"Bought the specific SCAR L for a Polarstar Kythera build

The nozzle in the gearbox is a standard M4 nozzle (21.4 mm), which meant that I did not have to buy a separate nozzle for the Kythera, as long as I bought the V2 kit.

The build quality is very solid. Nothing wobbled.

The inner barrel length is 275mm (it does not stick out past the outer barrel).

It's a bit tedious to disassemble, but not impossible.

I would recommend this to anyone who is planning on making a SCAR L build, mainly because it is compatible with almost all M4 internals, so there is a bigger market for parts.

Only bad thing is that it does NOT come with a MOSFET (I didn't really care about it since I went the HPA route)

"Great quality build. Shooting 1.3 joules with .20. Also to note that mine is not quick change spring..and no mosfet. Rof in semi and auto is slow with 7.4 lipo. Internals definitely need to be changed out.

"I love this rifle, the weight and feel of it in my hands is amazing. It has some awesome power and accuracy from what I can tell. The main problem I have with the gun is the hi-cap mag that it came with. The mags failed to feed into the rifle right out of the box and when I remove the mag to check the problem a bunch of bbs fall off the top of the mag and out of the mag well. Other than that I’d say it’s a really good rifle for your money.

"I bought one of these and so did my buddy. His gun has had no problem with his gun. Both guns chrono at 355 FPS with 8.4 batteries. My gun worked wonderfully until today, about 2 months and over 10,000 bbs later, my gun will only fire full auto even when in semi auto. I think it’s a trigger switch issue and I’m going to replace it soon. For the cost this gun is a MUST. Not only is it an awesome scar-l, it also has amazing accuracy and consistency. Have he gun also feels very sturdy and well made. Other than the trigger switch getting worn down on my gun, this scar-l is amazing!

"This gun is good but it has a few issues that are easy to fix

"This gun exceeded all of my expectations, and the full auto was impressive.
PROS
Accurate
Good battery life
Great full auto
Good value

CONS
Heavy
The extension of the stock came off, and I lost two parts

Overall, this gun was pretty good, and I would recommend this to everyone

"So far it seems to be a good rifle, only got it just now so we'll see how it lasts. A few things to note are that the magazine it comes with is stiff to insert, the stock can sometimes get stuck when extending and retracting, and the charging handle sounds like a tin can when sliding forward. Minor issues, the last one being a personal thing but it's overall good, especially with the trademarks giving it a nice look.

"I owned this gun for a bit past 7 months, and i have a lot of experience using it. that being said, i've come back to do an honest review. right out of the box, the gun feels solid. it looks pretty good, but the tones in combination look a bit goofy. it does come with 2 high caps and a battery, though, so that's great. however after using it for a while, i have developed some gripes and some praises, so here they are.
Pros-
-rps is good for a stock gun, around 18 or so if i had to guess
-it likes .20 and .25 gram bbs. its surprisingly accurate with .20s too.
-build quality is decent. more about this in the cons list.
-very accepting as far as mags are concerned
-it feeds well and doesnt jam
-it comes with 2 mags and a battery, thats ALWAYS a pro and i wish other companies would catch on to this.
-metal rails
-consistent fps and rps
-good battery conservation.
-its a SCAR, duh.

Cons-
-charging handle grinds against the inside of the body, not sure if it was just mine or not. either way, it should be noted.
-out of nowhere, the right-side fire selector fell off. it wasn't a problem because this gun has ambi selectors but again, should be noted.
-battery storage isn't that big, and the stock cant be collapsed all the way because of it.
-its better to not fold the stock. the guide springs at the stock aren't that good of quality and seem to jam up if you don't assist the stock back into its outward position.
-flash hider is very brittle. replace it with a metal one immediately.
-the motor gets rather hot in the grip, but it isn't a problem. i'm just nitpicking now.

"I bought this gun used from a friend and then had it for about a year. When my friend had it the gearbox locked. I managed to unlock it through sheer luck and began to use it. While it worked it had a blistering rate of fire with a 9.6v, had very good accuracy, and was enjoyable to use. Minor cosmetics on it broke, such as the fire select switch on one side of the gun, but it continued to work. One day there were a lot of cheaters and I shot through two hi cap mags in semi very quickly and suddenly the gearbox locked again. I was unable to unlock it this time and in the process of trying the motor also died. I am no technician so to get the gun fixed at that point would be possibly around $100, so for an old Airsoft gun it was time to put it down.

While the gun worked it was a 5/5 gun. The only reason anyone would not like the gun is if they don’t like the look. It shot well, shot 380 FPS, shot far, and appeared to be made solid. However it did break twice. The gun has so many good reviews though that this may simply have been an off case of unreliability.

"This rifle could be the perfect rifle but it's not compatible with some mags. That's my only complaint. However you should definetely get this Rifle. It's beautiful, so sturdy and heavy. I trully love it. Use 9.6 butterflies on it! It'll destroy any opponent that dares face its might.

"Very very very great quality gun. Love the feel. Has a nice weight touch. The only problem I had with it is the gun battery. This might only be like a one of a time thing but I got a faulty battery and had to by a 9.6v Butterfly. DO NOT USE 8.4 BATTERIES IT WILL NOT WORK. Otherwise, love the gun.

"I already left a review but i'm writing another one because i realized there is a lot i left out. First off, this gun comes with a cleaning/unjamming rod, two hi caps, a 8.4 nimh battery, and a wall charger. Out of the box the stock was slightly wobbly. Not anything serious in my mind. The mag well was a little too big causing some feeding issues too. This is super easy to fix! just glue a thin washer to the back of the mag-well and the mags don't wobble and feed fine. The trigger pull is pretty long, and the rof isn't amazing with the stock battery. I haven't tried it out with a 9.6 battery yet, but that will obviously improve it. This gun has very good external build quality and is very durable. It is kind of on the heavier side which makes it feel realistic in your hands but if you want a super light gun this might not be for you. There is tons of rail space. The orange plastic flash hider is made out of the weakest plastic ever, after the second day playing with this gun the front of the flash hider was almost completely chipped. It looks impossible to take off too. I would suggest buying a silencer or something to cover it up. It is pretty accurate but not amazing. This gun is definitely good enough to be competitive, but definitely wont make you an overpowered god. I would recommend his to anyone who wants a budget scar, because its decent and all the others are really expensive.

"Great build quality, reliable, and fairly accurate. The only reason this is 4 stars is because the trigger pull is really long so you wont be able to shoot very fast in semi auto. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quality/budget SCAR
