"Item came as expected. I had heard about mag compatibility issues with krytac products from other people in terms of feeding and seating properly before I purchased the product, but trust me, do not like that make you turn away from this product. The high cap it comes with is incredible, full metal, and works very well. No feeding issues on that. However, the mid-caps I had purchased would not sit high enough in the mag well to get a proper seal on the hopup. The solution to this was very quick and easy, I applied a couple layers of aluminum foil tape to the inside of the magwell, nearest to the trigger side, and that fixed things up perfectly. The midcaps now feed perfectly fine.
Pros:
Full metal (excluding polymer stock and A2 style pistol grip)
Comes with a small rail segment, perfect for attaching a grip
Solid weight to it
A solid platform to begin tech work on and modify to what ever you want
Solid out of the box accuracy (tested with .25's)
Cons:
Mag compatibility can be annoying sometimes
Low Velocity out of the box, around ~300FPS (however can easily be pumped up to 350 to 400 with a new spring if need be)

"Amazing Gun for the money.
Don't get me wrong, this isnt the $350 trident CRB. But it's a great gun. I opened mine up and went to play the very next day and had a lot of fun with it. Sadly, the gun does not shoot very hard. Chrono'd at 265 FPS /: which isn't very good for outdoor play. But other than that it's super solid. Full Metal construction makes it feel very sturdy and realistic. I used a 9.6v instead of a lipo for the first time in ages and honestly could barely tell a difference. This is by far the best gun (quality wise) for the $250 price range. After I played. I went ahead and did some easy upgrades. Longer tight bore barrel (covered by mock suppressor), Spring, and hop up unit. Shoots around 360-370 fps now. For less than $100 in upgrades and only $255 for the gun itself. This gun is amazing.
Pros:
Cool
Amazing Quality
Very high ROF with a 9.6v
Fast Trigger Response
Built in Mosfet.
Cons:
Does not shoot hard enough out of the box.

"ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Shipping took a while (UPS). First of all i ordered this m4 to have a base gun for builing on and i did not want to spend $450 when im only spending $80-$100 in upgrades. Anyway, out of the box, i noticed the durability was amazing. Krytac has always been good with their construction, and i have to say this is probrably the best i have spent my money on ever. After a few upgrades with the motor and spring i will be running the 11.1 lipo. The front end it a tad heavier than i prefer but overall is solid and holds well. One thing is that i wish they had included more, and longer rail pieces than just 1 five slot. No real cons, im very proud of Krytac and i feel my performance is insured!

"It's a great gun amazing for long range or cqb.

"I bought this airsoft rifle about last week and it performs perfectly. The listed FPS was 30 below what was advertised, which is 360, but it shoots 330. I was not sure why this was happening but I had contacted Krytac about it and now awaiting a reply. Overall, this gun feels really solid and looks really nice as well. The box is well made, and also gives you plenty of room to store in other stuff such as mags, scopes, etc if you don't have a gun bag yet. I would definitely recommend this rifle since I honestly believe this is one of the top tier rifles besides Tokyo Marui. [Not including HPA+ P*]

"An amazing piece of kit right out of the box! Shoots perfectly--and on a 9.6v NiMh battery, the trigger response and RoF are impressive. Fully metal, so you can be confident in the reliability and strength of the internals and externals. The RIS is beautiful, though not for everyone. The only brief issue I had was for the first time I switched to semi auto and tested it, it went full auto--coupled with a very tight trigger pull. After that one incident it fires flawlessly on all fire modes and the trigger operates as intended. Splendid quality, as always Krytac.

"Bought this gun because I wanted a krytac but not keymod. Quick change spring with a 115, and it's shooting 400 fps with a 9.6v. Loving it already. I have a 120 spring and 30k motor ready to go once I decide to go 11.1v lipo.

"This gun is a pretty good gun i have to say. The ROF is amazing for the price, I have not exactly measured the ROF but just by comparing the sound of this gun the ROF will outmatch others. The FPS is VERY consistent, I have chrono'd it and it shoots around 360FPS with a 1-2 FPS difference. So it might be a bit risky for some CQB users. The length of the rifle is also ideal for CQB but it can be a bit shorter. The internals are also reliable and everything works like a charm!
Pros
Good FPS consistency
Great accuracy
superb internals (overall)
Overall
You get a lot more than what you pay for. Its a good gun!

"For the price, the trigger response is ok and sounds a bit clunky. I pulled out the stock mosfet and installed a Perun, and it is a world of a difference. Definitely did not expect to need a mosfet swap out of the box, $350 and you should not have to do that.
As for the rest of the rifle, externals are solid, gears were shimmed perfectly, motor is snappy on 11.1 w/ the Perun Hybrid.
Compression is so/so but functional.

"Functionally solid and works just fine out of the box but the black coating on the fire selector switch started rubbing off even with light use after about a year.

"Overall I would say this gun is a great way to start your airsofting adventure. For details, specs, and more depth read below.
Pros:
Lightweight
Full metal
Durable
Accurate (for the ranges its designed for; shouldn't expect to hit 300ft out with it stock)
consistent ( using .28g I chrono at .98 joules)
Will take a lipo but that is running the risk of ruining several internal components
Feeds with tons of magazines (elite force epm, krytac mags, valken, MAG, CAA, Classic army, and more I have personally tried and worked)
Takes aftermarket parts fairly well
Cons:
the gearbox is different from the Trident line so it does have differences if your looking to tech that or change anything
The handguard is not true M-Lok (it is off by about 4mm which may not sound like much but is noticeable when mounting)
Front orange tip removal is absolute pain in the butt
Inner barrel and hop unit (on mine) were not seated correctly out of the box
Overall I would recommend this gun for anyone who is looking to start getting serious about airsoft. I used this gun stock for about a year without any issues and I've been playing airsoft close to 10 years now. I did later HPA tap this gun and would highly discourage that as the gearbox on this is not a great HPA compatible gearbox but besides that this is one of the best guns I have ever used. The biggest complaint you'll get from me about this gun is the front handguard not being true to spec.

"Waited to post a review until I've played enough (a year and a half!) to warrant a fair review.
First off this gun is great for anyone looking to get into Airsoft. Coming from a paintball back ground, I knew that buying a cheap gun to start would only end up in disappointment so I did my best to settle on a gun that was reliable and accurate without breaking the bank. This gun has held up without a simple complaint while running 2x
Valken Energy 2 Split 20C 7.4V/1300mAh LiPo Batteries; and has easily run for 12+ hours on just these two batteries.
Pros:
- Full metal construction, is sturdy and well built. Can take a beating.
- Ready to run out of the box, while upgrades can be done to any platform; the Alpha CRB is great out of the box and would not recommend even taking it apart until you absolutely need to!
- Plenty of stock rails and slots to add additional parts or mods to the outside of the gun.
- Price is in a sweet spot between cheap and expensive making it a great starter platform for anyone wanting to get into the sport.
Cons:
- Gun has to bolts that link the upper and lower receiver together, the forward one is stuck in place and I have no idea how to loosen it. Nothing online has been helpful in this, and Krytac's support has yet to respond.
- Weight, while not a deal breaker, this does weigh in close to the real thing and for smaller or younger players this could be too much for them in longer games.
- For this price range I thought that for an AEG it would be a bit quieter than others I have seen/heard on the field but it tends to be quite loud.

"My first airsoft gun and very happy except a little annoyed since it recommended a 9.4v battery and it didn’t fit.. so get a 11.1v battery instead
