"this is a very good gun!!! get it it is well worth the money this does not come with a stick type batterie though, it comes with a small 8.4 that goes in the stock it has awsome rang and i can hit a person at 200 feet but i suggest you use .25 grem bbs it is full metal and real wood, has a nice bloowback, and is reliable

"I have had this gun for a few years now. It is a good gun. However not without some minor issues. Without upgrades the gun shoots quite well. Fun blowback sound, accuracy and range is good. I put a two point sling on it and the back sling loop eventually broke and removed itself preventing the use of slings altogether. The wooden furniture for a low price was nice. But my luck ran out further as bbs would dent into the wood and even get a chip on the pistol grip leaving it loose. I bought the wrong size pistol grip since I wasn't sure to know the correct size. So I still need to buy another one. The wooden pistol grip is slick and the walls are pretty thin as it houses the motor and not grippy which also fatigues the hand quicker, I really wish that came polymer.
Nice simple Ak47 replica though

"This is a great gun, but I have had a couple flaws with it over time. My sling mount on the receiver broke and came off after 6 months. I have had the grip get shot and chip a piece of wood and it's less secure now and it's not the best pistol grip as wood. I planning on changing out a polymer grip if i can figure sizing out.
But awesome gun, shoots great! Ebb is slick and sounds good. Stock gun has good hop for consistent shooting only wish it could side mount a rail for optics should you want, but its nice as a classic iron sights gun for sure

"I brought this gun sometime in January so for no major issues, just a few minor ones. The wood on the bottom of the barrel had a small crack when I got but not a big deal. I tried using my 7.4lipo it wouldn't pull it,so I'm using 11.1lipo. The screw to adjust the motor seems to be backing out had to tighten twice now and I haven't played a game with it yet. My 1st game with it will be on 3/26 (Shout out to Robinhood airsoft) Will update after. Keep having fun airsoft players C-MAN AIRSOFT

"not terribly impressed. good for what it is. an LCT EBB is obviously worlds worlds better but also up there in price.
the charging handle broke after a week. it's plastic.
wood looks cartoony fakey kine.
the EBB otherwise is neat and makes a distinctive 'CYMA' noise.

"Had this gun for a long time, eventually sold it. Does what it preaches and shoots the fps its rated at. However, the only setback for this gun, is the gears. The gears WILL fail on you after about 10,000 rounds. I have watched a video on youtube about the same issue for a guy doing a review and lo and behold it happened to me. I highly recommend upgrading your gears. Especially if you're upgrading the spring. Otherwise this is a great gun and very durable. Real heavy too, about 8-9 pounds, it will weigh down a bit as you play longer into the day. For cqb, weaker players, or faster pace players this is not what you want look for

"I recently bought this gun and have run it in a few skirmishes as well as a longer op, so here goes.
This is one solid AEG for sure. Body and outer barrel are metal, and the internals are pretty solid overall. The included battery and charger are crap, so do yourself a favor and get a new one. Personally I've got a 9.6 nunchuck battery that works, and when you remove the foam insert in the stock it will fit with a bit of finangling.
So far I've only run into a few problems, all pretty minor.
First issue I had as the wiring in the stock is pretty stiff. If you bend the wiring too far the casing will split, exposing the copper. It's a pretty easy fix with either some electrical tape to wrap it, or using a bit of the liquid electrical tape you can find at Home Depot for about 5 bucks for a good sized bottle of the stuff.
Second issue is the weight. This is a HEAVY AEG. I own a WASR-10/63 and this is heavier than that (haven't weighed them, so it's just based on my feeling about it), even fully loaded up with ammo and optics. I use a one-point sling to carry this, and it digs in after a while. Once I get a vest I can hook into, the weight distribution will probably be better.
Third issue is that MAG midcaps (in particular the Bakelite/Brown mags) do not like to feed in this AEG. Looking at the feed lip on the included magazines vs. the MAG brand midcaps, I can see the stock ones have a small bump on the feed lip, and that may be it, then again it could always be me overloading the magazines and then double feeds causing the magazine to jam, so take this for what it's worth.
Fourth issue is the front sight post is not very adjustable. It might just be mine, but a few other people I've met with this same AK say that it apparently isn't meant to be adjusted. I've tried the included adjustment tool, as well as my real-steel tool, and neither want to work.
Overall, I would recommend this AEG for anyone who likes AKs. The one I own does not come with a side-rail mount, so to mount optics you'll need a Beryl-style mount, or a railed foregrip to mount optics.
Pros:
Full metal receiver/barrel
Real wood stock/foregrip/pistol grip
Solid FPS (Chronos around 375 with .23 bio-d bbs)
Reasonably accurate
Can fit a 9.6 nun-chuck
Blowback function is pretty cool
Cons:
Heavy. If you have a good sling rig, this probably won't be as bad.
It seems like some aftermarket mags don't like to feed
The finish on the wood is really bright, and rubs off pretty easily
The Kalashnikov trade rubs off pretty easily
Blowback function may make it a bit more difficult to get to the GB and replace hop-up/inner barrel.

"Got this gun for Christmas and this gun is amazing! The feel of the real wood in your hands is amazing! the blow-back gives a slight recoil. The 600 round high capacity mag works great, no mis-feeds no problems at all. Now for the pros and cons:
Pros:
real wood
full metal
extremely accurate
377 fps
slight recoil
sling mounts
only 195$
Cons:
heavy
small battery compartment
not very upgradeable externally
selector switch is very tight ( might just be my gun)
stock battery isn't very good ( I suggest getting a 9.6 small type)
trademarks wear off
so far this gun hasn't broken or jammed once, I highly suggest this gun to any airsofter looking for a nice AK-47 to own.
PS: The first one I got jammed and I had to send It back. it seems to working fine now.

"When this rifle came in the mail, I was awed by its construction especially for the price. The first time firing it, it jammed halfway through the hi-cap and wouldnt fire. The culprit turned out to be the blowback operation piston's spring which had bent out of place, a little bend back into a safe non-jamming position proved to have fixed my problem and it now works like a dream. Had the spring issue not happened, however, I would have rated a 5 out of 5. Performance-wise, I have to give it a 5 out of 5. Every shot lines up nearly perfectly and ends up with a tight grouping. The second metal hi-cap magazine was also a pleasant surprise to me as I had ordered a 4 spare mid-caps (also metal :D). When the gun arrives, the pistol-grip handle might be a little loose along with the stock. Remove the screw on the bottom of the pistol-grip, then tighten the two screws on the motor housing, then replace the wooden shell after tightening the screws on the stock (use a stubby phillips).
Pros:
-weight (feels realistic and is satisfying to shoot and reload)
-all wood and metal
-EASY RELOADING (no magazine catch)
-all-metal sights (very solid in comparison to their garbage plastic counterparts)
-powerful
Cons:
-watch out for that blowback operation piston spring (should be on the left side of the reciever when you remove the metal cover)

"Ok lets start.....
pros- full metal, real wood, blowback which is extreamly loud =) feeds well, licensed kalashnikov, cleaning rod comes out (like the real one) good accuracy/fps(485!)
cons- sort of heavy, metal scratches easily, battery hard to get to (have to unscrew the buttplate), battery does not last a long time, chews through ammo very quickly, got a echo 1 drum mag for it but it keeps falling out, jammed on me twice, kalashnikov license washed off with water, and the mag it comes with has to be winded all the time.
summary- besides all these minor cons this is a very nice gun and the best one i have owned (been collecting for five years) do not buy the echo 1 drum mag for this gun though
THANK YOU EVIKE!!!

"So far, the rifle looks nice overall. Let’s start with the box. The box says the kit includes an extra magazine. It does not. The one magazine included, however, is metal and looks really nice like a real stamped AK magazine. The box also has a piece of black electrical tape that covers the statement about including a battery and charger. I guess this kit used to include a battery and charger.
The rifle itself looks okay I guess. The furniture is actual wood and nicely finished. The metal parts are painted a dark gray color and I’m not sure this is very realistic. The sights look better than on my other AK airsoft rifle. The flexible unjamming tool, with the slant cut end, is included. The orange tip is pinned in place with a small roll pin. The sling mounts are on side forward of gas tube and at back of receiver. Some AKs have rear sling mount on bottom of butt stock. This Kalash sling mount set up is comfortable.
Note that this rifle does NOT include an AKM style side mount for optics. Too bad. Also real AK furniture does not fit on airsoft AKs. Speaking of furniture, the battery goes in the butt stock but because of the real wood, you have to remove the two screws from the metal butt plate; you can’t just slide it off like on a plastic stock. The screws are machine thread and the stock has brass threaded inserts. The metal butt plate has a round indentation that I assume simulates a trapdoor.
Have not had chance to shoot this rifle yet, just unbox it and check it over so this is a first impression. I ordered an 8.4 volt nimh battery also, and already had an A26 charger as part of another AK kit I bought from Evike.
I did pop a battery in and can see that the simulated bolt blowback function does work. This rifle does have an adjustable hop up by means of a slide lever that you access by pulling back the charging handle.
if this rifle shoots anything like my other CYMA AK47, it will be pretty decent indeed. With the adjustable hop up, these rifles seem to shoot dead straight at least out to about 25 feet with 0.20 gram 6mm pellets.
Disappointed about the fact that you no longer get a second magazine or battery and charger, but pretty happy about the wood furniture and overall appearance. At a decent sale price, this is a nice rifle and it is a Kalash licensed product so that makes it worth collecting, at least for me.

"I got this gun for Christmas and it look and feels very real. I went out and shot the gun and it only fired about a quarter of the time. But Evike is letting me return my airsoft gun EVEN THOUGH it is almost 1 month over warranty!
PROS: gun feels very real, gun is very tough and can take a beating
CONS: while blowback function looks cool... The person shooting it can't feel it at all.
Over all this is a good gun for most people, but I will take my In store credit they are giving me and buying an m4.

"I really wanted to like this gun. But the gearbox is rubbish. After getting it early in December for Christmas and waiting a couple weeks to use it.
It lasted about... Two minutes. Then the gearbox just jammed up
It's a shame cause it is a beautiful gun.
Only flaw in the design was having to use a Philips head screwdriver to open the back of the stock and remove the battery. The inline fuse and super long wire was really annoying to figure a good way to pack it back in the stock with the battery and replace the plate.
I had to send it for RMA. Maybe a week or so
I got it back. The paperwork said they shimmed the gears....ok.....
Used it for a little longer. Then. It started acting weird whining in full auto. I switched to semi . It acted normal. Then.... Again... The GEARBOX!!.
Uugh they were sold out so I couldn't just get a replacement... And already RMA'd and still it's not working..
It's a shame I had to return it. I liked the wood and metal . But when it doesn't shoot it's just garbage
☹️
Customer service from evike is great. But this gun isn't.
