"I have about 5000 rounds through now and it still preforming wonderfuly. The only complaint i will have is its not as accurate for me compared to other guns i have. However this pistol is just so much fun to shoot i have the co2 version and it gives it that little extra kick. This is a perfect pistol for someone learning how to operate fire arms, which is what i do.

"After having multiple handguns the umarex glock 17 is the best ive had. Its accurate, reliable, and lightweight. Never had a fail to feed issue or any other mechanical problem with this pistol. My one big gripe are the magazine costs but either by that I couldn’t have asked for a better sidearm. Truly worth the price!

"This is a very impressive Glock 17 replica. Right out of the box it was extremely well lubed. There was also lube outside of the gun which added some marks to the slide but no big deal, it wasnt hard to clean. The grip is really nice on the gen 4 and all of the correct markings were right where they should be. I was a able to fit 25 rounds in the mag plus one in the chamber so the capicty is pretty good. Not as good as the KJW co2 p226 x-five (holds 28 in the mag plus one in the chamber) the Glock 17 mag is also a very nice design. Simple to load and fill. The first time I fired the gun I went through 2 mags worth of shots with only one fill. The gun shoots very nice and smooth and is pretty accurate for not ever messing with the hop up. It has really good range. Shoots a little to the left but I’m sure once I adjust the hop up it will be even more accurate. You can still hit a man sized target right out of the box which is cool. I was surprised with how light the pistol was which isn’t a bad thing. It has that melt in your hand feeling. With all of that being said I’m glad I bought this pistol during Black Friday special ($150) even at that price I think it was still way too much money for what goes for originally ($170) It’s good gun but definitely not worth the price. I’ll be getting the co2 model ASAP.

"Most of the money goes into licensing, but in the other hand, it looks great. Works like any other standard gbb pistols. No issues after 1000+ rounds (as long as you upkeep it).

"when i got this gun i had some questions and was very skeptical due to it being a name brand. but i can tell you this pistol is a very effective gun indoors (i have yet to try it outdoors).
i work with Dept. of Corrections and we use the glock 17 gen 4 series and this gun is so alike its almost scary. its a great prop piece and an amazing secondary and/or primary(for you cqc/cqb types out there)
pros
1. sturdy frame
2. snappy trigger
3. fits the WE g17 mags(extended mag inculded)
4. nice texture
5. mag plate has glock trademarks making a great pistol for you Live Action movies and/or short films directors
6.magazine feeds very well
7. disperses gas very well(2 full mags before needing to re-gas)
8. fairly consistant fps with .20g bbs it was pressing 288-290
cons
1. hardshell holsters (safariland and Blackhawk) are extremely snug for g17 holsters
2. the mag that came with the gun broke the first time it hit the ground(but it hit concrete in a fast paced and aggresive arena)
3. magplate is a pain to remove sometimes
4. orange tip is a pain to remove
some things to take into consideration for those of you thinking its too expensive this is cheaper than the Echo 1 Timberwolf Lone Wolf(my first Gseries styled pistol)
mags are easy to get and it feels great in my hands. other details the hopup is a very sturdy unit and i have blown through about 4000 rds with mine already and ive been consistantly hitting a hand size target up to 100-150ft accurately with about a 2in grouping (using .25g classic army bbs)
the box was abit of a disapointment but i dont get a gun for the box now do i lol
hope this helps

"Just bought one of these today, and let me tell you it feels GREAT! I haven't shot it yet, but it feels like itll shoot fantastically. The magazine sits perfectly, and the slide is super easy to remove (unlike my old EF 1911 TAC). I can't wait to field it!

"Great gun, does what it's supposed to. Once you adjust the hop up shots like a dream. Only problem I had is that it doesn't fit in a blackhawk glock 17 holster. Won't go all the way in and won't secure. It did fit in my blackhawk glock 21 holster perfectly. They must have made this glock 17 as wide as the real glock 21.

"its everything you would expect from this gun and more. very accurate with a nice kick. I am definitely in awe of this gun. Only issue is the finish of the slide is very prone to scratching. take good care of it to protect the finish. worth every penny. cant wait to see all the upgrades that will be made for this gun. not sure if it was worth pre-ordering, I pre ordered one here and also bought from another site that had it in stock and shipped same day, so I have 2! will be more likely as more are coming next shipment.

"After pre-ordering it since January and finally got my hands on it I loved it. I found that it is sturdy, shot accurate right out of the box and very comfortable in my hands. Saddened to see that it did not come with backstraps but the Glock still fits my hands. I also accidentally dropped a magazine on the pavement and I thought it was the end of the road. Just a couple dings and no leaks. Also sad to see that it is not compatible with KWA ATP magazines and my SERPA level II holster. (My holster might be for a gen 3 Glock). All in all a great buy and cant wait for more of the Glock models to come out.

"Personally this gun being the first legal glock in the US was a big deal to me as I am VERY fond of glocks, just the look and feel of them gave them some great rep in my eyes.
Buying this gun however was a mistake on my part as at first I personally did not think it is worth the 170 dollars spent. I first picked up this gun thinking "What the actual....." The feel of the gun was almost trash compared to what I had hoped for. The full metal slide felt fake and plastic but was soon figured that the finish was just some weird finish. Speaking of finish, I have had this gun for about 5 hours and it is scratched to ****. Well not terrible scratched but it isn't too strong of a coating.
Now yes the gun had some coating problems and a bad first impression but when I started to feel for the gun and started shooting it, I first found whatever lubricant is on it is terrible (recommend cleaning and spraying with silicone) and that it is some sticky gooey gel like substance. Besides that after it was sprayed with silicone it was ready to go and I instantly became familiar with the glock feel and took aim. The gun shot very accurate with a little hop-up tweaking and proved its reliability while having some decent gas efficiency. The gun really showed how it is better than a WE-Tech glock and how it is great for a sidearm.
So yes, for the first few minutes of having the gun I felt it was a rip-off and not worth it at all. Then I got reminded of the glock feel and how much I enjoy them making this piece of art worth it for me. The gun is beautiful, feels good (get used to some of it), and performance wise out of the box is great. 10/10 Would recommend to people who really value glocks as much as I do.
P.S. I know a lot of us waited for the guns to come out but can't complain much because they are here and they prove they were worth the wait.
