"I got the TM spec Magnetic Grey, fitting on a VFC 416c metal body. The buffer tube is amazing quality and the color of the Magnetic Grey is beautiful. The gripes I have is that 1 the threading for the castle nut is NOT airsoft spec but rather real steel/mil spec which they do not mention and 2 the Magnetic Grey extends the stock an additional INCH meaning even at position 0 the retractable stock won't even come close to the castle nut. Again this is for the Magnetic Grey TM spec version. Wish they just made all of them the same length as the Electric Blue. And yes I should've paid closer attention to the pictures for the length issue.
As I mentioned in this review the buffer tube uses REAL STEEL or MIL Spec castle nuts. The one I am using currently on my buffer tube is the XTS Castle nut in black. The castle nut costed me only 2 dollars.

"Pro:
- Fit and finish is excellent.
- 8 stock positions.
- Very snug fit (verging on too tight) = minimal wobble. Tested with a Mission First Tactical Minimalist stock.
Con:
- No castle nut.
- No mounting screw hardware
- The fit with real steel milspec stocks is almost *too* tight.
- Not a fan of how much extra exposed threading there is on the tube. Just an aesthetic gripe though.
- At the price point, the G&P buffer tubes are a better value since they come with all the hardware you need to mount it.

"Just to clarify the Tokyo marui variant will need a G&P style castle nut. It WILL NOT FIT your AEG's stock castle nut. I emailed tech support but they took too long so I ended up just buying a different buffer tube that came with one.

"Bought this for my krytac, first it doesn’t fit and they don’t tell you there’s no castle nut…hardest item find to be sold alone then it wobbles even with a real AR castle nut and an aeg one doesn’t even screw on… was completely false advertised but it looks nice though

"Very good quality and it looks great. However, if you want to put this on your F-1 Firearms BDR-15 AEG like in the pictures, you need extensive modifying. The GBBR tube is the only one that can fit and it requires you to drill out the back in order for you to access the battery stock.

"Decent finish and looks. They are fairly light weight and decently built. The buffer retainer pin does catch the anti- rotation pin on the tube so it needs to be filed down to seat square.
I was sent another prior used part which did have the tube bore gouged out from being used prior. After some fitment and cleaning up previous damage it seems to work just fine.
3/5 due to being sent used parts again otherwise a solid 4/5 for decent design and install.
