"Just got this last week and it is unbelieveablely good.Really packs a whallop with an excellent ROF.I can 'almost' do away with the spring sniper...almost.The bolt is cool to play with snapping it.This thing is definately heavy so get a good strap and toss the one that comes with it.Great sights and the front rail mounts a dot sight handily for quick access. The Socom version is way wicked looking and a lot easier to handle than a full size version. The magazine has a winding wheel as well as a winding key that really seems to work even better.Would I buy this again?Won't have to it's built like a brick...5 stars all around from me.The wood looks great and makes it look a bit more 'traditional'. When/if it ever starts looking ratty I'll just get out the air brush.

"This is a good rifle. I use it to snipe and mine is upgraded to m140. I use .25s because m140 with .20s will not have the great accurate.

"For the price this is the most amazing airsoft gun on the market. What it lacks in some power it makes up in it's ridiculously high rate of fire and it supurb accuracy. My m14 was shooting farther and straiter then my friends KWA and coming close in the amount of bbs fired per second. I do recomend getting a new battery (I got a 7.2 3300 mah because it was cheaper even though it reduced the rof) and getting a replacement spring. This is also one of the most durable guns I have ever seen because my friend was angry at me, picked up the gun and hit a tree with it, and survived with only some scratches to the body. For only 100 something dollars this is a great buy.

"this gun is great. has great ROF and is totaly worth the price. id recomend getting low cap clips for it cause the clip that comes with it loads horribly after a while. you can get a box of ten king arms clips for like 60 bucks but ya have to slice a little off the clips ta fit them to this m14. overall great gun

"This gun is a great gun... I've shot one off before. I'm a very avid airsoft player who's had almost a hundred different brands, makes, and models run through my hands. This is imitation wood, sorry... echo 1 does a great job making it look real if you thought it was... guess that's a plus around friends and what not.

"is this real wood? it looks like it in the picture.

"if you go over 400 fps on an upgrade i recommend .23 or .25 bbs instead of .20 because you will lose accuracy with .20 and 400 fps so this gun is perfect for .20

"This is a great A.E.G. Just Be Careful With Mag It Breaks Easily! Yet It Has Great Range And Its R.O.F. is insane!

"Hi I was wondering if you could upgrade this gun to 450fps with just putting a new spring in and getting a higher volt battery?

"This is the same M14 socom as the Echo1 M14, exactly the same. A very good M14 for the price. Easy to upgrade and the imitation wood finish is really good. Other than that, it is a flawless m14 AEG for a crazy low price! If you bought a Marui for $400, you will really appreciate the chinese clones.

"I’ve had this gun for four years now and I can say it is a very good. Nothing has started to jiggle, nothing started to break off, and zero issues with the electronics. My only issue is that like most m14s they are very front heavy and this is no exception. As you can see it has a rail mount on the very front for scopes, this is not ideal for the fact how front heavy the gun already is. There is a common phrase out there for m14s and that is “you might as well just attach a cinderblock to the stock to level it out “ keep in mind when you buy this rifle it will last you a while without maintenance, but and make sure that you have a strong non-dominant arm, because it will be heavy.
Pros:
Lasts awhile
Accurate
Solid built quality
Cons
Heavy
Front heavy

"Great heavy feel, could use some accuracy upgrades not too accurate out of the box if you really want the m14 advantage then you will need to upgrade the accuracy for the extra consistent reach

"Pros:
- Very sturdy, lots of metal on it and plastic is very strong
- Trigger feels good and snappy, not like a pushy electronic button one
- Everything nicely clicks into place such as the mags, selector switch and safety
- Mock bolt sounds amazing
- With a 9.6v semi auto is pretty quick, not that windy
(Possible) Cons:
- It is on the heavy side
- Theres a little visible gap at the end of the bolt where you can see clean through the gun
- Because of the way the bolt is this extra part on the right side, the stock is pushed over to center it making the sights more on the left side of the gun (it doesnt look weird though) also the rail tilts to the left slightly, this means its easier for right handed shooters to aim down sights, but harder for lefties.
Overall a great gun, definitely worth it if you're a gun nut whos into real guns, but wouldnt recommend this for a primarily left handed shooter especially if you wear face pro which most people do and should. Also not a great cqb gun because of length and being harder to aim lefty.

"Pros:
Looks awesome, comparable length to M4s. Range and accuracy comparable to CYMAs solid line of AKs.
Very nice externals and construction feels solid. Orange tip is not threaded on and comes off easily.
Cons:
Front heavy, sling difficult to use due to front sling point being on bottom instead of on the side.
Fire selector switch is awkward to turn, charging handle locks back but is creaky and I wouldn't mess with it.
