"Played with it for one day but so far rather impressed. The hop screw is reversed (left is more hop) which is a little strange. Having the hop up fully on .32s are straight to about 125ft at 270-280 fps on a warmer day. For $70 you cant beat this thing, got a couple kills with it at decent range and the spare clips are nice. Feels good, shoots great, great value.

"Usually I'm not big on plastic guns and i was expecting something that was just ok but this thing is actually pretty awesome. It's got a nice feel and weight and is surprisingly structurally solid. The sights are ok not supper visible but very usable and rather cool looking. The hopup is such a nice feature to have and something that really should be in more revolvers. Gas efficiency is superb and I'm getting 200+ shots per co2 cartridge. The little clips are convenient and even though the cylinder doesn't spin which is a shame the gun is probably more skirmish able which is really the point. The rails are nice so you can attach a bipod... maybe two bipods if you're cool enough. Overall the fun per dollar ratio on this thing is fantastic. If you're considering it you should get one you won't be disappointed.

"Bought 2 of the first generation H8R's and have had nothing but good luck with them both and they are used quite a bit. While accuracy beyond 75 feet was tough, inside of that was pretty good and inside of 50 feet was satisfying. Perfect for CQB.
This Gen 2 H8R is just plain amazing. The new hop-up will send a .23 into the 100 foot range now and with more than acceptable accuracy. Inside of that, it is as good several higher priced GBB pistols. The new fiber optic sights are excellent and easy to aquire.
This entire design was well thought out, right from the begining. The use of the full-moon disks instead of cumbersome shells, make their ease of loading with BB's and loading into the revolver, brilliant. For loading the disks, I submerge them in the bag of BB's face up and when I take them out of the bag, all 10 chambers are loaded and all I have to do is press them into the disk. Pretty quick. Get a bunch of spare disks and your good to go. Throw on a red-dot sight and compact flash light for a little of that sci-fi/operator/zombie fighter look. (lol)
All this fun at this price? Life is good.

"The H8R gen 2 is what the original H8R should have been. Hopefully someone will start up the manufacturing of the disc holsters again. The revolver is fun to shoot, now accurate at distance, and shoots at an appropriate FPS. The sights are so much more useful and I love playing with it. Can't wait to get out there again with the H8R gen 2.

"(Disclaimer, purchased from another seller, same product however)
Now I don't have the gun anymore but I'll tell you about when I did. While I had it I mostly did test firing and such, the field I go to doesn't allow revolvers, or atleast didn't at the time, so I never got to field it, This is the Gen 2 H8R revolver and its shown by this from the 'Silver' (gray actually), Trigger and Hammer, but anyways, while I had it it was a fantastic little gun, one could easily just run this as a primary if you wanted to, it has space for lights or lasers, heck, if you really wanted to, you could put a vertical foregrip, the hopup is adjusted via hex key through the top of the revolver, but for mine running .25g it didn't need it out to about 50 feet or so, where it would accurately make hits on a human sized target, it is EXTREMELY gas efficent as in, 400 rounds or so, per CO2 cartridge, its that good. The CO2 is stored in the grip, but easy, there a little finger grove on the bottom which you pull on and the side of the grip panel comes off revealing the canister and adjustment knob, which isnt really a knob its a bolt of sorts, however, Elite Force had this all planned out and put the hex key onto the grip panel you pull off and then lets you remove the CO2 from the gun and put a new one inside, this is a nice thought but needs some reinforcement, the guy I sold it too said the tool broke off later during use. It comes with five ten round disks like it says, which are all made of plastic, which is nice, makes them light and a replacement set of 2 is only 10 bucks (at the time of this review) however the rotater gear, follower whatever, the name escapes me at the moment, is made of metal and chews up the soft plastic like chewing gum, thank goodness the price of replacements are cheap, so those are some things to watch out for, also nice and lightweight thanks to the polymer body, but it doesnt feel cheap and actually handles really nice in the hand. I actually sold the gun for more than I bought it for it's that good.
So to recap:
Pros:
-Nice Weight
-Comes with 5 spare moon clips
-Well built and intuitively designed
-Reasonable price
-Good for beginners and veterans of the sport alike
-Place for optics and lights/laser/grips
-Spare moon clips are fairly cheap
Cons:
-Moon clips gear teeth strip easily and are made of a soft plastic
-Key for removing CO2 can break
-Reloads are long and timely, dangerous in a firefight
Overall, good gun and for sure worth getting I'd say, especially for beginners looking for a solid sidearm to back up their primary, really hoping Elite Force sees these smaller issues and fixes them, maybe with a Gen 3 Version, only getting a 4/5 because when stuff breaks its a bit of an issue and when it breaks early in use its a bigger issue, especially for a newbie.

"I used this a few times in my games. It has decent range and a nice supply of extra discs. I was able to attach a rediculous vertical grip since it had a rail probably intended for flashlights. My only issue is the built in allen key is attached to plastic which does not bode well when you are trying to unscrew a CO2 canister from a more firm built body, maybe it was me but my allen key broke off the grip when i was unscrewing it soo be gentle with that part otherwise everything was decent.

"Very good revolver and easy to load but the magazine ejector part jammed and you need to push very hard to open it. But somehow I lost it and im sad

"Okay so the pistol is pretty good and fun to shoot. I usually end up running out of gas around 150-200 rounds. I really enjoy how easy it is to reload the mag rings and the fiber optic sights are classy.
We've also got the hop up on top that you can adjust with the included allen key which is a plus over the gen 1 version of this gun.
Accuracy is decent with .2 gram bbs, .25s with some hop will probably be better.
The only issue I have is that the fps is pretty inconsistent jumping from 330 to 360 and an occasional shot at 450 which makes it seem that i may not be able to get this gun into indoor fields. Overall its a pretty solid gun.

"It works very well for me the only issue that I had was that one of the mags broke in a few games but other than that it works great

"OK this is actually a REALLY GOOD REVOLVER but 1st the reason why 3 stars and then what is actually good about it.
I rate 3 stars because the sight is totally miss aligned with where it shoots, so the optic fiber sight it looks awesome but is totally useless (and no, is not the hop up, the sight is miss aligned for sure).
Also, I always wanted a revolver to fan the hammer (Mccree style), I have heard that this revolver is really good (and it is) and very cheap (absolutely) so I got it, then I notice that you can NOT FAN THE HAMMER because the trigger have a mechanism to lock the wheel so, that is a negative for me.
Now another thing I dont like (this will be a good thing for others) is that this revolver is EXTREMELY silent for a revolver, because is a revolver I would like to be loud, but I repeat this is just me, others will see this as a POSITIVE thing.
Now good things:
Now, the body is made out of polymer, which makes it light weight but is actually well balanced.
The Co2 consumption is actually pretty low, so you will get a big amount of shoots before needing to change the capsule.
The hop up works great and actually can lift heavy bbs, I used 0.30 but I think will lift 0.36 no problem.
After I placed a red dot sight on it (I dont intend to use one with it thats why the sight not working is a big drop for me) and adjust it, this thing is really accurate for the price is AWESOME!!!
To resume,
I dont recommend this revolver if your looking for realism, is not loud, dont have an actual wheel mag, like a real revolver so you can not spin it in, you cant fan the hammer, and is light weight.
I do recommend this gun if you are looking for a secondary weapon, with good performance, that looks awesome and on an affordable price.
Even tho it has the sight issue, I dont regret my purchase.
