"I had this gun for a month now, it’s a good gun would recommend, but keep in mind sometimes it has misfires, would recommend Semi shooting, don’t auto shoot a lot but it kinda beats the purpose on buying this. Btw it’s has a little weight. 9 lbs not that’s hard you will be fine. Lol

"This weapon really comes down to whether or not you prefer bull-pup style. (Ammo magazine seated behind trigger assembly for longer inner barrel). In the overall air-soft world, the bull-pup style doesn't increase the range as it does with a real weapon.
However, that being said, I've fired this gun side by side with a bison AK variance SMG and with other M4s. It's distance is comparable to all the other weapons I fired. The gun is very accurate as well.
Pros:
Well built. It's a metal / high dense ABS plastic mix and is a very sturdy gun.
Good range and decent fire rate. I recommend a small 7.4 lipo battery for a slightly better fire rate vs the standard 8.4 nimah battery.
Speaking of which, mine did come with a 8.4 nimah battery as well as a charger. So that was a welcomed surprise evike didn't include in the weapon description. So you can play right out of the box!
The integrated scope is very nice and well built.
The weapon does come with two attached hooks for a gun sling.
The high cap magazine that came with this gun feeds relatively well.
The fore grip is a nice attachment and allows you to be very mobile with this weapon.
The two touch action trigger is very nice. It's pretty responsive and it's so nice not having to toggle between semi and full auto. I would say this is one of the biggest perks of this weapon.
Cons:
No rails, you'll have to tap them yourself if you want to customize this gun at all.
The rubber stock is annoying trying to put on once you install your battery, a little easier with the lipo.
The fore grip that comes on the gun is a little wobbly but it does it's job.
Don't go in believing you can snipe with this gun. Again it can shoot as far as it's counter parts as in M4s and AKs, however, the bull-pup design doesn't give this gun anymore of an advantage for distance as you might think it should.
Extras:
Buy any spare magazines from here. I bought one from amazon, it feed terrible. I bought a third from here. It is as good as the original.
This gun shoots best with .25-.30 bbs. (better accuracy).
Lipo vs. 8.4 nimah battery, lipo does marginally help fire rate and easier to install.
If you want to actually be able to use the scope on this gun, buy lean safety goggles that rest close to your eyes. If you get a paint ball mask, or any full face masks, you will not be able to use the site.
All around, a very sturdy, solid bare bones gun. If all you want is the scope and fore grip no additional modding needed. If you want a different scope or extras like a laser sight, i would look for a different variance with built in rails. This was my first weapon and I am overall very pleased with it.

"So far, so good. Only had it a few days, but we did go airsofting with it yesterday. My son used the AUG and he thought it was decent. It said it was accurate, ROF was good. The dual stage (semi/full auto) trigger really helped too.
Weight-wise, it's a bullpup. All the weight is at the back of the gun - and that may or may not be your thing.
Build-wise, it looks good. The plastics look and feel good - and the metal pieces look well made. The integrated scope works nicely.
The only negative i can think of is the rubber butt pad is a PITA to take off and put on.
All in all, it's fun, good looking, attention-seeking bullpup - and definitely worth a try.

"First thing, the advertised fps is innacurate. The manual says 328 fps and this is more accurate. That being said it has good range for the low velocity. The built in scope is great, crystal clear and fully adjustable. I have it zeroed in perfectly. The foregrip has significant play but if pulled toward you it is solid, or you can fold it flat which I usually do. The flash hider is thin plastic and can break easilly. The battery space is very tight but with a simple mod I put a 9.6v butterfly in it. Minus the spring the internals are impressive for the price. 7mm steel bushings, metal spring guide, double o-ring on cylinder head and great compression. The inner barrel needed a good cleaning and the grease used on the gears was some orange sticky gunk. It comes with an 8.4v small type battery and a high cap mag which is good for testing the gun out. The mag is low quality; the coil broke after running 900 rounds through it. Not a beginners gun but great for upgrading.

"This gun is not made for forest combat! This is a cqb gun. The main body is sturdy but when it comes to the little pin that holds in the barrel, it gets shot off really fast. The little gadgets in the front that make the barrel area look cool, come off really easily. This is a great starter gun. I've had this gun for almost 6 months and it has done it's duty well.
PROS:
1. Good quality gun
2. Good for cqb.
3. Sturdy on the outside.
4. Good gearbox, haven't had a problem with it yet.
5. Looks great!
6. Great gun to start with for airsoft.
7. Feels mostly solid.
CONS:
1. Not good for forest gameplay
2. Evike false advertised the fps on this gun. (Mine shoots 310-315fps)
3. The pin that holds in the barrel gets can get shot off very easily.
4. Grip is a bit wobbly, but not that big of an issue.
5. Because it's polymer (high quality) scratches are common.

"All around it is a great gun. Easy to adjust hop up and nice acuacy and range with the battery it came with. Only two problems is that the safety sticks sometimes and the butt end off my gun were the battery is placed fell off in my first day of using it. Not held on that well and made out of some type of hard rubber. Overall great gun.

CONS:

"when i got he gun it was AMAZING it shot well went far and the scope was good but after i fired it the first time it was all downhill my barrel slid right off of my gun so i have to wait a couple of weeks so my gun will be fixed i give it a 4 out of 5

"It's a pretty solid all around contender, the only problem I suffered from was the outer barrel falling off around 3 days and a couple hundred rounds of shooting. It weighs 3200g with an empty mag, and is easily to wield with a single hand for me. Fore grip feels a little lose though. Mag fit's in nice, and the trigger is a bit stiff at first. If you do buy this gun, handle it with care because I don't know what other issues it might be prone too.

"a awesome gun! when i got it out of the box it was shooting 300+ fps but only bad thing was is to be careful when your putting the barrel back in you will break your gearbox's high pressure nozzle. and buy another clip you will need it later because the first one will break.

"Ok let me start by saying this, the AUG should stand for awesome understated gun, but it has its issues.
The first one I had came in and looked like it was droped out of an airplane (ups fault) the second one I had gotten which i still have is fine as wine and with a Matrix Tenergy High Output 9.6V 2300mAh Ni-MH Custom Type Battery and about 8 hicaps thi thing spits out bbs. now other augs have been known to break so make sure you keep good care of this rifle for a longer life.
WARNING WHEN REMOVING THE BARREL BE VERY CAUTIOUS THE HOP UP WHEEL CAN SNAP OFF WITH VERY LITTLE FORCE IT HAPPEND TWICE! but i can still use the hop up i just have to stick it on and gently put it back in the gun but even then everytime i take out the barrel i will have to catch some loose pices.
Now the cons and pros
pros:
bullpup (about the size of and m4)
built in optics
rate of fire is great(with the battery listed above)
easy to take apart
lefty friendly
lots of modifications avalible
trademarks
loud(could be a con)
tough metal and plastic( I dont recomend testing it too much)
threaded barrel
mags are in great supply
and more and more brands are building augs so theres most likly going to be more upgrades in the future
cons:
fragile hop up wheel (its the end cap holding it on)
weak plastic front grip(i dont trust it because its not polymer)
small battery space ( you will have to jerry rig the bettery listed above)
knowing that eventually it will break down( a fact you will have come accept with augs)
no rails( not a con for me but for some it is)
price
This gun is a great one i have had problems with it so i will give it a 4/5 simply because of the issues ive had with the barrel. Other than that I am very satisfied with this product. The price is high but thats because its new on the market. it has a great feel in my hands and a nice wieght.
I recomend this gun to people who are expirienced and ready to monitor their guns condition, to all you new people buy it after you know how to maintain airsoftguns.

"I got this gun for my birthday. At first I was so excited because the AUG is my favorite gun. BUT I am pretty sure I got a lemon. The mag loosely fits in the magazine well, causing major feeding issues, I half fixed it by adding tape around the sides of the mag to increase thickness. The screw that holds the bolt together never came with the gun, and the 2 plastic pieces on the bolt broke off. I fixed this by buying a screw for it. lastly, It is crazily inaccurate. I couldn't hit my friend from 30ft away, but other than those things I love this gun, I might just buy replacement parts to upgrade it.

"You can tell this is a cheap gun. The spring clicks every time the trigger is pulled, bolt is pulled back, or bumped.
by Karl E. on 03/05/2019
"I’ve been having problems with BBS being fed into the gun. Idk if it’s the magazine or the gun itself. I have to crank the magazine every shot so that the gun misfires.

"I like the aug a1 design which is why I bought this gun. I got it for $150 and think it should be priced at $135 based on performance.
Pros: 7mm steel bushings in sturdy gearbox.
Steel spring guide and gears.
Metal front assembly and strong polymer stock with rubber butt pad.
Very clear fully adjustable scope with crosshairs.
Good air compression in gearbox.
Cons: very weak single pitch spring attached to piston head.
1/2 stroke ported piston paired with a 509mm inner barrel.
Very thick, sticky orange grease on poorly shimmed gears.
Small battery space, only 8.4 mini will fit.
Poorly constructed hi-cap mag; loose in reciever, feeds poorly and the coil snapped.
Foregrip is wobbly.
Barely fires over 300 fps.
Poorly designed bucking. Mound is off-center and puts little back spin even with hop adjusted fully up.
All these issues can be fixed and I have besides the foregrip. Definitely not a good starter gun but a great
Project gun if you like the aug platform. I feel it is overpriced at full retail.
