"So after around a 4 year break from airsoft, I decided to take a break from the sport. I picked up this gun to get back into it, as I've heard only good things about G&P. So after a few games with this thing, I can honestly say that this gun was so close. The body is solid, ROF and range are great right out of the box, and the rotary hop up makes dialing it in super easy. the QD system is a kinda cool gimic, it doesnt make much difference between the 8 and 12 inch barrels. It makes a solid platform. Now for the bad about this gun
1. The charging handle is absolute garbage, its a cheap plastic and the dust cover doesn't even function.
2. The I5 gearbox only accepts 11.1v LiPos, and the space for a battery in the buffer tube is terrible, went to a crane battery stock and it fixed my problem.
Overall, out of the box this gun is solid if you can deal with the aforementioned problems.

"Just got this gun after looking at the discounted price for quite some time. Gotta say was a little disappointed.
Most parts of the gun lived up to my expectation. However the charging handle is the worst I've ever seen on an airsoft rifle. It's the most plasticky of the plastic. The texture feels dirt cheep. The latch doesn't really work, therefore you can charge it by pulling anywhere on the handle. Also, there's a small but visible enough spring STICKING OUT between the latch and the handle bar. If you pull the latch for a few times, the spring will eventually stick out more, making you feel that it's broken or something.
I get that charging handle is not an important part and you don't need to manipulate it often for the gun to work, but this one is just too bad for me to recommend to anyone who looks at the details. It almost made me feel like I got a refurbished defective product.
Other parts of the gun is okay. Build quality is fine. QD front assembly becomes smoother if you break it in by reattaching a few times. Selector switch is plasticky and not tactile at all, so you'd better check with your eyes to make sure safety is on. Also lubricant or preservative seems to have had left a permanent wet mark around the selector area. The box it came with is sturdy though.
Pros:
- Sturdy. Metal parts are great quality
- Detachable front is great for carrying, fits common small backpack
- Ambidextrous mag release. They are sturdy as well
- Mags fits tightly and don't wobble. Tested with factory mag and Amoeba mags
Cons:
- Trashy charging handle
- Liquid left permanent wet mark on gun. Dunno if it is my individual case

"This gun is amazing I love the way it feels and that you are able to change out the whole rail and barrel assembly and just swap in another. However my moseft blew out after only 3 games of play. I have been told that that this particular part has had some issues and that you can only replace this mosfet with the same one that is in it.
Pros:
solid gun
fun to shoot
can quickly change out front rail and barrel for CQB
Cons:
mosfet blew out after only 3 games

"DO NOT BUY THIS GUN!!!!!!!!!! I had it for a week and played with it for four days and then everything stopped. we opened up and it had lit on fire and ran itself into the ground. Not high-quality internals.

"It just arrived in the mail and I was eager to unbox it, only to be disappointed. I thought $400 would be enough to ensure an airsoft gun of good quality. Many of the pieces are made of a poor quality plastic that has an odd glittery texture to them. My biggest problem is the fire selector, which is one of the many pieces made of this poor plastic material. Not only does the fire selector not *click* in place on each mode (making it loose, stubborn, and almost fragile) but it blocks the grip where your thumb should rest.
