"I've put about 10 magazines through this gun so far. The tracer package was totally worth it! It looks like lasers shooting out and the muzzle flash is pretty good also and can be turned off which is nice.
I only have 1 bad thing to say about the tracer unit. When it arrived the cap was on TIGHT. the cap is also reverse threaded so when you try to take it off remember to go the opposite direction! I had to use a vice and vice grips to get the cap off which scratched it a lot. They put orings on the tracer to barrel adapter but they are too thin so they slide inside the connection instead of doing what they should. I put 2 orings on each side and now it snugs up against the rubber and won't seize up.

"Pros:
Shoots well
Nice magazine capacity
Works great with SAI BLU mags
Feels delicate yet very durable
Full auto is so fun
Cons:
Weak bolt/spring causing some jams in full auto
Difficult to find magazines for it, especially extended mags
Can’t be converted to HPA as far as I know
Actual safety above the trigger is almost impossible to turn off
I love this overall. This is my new competition pistol until I can’t afford a Tokyo Marui Hi Capa Build.

"Pros and Cons are all the same. However I had an issue early on about the semi not working. Full auto is fine but the Semi shoots 2 bbs at once. Im trying to figure out the issue with no luck

"I haven't field tested so take my review with a grain of salt. This so far once I got ahold of some green gas has been good so far. I haven't had any jamming issues as some have had, and I've ran about 4 - mags worth of BBs before i refilled with some more gas. The only feed fail I got was just from running out of gas and there most likely wasn't enough gas pressure to shoot it out. That being said i still need to go and play a game before a more legit review. appreciate anyone who took the time to read mine.
Pros
Looks
Gas efficiency
Full auto option (Im not going to use it unless i ever decide to HPA it)
Cons
Selector Switch is underneath the slide and is kind of pain to select.
Safety is in the trigger area right underneath in the frame area. It's hard to set into safe and most likely will break your fingernail trying to put it into safe.
Hop Up is a screw and its backwards, Loosen for more hop and tighten for less thats.....well something. Possibly going to get the aftermarket rotary hop up made for this gun

"I bought the Galaxy as my first airsoft gun ever, in hindsight just to get used to airsoft gas guns in general I probably should've bought a standard and reliable model like a 1911 or HI-CAPA. The gun shot fine out of the box, Though as some of the other reviews say it's fire selector was extremely stiff. I cannot move it without an allen key. The gun's hop up is also inside of the chamber and requires the gun to be almost completely disassembled to change on top of this if I used the gun on full auto the hop up slowly moved usually putting more spin on the bb (because tighter=less spin/less range). The gun's Iron sights are not great but it comes with picatinny rail attachments that are straight forward to install. I bought a solid red dot to assist with this and it helps a little. The gun on full auto is fast, loud and kicks quite a bit more than one would expect with the small block back mechanism that it comes with. It probably dumps 20 bbs in under 4 seconds. The mags that mine came with did not leak at all which is a problem with a lot of other airsoft magazines out there so that's nice especially since it's tough for me personally to fill the mags because my technique sucks. A word of caution when chambering the gun everyone who's used it naturally puts their finger on the mag eject and sometimes accidentally ejects the mag. I've never used this gun on a field but I have in the presence of a few airsoft friends and its a real conversation starter lol.
PROS:
-Flashy Exterior look that will turn heads
-When people hear the full auto they ask you if they can use it in a game
-Heavy (can be a con)
-Fast Full auto
-Punchy blow back
CONS:
-Hop up is in horrible location
-Hop up sometimes loosens on full auto meaning lack of accuracy
-Fire selector is in bolt AND on mine it was super tight and couldn't be moved without a tool
-Bad iron sights (IMO)
All in all the gun is extremely racy so I wouldn't recommend using this particular model at a field because you cannot change the fire selector on the fly. If I were to use it i'd only use it as a full auto backup for short range. I can't recommend this gun to anyone who is relatively new to airsoft or is looking to use this as their main gun at a field.
If you really want a gun that atleast looks similar then I'd suggest getting the Galaxy 1911 or Galaxy Hi-Capa. While I don't own either of these guns the fire selector is on the pistol grip rather than the bolt so you shouldn't have any problems with it. which is my main aversion to using this on a field

"Well the gun is sturdy and is nice to feel but I do have some problems with it. first, the magazine has a slight wiggle but that's fine. Second is that it is not easy so turn the gun off of safety. I have ripped up my fingernail trying to do it by hand so I just do it with a Allen wrench. And third the switch for full auto is located underneath the slide while it is open. so it is not very practical. Make sure you run a few hundred rounds before you bring it to a field i had some feeding problems but they stopped after a bit of firing. But runs great and besides the safety locking problem and the switch for full auto its running great!
