"Probably one of the best values on the market. I have owned this gun for 8 years of heavy use and can say it is the single best performing gun that I have ever owned. I have had a variety of guns over the years and while many of them require tinkering to get to work right this one just needs a bit of wear. Out of the box it has a bit of an over hop problem, but once that bucking wears in expect near sniper level accuracy and range. The range is not that of an hpa rifle, but it is above average as far as aegs and tends to be very consistant. Now what stands out about this gun is its reliability. i have had this gun break once over the last 8 years 6 years after i bought it with heavy use. over the years like any gun you will notice that the spring will eventually wear down and over 8 years of use it has gone from 400 to around 320 and despite the drop in fps it still has about 90% of the original range and can still out range most guns on the field (however i can now use it at point blank range so i will not be replacing the spring). The only bad thing about this gun is the lack of a rail system and the 8.4v battery it comes with as it works best with a 9.6 (8.4v battery is to simulate the original guns rate of fire so highly recommend a 9.6). as far as this gun goes it just works well and i would highly recommend it.
tldr
pros:
1. good fps
2. excellent reliability (went 6 years with only needing to replace 1 part)
3. excellent accuracy
4. good quality parts
cons:
1. creaky plastic grip (stock and fore grip are fine)
2. no rails (it has good enough accuracy to be a good dmr)
3. too much hop-up out of the box (counteract with heavy bbs until it wears down)

"is a heavy gun but sturdy shoots good w/ .23g bbs battery is a pain to get out and magazine is a hi cap not a low cap like it says. I suggest getting a different battery it comes with sling maybe a speed reloader [mine didn't] mag and battery unjamming rod mag is some times hard to get out but get another mag w/ it easy to disassemble just need a straight screwdriver orange tip is hard to get of . the imitation wood is nice looking but dosent have good grip and it kinda wants to get away from you but not to badwish it wasent to long but for replica without orange tip coulda fooled me from a reel one it weighs about 8-10 pounds.

"I've gone to a few games with this gun. My only compliant was the screw to access the battery on the butt stock. Makes it a bit hard to access, since it uses a flat head. I ended up replacing it with a better one.
Shoots like a dream. Don't count on being pin point accuracy. It is a SMG after all. More of a point and pull type. But it's been a blast to use.

"Very powerful but not very good for aiming. The peep sight looks good but it's not very effective. I would use tracers to help with aiming. Also a hi-cap magazine holds a varied amount of pellets. Everything else about the gun is great and it is extremely durable. Out of all my time using it I only had one jam, which was caused by a stick in the mag.
(P.S. hits like a really big rock)

"I've had this gun for nearly 4 years and it works incredibly well. Not once have I had any major problem with it, only recently I've been getting some minor feeding issues. It's also pretty creaky, but that's not a very big deal for me personally. Other than that, this thing should last you quite a while

"Beautiful gun best spray and pray gun ever. At first the mags are hard to pull in and out but after a while they smooth out. the magazines are hard to wind due to bad placement of the winder. All in all great gun highly recommended.

"Great, shoots decent and would recommend this gun for anyone looking for a gun that isn't an M4 or AK. One thing to be careful of is the fore sight surrounding plate things. The both sides of the triangular metal has actually snapped on me but I was able to use some strong clear glue to mend them so you can barely notice, but just be sensitive with those.

"This was my first gun after trying airsoft for the first time. The full mask I wear is restricting to how i look down sights, so the angled stock fits right along with the mask. The high cap mags I own have yet to have any problems, tho winding is a pain. The pros and cons are as follow:
Pros:
High cap mags (could be a con, with winding)
It's not light but it's not overly heavy. It feels like it should.
The batteries it asks for are great, one charge has lasted me 6 hours
Grips and stock is plastic, no breaks yet (but is plastic: see cons)
Fps around 380 to 400, most call their hits or regret it.
Cons:
The strap is week, it broke a month in but after rapping it around the gun it is still functional.
High cap mags, you have to wind but that's with all high caps
Fake wood stock, it's plastic, it feels like plastc, it wobbles but I have yet to break them.
Battery rattles: get some foam it will help the noise.
Overall I love this gun, with the addition to my arsenal of an RPK, Chicago Typewriter and Aliens pulse rifle, I keep coming back to the cyma thompson. Shes reliable, quick to fire, easy to move around with, and always a underestimated gun on the field.

"My brother bought this 7 days ago and its super accurate and cool. Cons: Hi cap mag sucks, he wishes the wood furniture was in stock so please restock real wood furniture. Pros: Full metal, $uper accurate, costs $120 ,very solid gun. 12/10 very good aeg

"I got this gun for a trade from a friend, anyways this gun stock is very good have not put any upgrades in it. Anyone's this gun shoots good and nice and straight the price is good. This is a great gun for beginners and intermediate players
Pros
Haven't chrono end but I would say the FPS they say it is is right
Gun is metal in most places
Accurate, shoots very far
Price is good ( I got it a lot cheaper technically)
Very realistic to the real one
Nice sized
Cons
Imitation wood creaks and I don't like the feel of it
The trigger is plastic and so are the mid caps and the one with it
Orange tip is to big and noticeable, (easy to take off with a blow dryer and a hammer and flathead

"LOVE IT. being a huge WW2 fan i bought this as a yolo weapon originally wanting a Scar, i used the default battery for a while and it sucked, didn't feed right slow weak inaccurate, my friend gave me his spare 1.2V valken battery, boosted fire rate by 40%, fps to 350 (.20g bb, no stray bbs, and is now feared by some. i bought the drum mag makes for great cover fire, and last resort (triple thumbs up). but stock and grip is Chinese wood (bummed). When buying be sure to have a Thompson sling makes it look a whole lot better. it looks feels and has been the best gun compared to every one else's aks, m4s etc.

"This is a great gun for beginners and experienced players alike! Excellent quality and build, Amazing stock fps and very accurate considering the short barrel. Would highly recommend a higher power battery than 8.4v.
Overall a great gun if you like it's external look. It's gearbox is fantastically well made and has great gears and stock parts! I hope to upgrade it with a Prometheus purple bucking, an ASG cylinder head, SHS piston head and madbull 6.03 barrel! hopefully it'll all work well. Great gun, maybe the best gun for under $200 especially if you can get it on ebay and then just replace the old internals with upgrade parts.

"This is a LOL gun. Its for LOL's and Its great for them. I say this because an ironsight gun tends not to do well if you can't use it on full auto. And naturally this empties the 50 round mag in 3 seconds flat. Unless you get the drum mag its just not usable in a fight. Otherwise it's a delightful replica of truly historic gun.

"This gun is awesome, it shoots great and hard... The only bad thing is the handle creeks a little because its imitation wood but who really cares. Also the website says that it does not come with a battery charger, that is not true it comes with a 8.4v large type not small ... small wont fit trust me and it comes with a charger and speed loader. Overall this was well worth the 145 I paid for it! Great gun!!
