"I have purchased this gun for 2 simple reasons. Brand and features. This is the ONLY M9 I can find that has a realistic decocking when using the safety. Put on the safety and the trigger no longer functions to pull the hammer and releases the hammer without firing the gun. The weight is dead on, the gas usage is normal. A full mag and no more. The recoil is typical for a metal GBB. The brand is well known for making quality items and this is no different. The hopup is a bit differnt with a sleeve that is at the end of the outer barrel and a specialty key to adjust, but I can actually adjust it with my finger tips, so field changes are possible. The price tag is high, but it's worth it if you want accuracy, dependability and realism. Looking for a quality GBB, look no further.

"The gun is good and heavy and lies well in the hand.

One item very much worth noting is that the gun is listed as 325 FPS and then 325+. This gun, with generic green gas, shoots at 363-365 FPS.

"I’ll keep it short. I was impressed with the build and feel. No wobble or rattle. Tight fit. Mag looks and fits good. You can easily sand the outer barrel as it’s plastic or paint over if you wish. Don’t use acetone it eats away at the barrel.
Fits real Beretta grips like a glove. Put on hogues and they fit and feel great. Mag holds gas well and easily get a full mag off. Shoots pretty hard and loud for a gas pistol. Seems to shoot pretty accurate. I’ve owned 3 M9’s and this one is my favorite.

Only CONS for me. No threaded outer barrel option. Doesn’t use CO2 like the KJW.

So far I really like it.

"PS I just got this and it was all black. Not white writing. Thank God. But it still has KWA M9 PTP engraved just blacked out. And 6mm cal. But it’s barely noticeable. That’s on left side. Right side is blank. Under the frame it’s engraved made in Taiwan I think. Barely noticeable at all. And I’m picky about that kinda stuff. So newer version should be all black.

"I picked up the M9 PTP sort of by accident. I actually ordered a different pistol but that one was out of stock so I decided to give this a try as I was also considering it. Glad I did. I also own a KJW M9 (actually 2). The KWA has a tighter build. Barely any wobble at all. Mag sits smooth/flush. I was able to put real steel M9 Beretta hogue grips on and it fits 97% perfect. The bottoms are maybe 1-2mm longer so they slightly overhang but it’s minimal and I am OCD and it doesn’t even bother me a bit. Looks good. Feels good (especially with the Beretta grips). The outer barrel is plastic but it doesn’t really matter. Looks fine. Though so not use acetone on the tip as it will eat away at the black and misshape it. I was careful and fast and it acted quick so I rinsed it and dried it. Ended up just painting it and looks fine.
The metal may not be the best though. Not saying it feels cheap. But the KJ feels more. Solid. KWA I think has thinner/lighter metal and may wear but. The build is so good that I prefer it to the KJ for now. But KWA only uses green gas. KJ can use CO2 or gas.
Shooting. The mag works well. Hold gas well. Can fire solid 30 shots and they hit pretty hard for a gas pistol. Functional decocker is actually really nice.
Overall it’s a great M9 and worth it. My only gripe is it only used Gas no CO2 option. And the barrel cannot be fit for an attachment or threaded barrel. But overall it’s a fun pistol and shoots well. ——- but I have only used it a handful of times so I will need to give it the rest of time to make a full assessment.

"Okay, can anyone help me with the gas mag? It broke after my 2nd time shooting it, I think it was probably my fault though. While it worked it was a GREAT gbb pistol would definitely recommend!

"Pro: Good weight, nice blow back action, easy to adjust hop-up, single/double action, de-cocker.

Cons: Rear sight isn't adjustable, a little difficult to put the upper slide back in. A small metal piece broke off, i dont know where it came from but it still fires well.

"This is a very nice gas pistol. I do not own one but i've used one as a secondary before. I had a great time with it.

Pros:
High quality metal. I'm not afraid of it snapping like a lot of pot metal guns.
Adjustable hop up is really nice. This means you can use ANY BB's with it becuase unlike set hop ups that over hop light BB's and under hop heavy BB's you can set the hop up on this gun to all BB's.
Good mag capacity
Very nice looks

Cons:
Seems like only KWA mags fit in the gun. Which is kinda a bummer.
I know it says all metal but there is still plastic. It feels lighter to me than my HFC Metal M9. Not sure what the deal is, but i wasn't a fan.
Cost

All in all, it's a great gun. The only reason i give it a 4/5 is becuase it didn't feel as solid as my HFC and it was like $75 more. Nearly double the price.
