"Ok, so I want to start this out by saying that this gun is pretty great. It shoots fast, hits hard, and will get the job done. A great thing I noticed was that you basically can't break it. I've dropped this thing, slammed it around, and slammed so many mags into it that I've lost count. It will take a beating better than almost any other gun, but the paint does scratch. I did have a few big issues with this that prevented me from giving 5 stars, but they were just a hassle, nothing permanent. The first of these was the flash hider. I know some people say you can get it off, others disagree. I can completely guarantee you that you it comes off, but I can also completely guarantee that it sucked. I suggest taking off the end of the outer barrel and doing it from there. I personally used a hair dryer, a couple of wrenches and clamps, and eventually a hacksaw, but it does come off and there are threads underneath. A second issue that I've had is that this thing is pretty picky with mags. Many mags just won't stay in, and for the ones that do you have to really slam most of them in. I use Hexmags and Amoebas and they work perfectly, but just make sure before you buy your mags. Finally, the hopup in this gun is crap (or it was for me). When I got this thing, I loaded a mag with .25 gram Elite Force BBs and took it out to my backyard to shoot. The BBs started to curve up after about 20 feet, so I tuned the hopup all the way down. This was still the case, and I didn't have any heavier BBs, so my accuracy was virtually nonexistent for the first while that I used it. One game, I noticed that the Hopup was too little, so I turned it up. By the end of the game I had turned it all the way up and my BBs were still dropping. This thing gave me hell until I finally replaced it, and I'm glad I did. One other little thing I had an issue with was the really sharp RIS, but thst was easily fixable with some rail covers. My two last gripes with this gun go hand in hand in a bad way; This gun is HEAVY out of the box, and it doesn't come with a one-point sling mount. When you add a sight, foregrip, and a light/laser (if thats your thing), this thing gets to be around 10 pounds, which is crazy if you can't use a sling. This was annoying, but it's easy to fix with a sling point and fewer attachments.

Overall, the M27 is a really solid gun with a little TLC, but if you don't have an extra 70 bucks lying around after you buy it, it just may give you hell.

"Great little rifle. It is a little bit picky with the mags it will fit as it will not take any PMAG type mags at all. That is consistent with the real IAR though. It performs amazing. I have had it for about a month now and have used it in two ops. Must have gotten 25 kills with it yesterday.
