"Great starter gun. I run a 11.1v and it shoots well and can handle the voltage. Not all mags fit but most m4 mags will. When I got the fun it came with a fault mag, however, Evike replaced it and it shoots fine now.

"I have had this gun for about a year now and have had zero issues with it. Even used it in the winter at about 24 degrees with no issues. It is all polymer but still can take a beating. It’s been slammed into a few trees during play. This is my go to gun when my much more expensive guns give me trouble, which seems to be often. I am pretty impressed with the overall quality and would recommend as a good solid starter gun.

"Trying to set all emotions aside when write reviews but stock, this replica is excellent. With the original spring I was hitting man sized targets no problem at 100 ft without touching the hop-up. The only thing I found as a problem was that I could not get it to feed hi-cap magazines. I ended up using Echo 1 mid-cap mags and they’re perfect.

Downsides to this replica are that it has a polymer upper/lower receiver and buffer/stock tube which worries me a little. For a beginner, this gun is great.

Pros: works better with 11.1v LiPo batteries vs the 9.6v NiMH that IS INCLUDED.
The weight of the CORE is almost perfect For CQB. It gives the weight feel for replica accuracy

For how much effort specna puts into their licensing, that extra effort could be put into material quality such as, at minimum, aluminum receivers. They put stickers and what look like fake QC sheets in the box. If you’re willing to look past those things, definitely a solid replica!

"my core series m4 is great! i would definitely recommend to any new airsofter that may be looking for a rifle to start with. the only cons is that evike doesnt tell us that the gun indeed comes with a 9.6v nimh battery and standard wall charger, it doesnt come with the red dot sight seen in the pictures, but it does come with a vertical foregrip, so you can attach it if you want. i dont use .20g bb's, you can get 0.25g bb's and theyll work just fine. i was trying to manipulate the rear sights because there seems to be two rear sight pictures, but it is really tough to do because the sights are metal. you get a 300rd high cap magazine, but if you want to play more, you might want to get a couple extra SA branded midcaps or highcaps. the gun is full metal and ive actually scratched my hand on the buffer tube a couple times but the gun is very afforable and practical for us beginners

"Very good for the price. Shoots almost exactly 380 just as advertised, externals are nice for a polymer gun. Can hop even quite heavy bbs (like .32s).

The only thing that was kind of unexpectedly bad was the "quick" change spring system. Getting the buffer tube back on after a spring change can be quite difficult if you've rewired your gun. If changing your spring quickly is really important to you, stick with an ICS Split Ver2 model, although I'd argue this gun is better than their sportlines in most other areas.

"I got this rifle (SA-C03) in Labor's Day Box of Awesomeness.

Out of the box the quality is great. Good weight considering is almost all plastic/Fiber glass. Mine came with nun-chuck battery and simple wall charger, description says it does not includes them, big plus here.

Magazine holds 300 rds and feels also good quality polymer, not heavy, has texture that gives it a good grip, specially when taking it out of the mag well. Installing and removing the magazine on the rifle, feels rough but gives a snug fit.

Shot a few rounds at home and is very quiet. Iron sights are very accurate, even though I tested it at short distance. Have not had the chance to go out and test it at longer range.

The feature of replacing springs "on the fly" is appealing, will try to replace the one extra that comes in the box later, but according to the manual, I only need a flat screwdriver.

Like I said, I got this together with a Really nice Colt 1911 GBB pistol replica in the Box of Awesomeness this week, can't complain!!

Thank you EVIKE for these great events and promotions.

Congratulations.

"Great beginner AEG and my personal first AEG. The only problems i have with this gun is that it stops shooting if you rapid fire it on semi auto. (Using a 20c 7.4v lipo with a Tamiya connector). And in order to fix it you have to fire one round on full auto. The high cap that came with the gun broke after a day of use when I gave it to my friend and wouldn't wind bbs anymore. But that doesn't matter much because I use krytac mid cap mags. The quick change spring is also really useful, it makes this gun serviceable for cqb and outdoors. The gun shoots pretty accurately out of the box (using .25 Gram bbs) and I will be putting a different bucking in it soon. The handguard helps make the gun feel really solid and the stock is nice. (Probably because it is my preferred type) would recommend.

"Overall is a great starter M4 out of the box.
Pros:
-The price for what you get
-Came with iron sights
-Changeable spring
-All Metal design
Cons
-Magazine wobbles a little when in.
-Be careful what model you buy, I bought the URX model thinking I can find the pieces necessary to make it better, but most of the actual parts designed for it don't really exist anymore or are hard to find.
-Hi Cap Mag if you aren't into these kind of mags.

"very good as a starter gun, don't feather the trigger too much or you'll destroy the cutoff lever like I did.

Pro's:
Good Price
Good Performance
Good overall
the stock trigger break
VERY accurate

Con's:
cutoff lever is weak.
some mags don't feed well

"The Black and Tan Archer came with plastics that are one shade of tan, while the barrel shroud is a darker tan.
Really wish they didn't do that. The quality of the gun is exceptional for its price point though.

"It is very reliable I have put more then 10,000 rounds through it and the only problems with it is the mag it comes with sucks, and you can't spam the trigger on simi-atuo, it will lock up and you might have to switch it to full auto to get it to fire again but it isn't a problem if you take your time to aim. It can hit a human size target 180 feet away, a soda can 50 feet away easily and has good rof on full auto. It was awesome back when it was in stock and 30 dollars cheaper, but now it's just ok. The double eagle calaco Jack cost the same or less now and it is just as reliable and accurate with a much better trigger, you can spam it on simi-atuo as fast as you want

"runs pretty good but had a few issues, i had an issue with one of the battery wires coming loose, as well as it not always firing when in semi auto. had to get the wiring resoldered and now i gotta bring it back in to check the trigger

"I may have gotten a lemon but this gun was very sub par. Very poor qc on the externals, horrible airseal. The shimming was alright and the aoe was nice and the price point is good, but I'd say save the money and get something a bit higher end

"worked great actually the best fps ive seen for a gun at my fields limmit in my experience but it only got through less than 1000 shots with a 9.6v before it stopped feeding full auto and jammed constantly, waiting on a refund request as ive used it for maybe 8 games bought it in may and asked for a replacement in august a bit over due on the free warranty but ima see what happens,
idk if i can recommend it or not obv because it didnt even last half a year while keeping it well kept and the only thing ive really touched that coulda caused minor scratches was removing the muzzle to change the rail system as the muzzle its way too big to remove the hand guard
