Echo1 General Assault Tool (GAT) Airsoft AEG Sub Machine Gun (Color: Gold)

"I got my GAT, and had some problems, had to send it back for repair. It was 100 fps lower than stated and was double feeding every few shots. They repaired my gun and said it was only the bucking being dirty (on a new gun?) I think there was a small tear which caused loss of fps.

The hop up is just okay on this, even with it off all the way, the gun still curves high after 75-85 feet. I might need to put a new bucking and nub inside, I can't tell how far it shoots because the bb's curve so much they vanish in the air.

Pros
ROF is insane, this gun is the fastest stock gun I own that shoots this fast.

Cons
Hop up sucks, even with the unit off the gun still curves which requires you to aim down to hit targets past 75 feet.

"Good gun when it works
I have had this gun for a couple months now but I have been plagued with problems.

PRO's
The range is on par with rifle aegs because of the pre upgraded bucking
It is lipo ready but I usually just use the stock 8.4 battery because its hard to find batteries to fit.
Metal upper receiver and 2 x 250 round hicaps included

CON's
The battery compartment is utter garbage. This compartment feels like an ill conceived idea. In no way shape or form does the battery compartment feel like a completed gun. They could have easily made the battery to fit into the upper receiver.
The gun is HARD to upgrade because of the strange/custom gearbox.
Barrel is a little short so accuracy is not the best
FPS is lacking for outdoor games.
DOES NOT WORK IN THE COLD
I was outside and tried to fire this gun once and the gearbox instantly locked up. Ill have you know that the weather was a little under freezing but AEGS can handle the cold so theres no reason for the gun to lock up.
Magazines are high quality but the loading doors are hard to open and they are a little weird in the gun. They will no free fall out the bottom of the gun you literally have to yank them out when pressing the mag release.

This gun feels like a prototype and for 160$ I would go with a different sub machine gun because there are better alternatives.

"I wanted to like this gun but it is complete crap it came out the box not working so i tried ro get ahold of echo 1 / jag arms by email facebook and phone nobody ever responded after weeks of trying to get them to honor their weranty i just paid for repairs through evike month later i get it back it works ok for one week the. In the middle of game it starts firing and wont atop even with my finger off the trigger so i send it into evike pay for more repairs it takes two months i finally get it back it works for one stinking week them guess what its stuck in full auto wont one shot at a time so its bck to evike for repairs. This gun is the worst product i hve ever spent money please do not waste money on this YOU WILL REGRET THIS PURCHASE
