"to clarify some information on this gun, everything stated above is correct except for the magazine, the capacity is 500, not 300. This gun is exactly the same as the VFC SCAR-L, except for a longer hop-up, air nozzle, flash hider, larger magwell, and larger magazine. this AEG is absolutly phenomenal. the 500 rounds per hi-cap mag means you dont have to reload as often which is great for cqb, and midcaps are available, and still hold more rounds than a conventional M4 midcap. this gun is perfect if you want something you're really familiar with (feels very similar yet more comfortable than an M4 or M16) yet want to stand apart from the M4/M16 crowd.
Pros:
working bolt catch
excelent tan finish
feels extremely sturdy
made of light yet solid materials
full metal
perfectly replicated FN style flash hider and magazine
MK17 markings laser etched into the side of the reciever
INSANE rate of fire on a 9.6v
350fps, perfect for going into cqb or woodland
more versatile and adjustanble than a swiss army knife
breaks down just like a real FN SCAR
cons
sights are a little bit hard to use, front sight shroud is a bit too thick. but who cares you're gonna use an optic with this gun anyway.
limited battery space in the stock, wiring gets in the way
bolt catch doesnt catch when the gun is tilted to the right

"Just got this gun and I must say it looks and feels much better them my AGM scar lite, I shot about 1,000 rounds out of it and it's smooth and has a killer ROF on a 9.6 battery. The barrel is shorter then what I thought it would be it's all good, the wiring is a pain though it's too long and needs to be cut to be less of a pain for the battery to fit snug. Overall great gun for the money sure beats my old AGM scar!!!!

"For clarification, I bought the Scar H SSR, in black.
My first impression of this gun was wow, the externals are top notch, and feel almost identical to the real one, which I’ve shot as well. The internals leave much to be desired though. My friend has a cyber gun Scar L, and we found too many similarities for a gun less than half the price of mine. The wiring sucks too, it feels like I’ll break it just moving it, it’s not deans either. I’ll give it credit though, it does what I needs too, just I wish it was better considering the price of the gun. I should also mention the charging handle is cool, but is kinda flimsy. But a really good thing on this gun is the amount of rail space, you can basically put whatever you want wherever you want. Overall the externals are 5 stars and the internals are 3 stars, so I’ll settle with 4 stars.

"Fantastic fantastic fantastic! I used this thing for a very long time before having any issues, and those issues tended to come back to user error. After 3 years of constant use, it has surpassed the rest of my collection for ease of modification, replacement and upgrades, and raw feel.
Pros:
- High customization with extensions, custom additions, and mags (and magpul straps)
- Durable metal receiver and gearbox
- Has some weight and presence so you won't absentmindedly hit it on anything when moving
- Fantastic design and scale looking quite real to the original firearm
Cons:
- Battery wiring is outdated and can cause quick wear when fired full auto (easily replaced)
- Folding stock tends to pop out if shouldered too roughly
- Doesn't fire too long of ranges while using .2 bbs

"I like the gun almost everything about it is fantastic. The stock barrel shoot very good. I have 2 complaints and both are getting replaced with upgrades. First is the motor, it is not good to the point I can eadily get it to not cycle a shot when I pull the trigger on full auto in a consistent way and I don't like the trigger response of it. The trigger response is worse to me than other aegs I own.. The second is the fuse for the gun sits in the extremely small battery compartment that is typical of a scar litterally making it a hassle for me to even get my 7.4v lipo in it. So I am replacing the motor as well as putting a titan gate in it to solve both my problens.

"Here's my second review on this gun after my experiences with it in battle, and disassembly. The gun is not difficult to disassemble it's 3 outer components. You pop out the main body pin to remove lower receiver from the upper. The included gas valve tool is very useful, you can remove the hopup adjustment tool cap on it to reveal a torx bit. You use this to unscrew 6 torx screws on the upper reciever and then you can take off your outer barrel assembly which has your hopup, inner barrel, lower rail, and front sight attached to it. There's 2 very small #1 Allen screws in the sides to secure the hopup unit. From there you can replace outer barrel and hopup. I highly recommend upgrading the hopup unit in this thing, the standard v2 hopups are just crap. There's a nice hopup unit designed for this gun and the SCAR-L made by MAXX which works AWESOME. The motor grip is any old m4 grip except this one is made specifically for the SCAR, the platform for where the screws sit on is lifted. Other m4 grips will unfortunately not work with this. I recommend upgrading the motor, the one included is just a stock motor. In the gearbox you get standard v2 parts, the one part I was disappointed about was the Piston, fully polycarbonate except it only has 1 metal tooth. I tried putting a flat trigger in this but it just seemed too large for the safety latch. I haven't bothered to try any other triggers but I would just stick to the original one it comes with unless you're super into gearboxes and know a whole lot more than I do. The only thing I absolutely hate about the disassembly is getting the select fire switch gears aligned with the selector plate on the gearbox. It is ambidextrous which makes it a whole lot more difficult. It is a pain in the rear, if you decide to upgrade the gearbox, I suggest looking up a YouTube video on how to get the select fire switch gear aligned correctly, there will only be videos on the SCAR-L but it's the same exact process as the SCAR-H. Another thing is the sling point on the left side of the gun, you will either need a skinny clip to get through it or have to attack a keychain loop of some sorts because the sling point is right next to the stock and it interferes a bit with putting a sling through it just putting that out there. Overall i had a good experience taking down this bad boy and upgrading it. I give 4 stars because of the difficult fire selector gear alignment.

"Pros: The best and most accurate scar externally on the market.
Cons: piston sucks, hopup is complete and utter crap (replace with the MAXX model hop up and R-hopped barrel)

"its pretty decent for a starter but i had to send mine back cause the select fire receiver broke and it was missing screws on the bolt but other than that its amazing.

"THIS is the best scar h you can buy , so much so that I've had three of them.
the build quality is what you'd expect from vfc ,but the internals are nothing special as what you'd also expect from VFC
pros ;
great external build quality with a really nice finish aswell as having for the most part correct markings and being a 1-1 scale replica
cons;
its VFC so don't expect anything but average performance from their standard v2 gearbox BUT
with a few upgrades it can be a beast DMR
also mines came with a very wobbly gas block so that's a major negative as its really really annoying

"I still love this gun, but there are many problems I have had with mine. Some minor issues like the wiring making it hard to get the battery to fit but I got the fuse rewired through the bottom part of the stock which helps give it more room. My other issue that is a bit more major is for some reason, I get around 320 fps, which is quite low and the guns range isn't as good as I'd hope for relatively expensive gun. My big problem though is how the battery is connected to the gun. Because it's a folding stock, rather than have wiring through it its connected with two metal pieces, and that makes it so on my gun at least it will have connection issues and quite frequently make perfectly good batteries seem like there about to die before it stops working. I plan on getting it fixed again hopefully, and I really do like this gun, I just cant recommend it unless you really want a scar H because even with these problems it's such a beautiful gun, the externals are the best you can get for a scar. All in all I wouldn't recommend it unless you co sided the possible issues and want it anyway.

"Very good gun overall.
I've had it for little under a week now so I guess it's time to just list some pros and cons:
Pros:
-Thing is built like a tank, VFC is known for their amazing externals and this gun is no exception, don't let the polymer lower fool you, the polymer reminds me somewhat of the material of Magpul products.
-This thing has some heft to it and you can tell the build quality just by the weight, this can be a con for others but this is not a problem for me, if you're a smaller dude I could see where this would be a problem for you.
-This thing is filled to the brim with features, just like its real steel counterpart:
-The stock had so much adjustability (this makes it one of my all time favorite rifle stocks), adjustable check riser, telescoping stock with six positions, and it folds.
-The bolt locks back when pull to adjust your hopup without any hassle and makes the most satisfying sound ever when released with the bolt release.
-Ambidextrous fire selector, magazine catch, and charging handle.
-Performance, while I agree this rifle's stock internals are nowhere near the quality of stock internals of let's say a Krytac, they will get the job done until you're ready to upgrade.
Cons:
-Probably the biggest con for me is the wiring, the stock wiring is honestly poop.
-Doesn't come with a midcap. Yes, I know just about every stock gun comes with a highcap, but there is no reason to have it shipped with a highcap over a midcap when no one uses highcaps. I think we should end highcaps all together except of course for LMGs etc., probably the only reason they still send guns with highcaps is just to make the customer spend extra $ on midcaps. This is just my opinion so it may not matter to you or even be a pro.
-Stock pin part can come loose easily. There's this very tiny part that keeps the actual pin keeping the buttplate on in the the stock, if this falls out then your pin can come all the way out of the stock. Personally my pin stays just fine in the stock without the part and it actually makes the removal of the buttplate easier for me but again, this can be a con for others.
Overall this fun is fantastic, the externals blow me away bit even though the internals will get the job done until you're ready to upgrade, I think they could be a little better. Personally I'm just going to run this thing until the internals break and then PolarStar it. I give it a 4/5, for some minor cons.

"If you are planning on buying this amazing gun just do your self a favor and don't go by what's recommend on this page with its battery type! Just go with a small type instead of a butterfly !

"over all just a great air-soft gun, the stock feels sturdy the stock release button seems to have been changer to be made of metal the weight is relatively low, has a nice rof and fps the high cap is perfect and the gun is pretty accurate
