"It’s pretty good for the price, I got at my local airsoft shop but wanted to out a review on evike.
The gun needs internal customization for outdoor fields but for cqb and indoor cqb it’s perfect, I reccomend getting a better spring as well for motor, piston, piston head, air nozzle and hop up bucking, cheap and worth it upgrades. Also I plan on converting it to an Hpa later on. The internals are pretty cheap considering it’s price pint buts it’s much more cheaper buying separate upgrades then getting the elite version.

"Overall this gun isn't bad. It has a little weight to it, comes with 2 mags, and feels good in your hands. It's pretty much the same as the Elite Force H&K competition kit Mp5 except it doesn't come with an extra stock, the description says it has a higher Fps, and the outer barrel has a completely different look and a mock suppressor.
This gun is pretty good for CQB and the price is affordable. The charging handle is really the only con I have encountered so far, that and the creaking. But again, its a sub-$200 gun and its made from polymer.
I would recommend for CQB games, its pretty fun to play with.

"Very satisfying to reload but I cant slap it anymore because it broke :(. Easy to remove the suppressor and has more battery space than I thought it would. comfortable and light. Very easy to fix adjust hop up. Iron sights are low but I just trace the BBs for my accuracy anyway.

"I bought this just for the base gun look and feel because I loved the design from years of Modern Warfare. I have to say, it performs well for a CQB field. It feels very good right out of the box. I've taken it out to around 5 games so far and I haven't had a single jam in the feeding system yet. The metal frame and wire stock make it hard to damage also if you play outside. Shoots accurately using .20s to about 150-200ft. Above that, it drops like a bowling ball.

Now I also have some pretty big complaints. DO NOT SLAP THE HANDLE! The priming handle is just decorative on this rifle, but is needed to be slotted back to insert the battery. Because of pulling it back, I naturally wanted to slap the handle back. It sheared right off after a couple of slaps. I still have a working rifle now, but my priming handle is missing. :( After I broke it, I looked for videos about how to disassemble the barrel or parts to replace it and I found nothing. All you can find are videos about how to adjust the firing system, not the barrel for an SD6. Lastly, the mags (although I've never had had a bb jam in the gun) have to be wound constantly after sustaining fire. I've used the stock mags and others from the evike store and all fire consistently for about 2 seconds (about 25-50 rounds I guess) before needing wound again. These mags feel nice and hold 400 rounds, so I expected better. The gun feels and performs really well, but the priming handle was a large loss to me.

"It's an ok gun but just a starter gun, by no means is it any better then any m4 aeg out there.
2 Hi-Cap mags that suck, a tiny battery compartment in the handguard that is a pain in the
butt to install using a butterfly nunchuck battery, but it will fit. Also it being half plastic really
is a turn off with this gun. Its alright for a back up gun i give it a 3.5/5

"I would not recommend this if you consider yourself a skilled shooter, I have a fast trigger finger and this thing cannot keep up. The fire selector , when on full auto, rubs against your index finger and can cause discomfort. The pad on the stock of the gun is very uncomfortable. If you couldn't already tell the modularity of this gun is not ideal and finding attachments or any attachment adaptors is not easy. Overall, expect to buy upgrades for this gun. I would say it is either a collectors gun or a gun for a VERY VERY new player. I'm not saying this thing is terrible or that you shouldn't buy it, but expect to have to buy things for it that match up to your play style. (It does not come with a battery) You will definitely be out matched by players on the field with fancy guns.

"Just bought one of these from Evike and think a proper review will be helpful to others. I'm prior Service and have been involved with Milsim for about 10 years now, just to give some perspective on my opinion. Admittedly I have high standards but purchased this Umarex Mp5 SD6 since the SD's are getting hard to find, and figured at the $150 price point it was worth a shot. I painted it immediately since I don't care for all polymer bodies. This one looks fine, but you get what you pay for and it isn't the best polymer body I've seen. A bit shiny. All in all it's a good looking package with a decent trigger response with a lipo battery. I swapped out the stock motor with a spare VFC, which brought the ROF up to a respectable level. I also bought the metal SD suppressor that Evike sells and swapped out the crummy plastic one this model comes with, which improves the look and hopefully the durability. So far, so good. I wanted to have a look under the hood, however, and that's when I decided to look for a better MP5. Be aware that this AEG is inexpensive and meant to be used as is, internally. Disassembly is surprisingly impossible, and I've worked on more guns over the years than I want to admit. It's just really not meant to be worked on. I couldn't even get to the hop up and barrel to put a longer inner barrel in. So, if the $150 price tag is your budget, and you like the MP5 SD look and just want to plug in a battery and rock until it drops, this is your gun. If you want quality, durability, and upgrade-ability, forget it.

"Bought this gun back in 2019 and I barely use it as it's barely usable. Definitely made for beginners as it is missing everything that is currently standard in the market. No mosfet, no QC spring gearbox, and bare minimum motor. The upper body is creaky in most areas and will most likely break if it sustains a fall. The only saving grace of this gun is that is one of the only ways to have an MP5 SD replica and that it is possible to get into the gearbox in the first place. Get ready for a tedious takedown of the gun as well as it requires removing absolutely everything off the gun before you get into the gearbox with the clamshell design of the upper body. However, all my gripes are voided if you HPA this gun as it is a perfect candidate for HPA due to it being light, compact, and not needing to use 95% of the stock internals.

"Definitely a BEGINNER BEGINNER GUN. I'm talking like, they've never touched an airsoft gun type of beginner. Even then there are better guns that you can get. this gun is not worth it. The stock is uncomfortable, the trigger is slow, I find myself constantly rolling the mag. If you have this much money for a starter just get a lancer tactical AR. Unless you are just a collector of MP5's.
