"2 times my gun wasn't right didn't shoot nor have of it wasn't assembled, but the 3rd gun was good after i disassembled the hop up it worked like it should of, it shoots about 170ft ish, you can make it go farther, but i am using a 4x32 scope and i didn't want the BB to go high, so it could hit 200ft if you know what you are doing, made of metal inside and outside except the nozzle that is plastic, you have your 2 millimeter thick brass Barrel with the 70-degree hop up which is probably the worst type of system I've ever seen but you can make it work other than that Evike customer service was absolutely amazing and replace my gun twice completely free with a free $50 in store credit it took me about 2 months to have the perfect gun but overall it's worth it also with the Evike mid-cap PMAG you can shave down the front to wear to make the magazine fit

"Just received 7" version of this hybrid. First of all, it seemed like everything from the buffer tube lock ring to the smallest allen screw was loose. So much for EMG's quality control. Another obvious nuisance was the stock wobble was (is) very noticeable, along with the very limited battery space inside the buffer tube. A 11.1 /1200 will fit but the wires will protrude out into the stock, so don't adjust too tightly or they will pinch. The finish on the Sharp Bros. lower is striking as is the rest of the steel on this little beast. The sights are almost an afterthought it seem's,something to change along with the plastic flashhider. The provided mag feeds poorly, skipping some shots but does fit the magwell tightly, G&P mags seem to feed much better. This little puppy is loud for an airsoft AEG, almost as loud as some GBBRs. Ares micro controlled gearbox is and has been reliable for me in the past and sold me on this build. No more "plastic" amoeba receivers for me thanks. Hop up is tight but accurate out to 75 feet in a light breeze and the rate of fire with a 11.1 lipo is with in my preference. Great deal for $280, and plenty of room for external upgrades.

"Won this out of the Memorial Day box of awesomeness. Was pretty excited for the price I got it for. Was my first new gun after not playing for over 10 years, and seemed pretty nice. Found the motor was acting up sometimes and found it was a loose wire on the motor. Tighten the connection, good. Found the buffer tube and barrel nut to be pretty loose so the stock and handguard twisted easy, easy fix though if you have a AR wrench (you do have to remove the handguard also) used it for about 6 games or so and most recently was playing and randomly the mag fell out. Put it back in, fell right back out. Then I noticed the mag release is gone. Contacted evike and they said no worries it’s under warranty. Great, I asked if they could just send the mag release for me to install and they said no. Kinda sucks to send it back for it, but atleast it’s under warranty. Still waiting to get it back

Overall, not a bad gun. Nice weight, nice looks, nice performance. But quality control is alittle off. If you get one make sure everything is tight, everything. Otherwise not a bad beginner gun atleast for what I paid.

"The gun is great stock but if you ever wanna upgrade it I would definitely look at getting a different gun the Ares EFCS makes it so hard to upgrade. Like I said the gun is great stock the trigger response is amazing but upgrading it is a huge hassle

"Not super impressed with the overall quality control for a gun of this price.

When you buy this gun make sure you apply Loctite to all of the screws. My son purchased this gun last late year (2016) and has already lost two different screws due them backing out during gameplay.

The buffer tube needed to be replaced as the threads stripped out, while replacing it I discovered that the battery wires were all twisted and caught up/smashed by the buffer tube's threads.

Better step up your game Evike!
