"Platform: ARP9
Setup: Stock barrel length 1in extension
Model: 8in Black
Pros: Excellent smooth matte finish. Feels premium. Nice and slim yet still fits my Acetech Lighter BT inside. Rail seems to be in line with the upper receiver rail from a horizontal standpoint. Feels very solid once installed. Price is very budget friendly for what you get.
Cons: Only 2 issues that I've found (that pertain to my specific setup) It doesn't not sit flush against the upper receiver of the ARP9. There is about a credit cards width of space between the rail and upper receiver. This is with the barrel nut cranked as tight as I'm comfortable with on the plastic threads of the receiver.
Also, with the Acetech Lighter BT installed, most of the M-Lok accessory nuts make contact with the tracer unit as it takes up the majority of the space inside the rail meaning that I have to mount my accessories behind the unit to clear it. If you're running a smaller diameter tracer unit, or plan to extend the barrel length to clear the rail on your ARP9, this won't be an issue.
All in all, this is a fantastic, budget friendly option for the ARP9 even with the two little qwerks.

"The rail itself is nice, but on both a G&G and Specna arms (at least), there's a pretty large gap between it and the receiver

"The rail is great. Well built. Only down side is the screws that hold the rail to the barrel but are way too short will not stay in. Easy fix tho. Just go to lowes and get some M4-.70x12 metric screws and the problem will be solved. Also depending on the aeg you have, I have an apex, the rail does not seat flush against the receiver. Other than that it is amazing. The tan is the same color as my magpul accessories

"So I have the 15 inch version and it feels nice on the hands. Light and comfortable in the hands. The reason for the 4 out of 5 is for the mounting hardware. The screws that lock the Handguard in place were a bit too small and wouldn’t stay in properly. The barrel shims were a savor because it helps center the barrel nut. Another issue I ran into (not a very serious one for me) is that the top rail does not sit flush to my reciever. This could only for me since I’ve mounted it to a KWA LM4C. Overall it’s a great Handguard and paint job is excellent on it.

"The quality feels fantastic, however, there is a gap between the rail and the receiver due to the threads on the barrel nut not being deep enough. Going to throw it in the lathe and try to see if I can make it fit flush. The barrel nut needs a redesign from the factory. Otherwise it’s a good looking product for the price.

"Not the same height as VFC Avalon M4. Also significant gap between back of rail and front of receiver.
