a short shot gun it has range around 150ft
Cons:
- The QD sights that it comes with are trash made out of the cheapest plastic I have see
(I just put some Magpul flip up sights and a T1 micro red dot on it instead)
Overall it is a great shotgun.

"It’s a great gun for the price. It is fun to shoot, accurate and a valued addition to my armory.
Like others have mentioned, I have gotten a few loose bb’s stuck in the gun (they are still in there at this very moment rattling around) and the plastic sling mount is useless…it broke very easily. I have a scabbard for it that I use now…problem solved. The pump action can be a little firm, but it’s not overly uncomfortable for me.
Overall it’s a good shooting gun that has had no major issues aside from the broken sling point. I still recommend.

"i can definitely back up the reviews saying this is well-built. It feels solid in the hand and pumping it is satisfying, though the spring is, as others say, pretty heavy.
However, i got the compact (non-stockless) version, but i haven't seen other reviews mention the length of pull on the stock. It's shorter than the stock on my JG M4 when that one is fully collapsed! Being about 5'11", this is way too short for me to use comfortably, unfortunately. i haven't had the time but i would like to get around to adding probably 3-4" to the stock, at which point i will have no issues with it.

"My new favorite gun! Well constructed and really light, she'll mags get stuck sometimes if you aren't confident in putting it in, cane with 2 shells but I bought 2 more which was a good call, so far I've only done backyard games and I've gotten a few kills at atleast 50 feet, I recommend!

"Pros-
tri-shock
shotguns are relatively unique
really fun if you can take the time to learn it
Cons-
if short-stroked, bbs can end up in the handguard (this can easily be fixed)
extremely tough stroke out of the box (and Im a strong guy), fixed with some silicone oil on the slots where it slides
the picatinny on the pump action can hurt your hands after awhile
