"The FN2000 is so much fun. I was looking to get away from the traditional M4/AK platforms and bullpup was the way to go. After reading many reviews between the ares tar21 and this g&g fn2000 it was an easy decision to get the fn2000 and i'm glad i did. This gun is a BEAST!
Pros:
-Great ROF, roughly 15-16 bps with a 9.6v and a 350 fps spring
-Spring changing in 30 secs as well as the power to adjust
-Gearbox is solid with great parts
-Crazy accurate out of the box
-Easy disassembly and reassembly to change inner barrel.
-Very managable weight
-Very Comfortable to shoulder
-Awesome sights with a long full length rail for a sight anywhere you'd like
-Truly Ambidextrious
-Shorter than your average M4 but has a longer barrel = win.
*the newer version has full metal sling rings on the front
"Not really" Cons:
-Need a rail riser or taller scope rings if you're gonna use a sight with a full face mask.
-The sling mount holes in the back require a little creativity to get to work
-Can be a little weird to wind up high caps being this is a bullpup, but i use flashmags so no biggie (also recommend for any player/gun)
Cons:
-Had to go in and tech the gun a bit to get it to stop locking on me. VERY EASY FIX. Just sand the grey lever on the side from / \ to /\
-The construction of the battery compartment is a little bit awkward, you can take out some unecessary plastic to fit a larger battery though
- The fuse is also located in a hard to reach spot and requires the removal of a back plate (two screws) to get to, not that you'll be changing your fuse all that often. But, if G&G just extended that wiring a little more it'd make more sense.
Evike is super awesome and always offer HUGE discounts on their already discounted prices so this gun is definitely a bargain. This gun gets a 9.8/10 rating. All in all, this gun is worth every penny and i recommend it to anyone who's looking for a new gun.

"This is the BEST Airsoft Weapon I have ever had in my entire life. I bought a Hunter Version , but I still want to tell everyone how good this is. I cannot put this down, it is so cool! Anyway, Pros come first then Cons
Pros:
-Very Comfortable, especially the Butt Pad
-Awesome sights
-Ambidextrious
-is like a P90 and a AUG put together
-pulling the bolt sounds cool
-material is sturdy
-Nice and SHORT (on the butt pad straight up, the barrel doesn't even reach the middle of my pocket)
Cons:
-Rubber Butt Pad comes off very easily
-On mine, Semi sometimes screws up
-Pretty bulky, compared to an AK, the AK is longer, but looks like a stick compared to the F2000
-Front sling mountnot made of good material
-Whe pressing the button to disassemble, it was kinda hard for me

"I don't like put up pros and cons of this and that i.e., the gun is amazing; so instead, I'll just put down my own experiences.
First off, this gun THE BEST gun for clearing rooms. Do the research; the FN2000 and TAR21 are both designed to make cornering quicker in CQB situations.
However, this is not a good "firing from cover" gun. When you put this gun in its firing position up against your shoulder, the firing position that is formed is very "static"; meaning, there is no freedom to move the butt of the gun away from your shoulder when say....firing from cover. One reason for this is the gun is very very thick. Compared to your average M14, SCAR, G36, or even the TAR 21, this gun is very very thick and bulky. This is great in a CQB situation - i love it - but good luck holding it up like a G36C or an M14 and peaking over coverage to shoot in a woodland type setting.
The other thing I didn't like about this was loading this gun in prone position. Its tough and funny to watch. It is much easier to load say a SCAR or M14 from the prone position - try it while .25s are screaming over your head.
Anyway, there is one known issue with this gun. The issue with most all of the G&G FN2000 guns (u can look this up on youtube) is that the motor moves back a bit while firing the gun and when this happens the motor dislodges itself from the internal trigger by just a few millimeters. This is permanently fixed by securing the motor a bit more than what G&G did (they didn't do anything extra). What I did was insert a small piece of THICK adhesive foam padding inside the butt of the rear stock (between the motor and the butt plate. This helps absorb the motor movement from moving back. The fix looks and works 100% awesome.
I highly recommend a tight bore barrel and the real steel FHN FN2000 3 point harness. The harness is a must with this gun. The harness made for the real steel fits like a glove and doesn't comprise the internals and all.
I love this gun. But to me, it isn't for every situation (like most guns).

"This gun is amazing...i just got it today and i just loved it and how they put a 8mm gearbox in there so it can pull stronger springs. The mag fits perfectly inside and its very comfortable to hold. It has SUPERB accuracy especially since i got a tigh inner bore barrel with it...i really loved the changeable FPS. That was a nice touch and so is the bullpup design(i personally think bull pup design is more effecient and they look cool). I also love how they made it with polymer to make it lighter so smaller ones can wield it and how easy it is to change barrels....took me about 10 seconds. Overall this gun is Great for CQB and for fields. Overall this gun is 10/10 so i recommend this gun for anyone who loves bullpup design weapons and want to get away from Aks and m4/m16s.SO GET THIS GUN NOW!!!!
Pros
-Great accuracy
-Good fps for Cqb And outside
-Nice feel
-Light
-Easy to put in and take out battery
Cons
-Gearbox is a little hard to get to it if you are inexpierenced and might lose a spring but thats pretty much it...not really a big con but for me it is

"Hey guys I just got it in and holy crap this rifle feels amazing the plastic is as good as you can get the metal mag and parts on the body are fantastic. For me it's a little heavy I'm thirteen and I'm pretty little I guess or just the people around me are big. Still it's my first and I've done tons of time researching this.
The upper receiver come off like a charm so I can put a tight bore barrel in and the hop up is really easy to use. You can easily make this a sniper or cqb rifle because of it's size.
Pros
Not a big gun
Quality materials used to make it
Adjustible fps
A lot more pros that will go on for a long time
Cons
Heavy(7lb.)
None others

"This gun is great. Out of the box it is ready to go, and it performs very well. I brought it to a game yesterday, and I was picking some guys off pretty easily at around 150'. Didn't have any problems with the gun the whole time, but the back plate did come off once. With the fps cranked up all the way I chrono'd it at around 310-320 with .25s which I thought was a little bit low, but it worked well anyway.

"Solid gun G&G made. It looks funny but its bullpup(short overall length), takes m4 mags and barrel, and its accurate. I'm putting a 590mm barrel and a scope on my gun because the nylon polymer(better than ABS) makes it quiet enough for a sniper. Fired about 2000 rounds or so and no problems so far. Well worth the price. Also my gun shot hot out of the box at 460 fps so that was unexpected.

"great gun all around! no complaints!
I give it a 9/10!
pros:
adjustable FPS
incredible accuracy
great RoF
very very comfortable
lightweight
great internals and externals
very user-friendly
cons:
the only one I have is that there is only a top rail, no side rails but that's it!!!
it's a MUST have for anyone who loves the FN2000!!
a GREAT gun for any serious airsoft player and for those CoD fanatics!
now I do have 1 question.
webmaster: is there any way to purchase the top optic alone?
I bought this gun, not the hunter version, but now I would love to have the top optic that comes with the hunter version.

"i got this gun last week and i was immediately impressed. the boxing is kinda lame, just a weak plastic mold. the gun is realistic in every aspect. from the stock to barrel and everything above, the barel comes out in 10 seconds, amazingly easy to swap in field. i took the gun to an indoor CQb arena and that is its environment. it has the most comfortable, tight and close hold and its so perfect to quickly sweep corners. very accurate and the adjustable FPS is an awesome addition. all in all i believe this is the best CQB gun out there

"If you are looking for a "unique" rifle to carry with you, this is it. I used mine this past Saturday at an outdoor field in Santa Clarita, CA. I threw in an 11.1 Li-Po and I must say, this thing SPRAYED. Sadly I blew the fuse so I had to bypass it, but it worked for a 6 hour day of gaming. Like any other AEG it's accuracy is not dead on past 100 feet, but before that mark it has superb grouping. It chronoed at 402, 403, and 408 with .20's. CSI, KWA, and of course G&G mags fed perfectly, no issues at all with feeding. My only problem is fitting a sling for it, however that aside it is worth every penny spent.

"I just want to add the information that this gun only supports hi-capa magazins, because there is a littel metal piece which blocks mid and low cap magazines because they haven't that charging hole.
Something else abaout the gun:
+Its a really strong built gun
+Adjustable fps
+Long rail
+Long inner barrel for a short gun
+Easy to disassembel
-The rubber thing on the back of the gun does not hold good
-Only hi-capa magazines (or modified mid/low caps)
-For me the gun is to wide to aim comfortable
(- For some people the bullpup design may not be comfortable or not balanced (because the gearbox is in the stock))

"Oh man, G&G has truly outdone themselves on this one. Just got this gun in today, and man this gun is flawless. Its an exact size replica of the real FN2000. G&G did truly beautiful work on designing and creating this gun. Nice realistic feel, center balanced, nice 450 hi cap mag, nice iron sights, just everything is perfect. This is truly a must have gun for anybody. I cried i was so happy about this gun. Oh yea, did I mention the FPS was 370 right out of the box? The bps was atleast 18. The rof is incredible. I also got the holy cow special 2 free mags for 5$ for any G&G purchase. The mags are legit hi cap mags, full metal, and awesome. Thanks EVIKE!!!
In summary, you must have this gun. Anybody that has 360 bucks, this is well worth the buy.

"G&G FN2000
I got this AEG through evike using the 18% off coupon. With that, it became a fair price.
First Impressions:
Out of the box this oar-paddle looking like thing is hefty. I was seriously doubtful on how it will be practical to lug around in the field. It's certainly on the other side of the spectrum in shape and size compared to the slimmer M4, M16, Ak's out there. But this thing is solid. From top to bottom, I'm confident to say it is one of the finest build rifle I have ever held. I was also surprised on how comfortable it is to hold. The balance is one aspect that really shines while wielding this rifle. Target acquisition will be natural and not forced.
Loading and unloading a magazine is solid. The huge mag release is a smart touch. The best part, I have a few PMAG mid cap shorties that fit and feed really well. Why the shorties? G&G 470+ round mags are longer and since I plan to use this rifle as a DMR (occasionally) the short mags offers better comfort while laying prone. The "mod" (filing .25" of the raised section of the magazine) will not affect functionality on other rifle systems using the modded M4 style mag. Excellent!
The charging handle is aesthetically pleasing, in other words- "fly". Fire selector takes a bit of force to select but it's easy to get access to. The two stage trigger mech slides well and offers a good trigger pull that does not feel sticky. But being a 2 stage trigger, expect a longer trigger pull using full auto. Rails: Well it's obvious on the photos it only comes with one long top rail. It's metal and solidly placed on the body with two hex screws. Zero wobble while using my 3-8x45 scope. The front sight is detachable and the rear flip sight is built in. On the front end of the rails are ambidextrous sling loops that are made of steel. The hand grip is thick but comfortable.
I'm keeping a keen eye for a front rail system and or a grenade launcher to make it more pleasing to eye. The curved hand guard just makes this thing look like boat or some kind of ergonomic bath scrub. However it is very comfortable. Butt pad: Does the job really well if you follow the right way to get it off and on. See evike's vid on how it's done. It's the easiest way w/o damaging the rubber. Battery Space: Plentiful, I was able to fit 9.6v small nun-chuck style no problems. Li-Po's are the same.
Rear sling mounts: Okay this is probably the only thing that raises an eye brow. The slits are open and you can see the motor. Hmmm. Why? Instead of taking chances, I used non adhesive camo tape that covers the holes and wraps around the entire stock. A stock sling wide enough to wrap around the stock should also fix this issue. Trademarks: Mine came with them but it is painted on. Through time it will chip away. The photo on the box looks as if it's reversed embossed on the body. Not a big deal for me since on the stock has "6.00mm" stamped. Trades or not, it's still an airsoft rifle.
Variable FPS: Very easy to increase tension and or swap out the spring completely. I tested a m150 spring and your definitely going to want a 11.1 v lipo to pull that beast back. It shoots hard and still able to hold a good rate of fire. Just to be safe I kept the factory spring it came with.
Flash Hider Removal:
The blazing orange flash hider is made out of polymer and is set-screwed in to the barrel. Find the screw located at the bottom. On mine, the screw was so deep that it did not even stick out of the flash hider. The only thing that indicated something is there is some glue covering the set screw. I took a file and filed until a good portion off until the set screw is exposed. I then used a needle nose pliers to get it out. Next get a grip vice pliers and turn the flash hider clockwise. Since it's glued on to the threads it will take some force. But I was able to get if out with out damaging any cosmetics and the outer barrel. I suggest to leave it on if you plan "not" to use other flash hiders or mock suppressors. At least they could have used a FN2000 style flash hider but imo a mock suppressor shrouding a 509mm tbb is great for this rifle.
Performance:
You will be amazed how tight the groupings you can get with the factory inner barrel. Very accurate to say the least. Just for kicks I dumped my 6.01mm 509mm tbb barrel from my M16 in to this rifle and covered it up with a 6" mock suppressor. (it's still shorter than my M16) Perfect for woodland engagements by not having a long barrel getting in the way. 150' using .25's you will hit your target with a decent force. Firing a burst does not spit out wild fliers. A testament to a solid build hop-up unit. Be warned it's not a standard M4-M16 hop-up system. This thing also shoots much quieter than my M4. Maybe the polymer body has a lot to do with it. But it's not loud shooting it. The target down range was making more noise with the bb's hitting it compared to the gearbox. The advantages are obvious for quieter shooting AEG's.
Pros:
- M16-M4 Mags, shorty PMags fit and feed perfectly
- EXCELLENT build quality
- very accurate with stock inner barrel
- variable FPS
- roomy battery compartment
- quiet shooting AEG
Cons:
- Stock to hand-grip measurement might be a little too long of a reach for some people
- Rear sling hoops expose the internals
- Right now, very few accessories available
- Bird cage polycarbonate flash hider that is extremely difficult to remove
- Trademarks are painted on with thin paint
- Some bolts are a little loose and needs to be tighten some. (do not over tighten)
Action report:
It toughed it out through a very muddy day of skirmishes. Using .25's & .20's the FN2000 performed well beyond my expectations. Coupled with my 3-8x45 scope, the range of this AEG is awesome! ZERO jams, misfires and other miscellaneous tech problems. Also no fatigue wielding it. Out of the all the AEG's I own this simply steals the show.

ZERO jams, misfires and other miscellaneous tech problems. Also no fatigue wielding it. Out of the all the AEG's I own this simply steals the show.
