"So far the gun is pretty decent. Metal construction. Decent weight. Mine came with the muzzle over torqued down to it ate the threads on the outer barrel. A little bit of wobble on the stock but not enough to make me hate it. Running an 11.1 lipo on it with an amplifier makes it sound scary as heck. Iron sights are cheap and useless. Recommend swapping them and running another optic.

"Another reviewer here stated it's a great base for a build, and I'll have to agree.
From the front, down:
1. Flash hider, outer barrel, and handguard are all aluminum. Decent, nothing really to complain about. It looks like it takes standard Airsoft barrels as well, which I'll be confirming soon as I want to swap in a shorter barrel/handguard.
2. Body is decent aluminum. Not something I'd say is great, but it's not really bad. The coating is slightly odd, but it's not really noticeable.
3. I strongly dislike their choice to include the fake ambi selector. They should have stuck with the typical selector covers. However, looking at the gearbox, there is a hole and cutout for the VFC-style ambi selector screw/shaft. If I can find a way to attach a gear to the selector itself (perhaps just screwing into it like VFCs normally do?) then I can get functional ambi selectors.
4. There's not bolt catch feature. I won't say this is good or bad. It's only convenient for adjusting the hop. However, they seem to have also cloned the VFC bolt catch screw/post. Maybe I can one to this gun to get a functional bolt catch?
5. Hop is a standard V2 style, but with a proprietary shape to account for AK mag feed locations. So no upgrading the hop chamber...
6. The sling plate is not a correct fit for my gun. Once you loosen the castle nut, it wiggles around. It in itself isn't a huge deal, but it's easy to avoid and it's annoying to keep centered when you're tightening the castle nut.
7. I honestly love the quick change buffer system. I can go from indoor legal to a higher power spring in less than a minute.
8. I am not too happy with the stock space. If you have skinny buffer tube batteries, you may be fine. However, the fuse in there kind of gets in the way...
So now the fun stuff; internals!
Getting the gearbox out is pretty similar to any other M4, the exception being the spring guide.
1. Loosen up the castle nut, rotate the buffer tube, and unscrew the cap to take out the spring/spring guide.
2. Unscrew the motor plate, take out the motor, unscrew the grip.
3. Unscrew the mag release button, push forward on the AK part of the mag paddle to slide the mag release bar out of the gun.
4. Pop out the pin that holds in the gearbox and then pop out the rear receiver pin.
As is somewhat typical in these gearboxes, there was blue grease smeared E V E R Y W H E R E.
Compression________________________
Piston is plastic but with a full metal rack.
Piston and cylinder head are aluminum.
Cylinder is full (at least for my model) and is made of brass.
These pieces give me good compression! The piston head is not entirely flat. It's not convex like the SHS/Lonex "silent" stuff, but instead concave. Not sure why, but it works. If you correct your AoE, it'd be good to either change it or just use the washer method.
The nozzle is some polycarb material. No O-ring. It seems like it's ~0.1mm different in length than some of the standard M4 ones that I have. I plan to swap in an aluminum one with an o-ring, but I ran into an issue which I describe below.
Drivetrain____________________________
Gears look like they were probably OEM'd by SHS. They look exactly like my SHS 13:1 gears. Interestingly though, they are short stroked 3 (?) teeth. This is smart, as it allows people to use stronger springs for indoor use to avoid PME.
I wish they used bushings for the three or four spots under the most stress. I would like to test them under a stressful build to see if/when they fail, but I didn't want to have to deal with it. So I swapped in a couple bushings for the spots under the most stress.
The tappet plate is that darn polycarb material. The frustrating thing is that it's not exactly a V2 style. There are cutouts in the front of it, for whatever reason, to make it narrower. I sanded down a Guarder tappet plate to fit. However, as I referenced above, the combination of this and/or the nozzle resulted in horrible performance. I want to go back in to accurately measure the dimensions to see if I can sand down my tappet plate more or if there's some other issue.
The motor seems decent. It also kind of looks similar to SHS or ZCI... It's no Tienly, but I don't have any plans of swapping it out yet.
The rest___________________
The thing has pretty standard trigger contacts, but the post that the screw uses to screw them down was wide enough to prohibit a Gate Titan from fitting. One option was to file it down, but I want to try the new Perun Hybrid which seems to have a slightly different footprint. I may be able to use that without worrying about how wide the post is.
Spring, ARL, tappet spring, etc all seem rather standard. Not bad.
As for fieldable performance, my chrono is showing just a 4FPS deviation in full auto. Semi seemed to have tighter groupings of FPS, only deviating 2FPS.
Sadly, the range suuuuuuucks. I spent a while messing with the hop and with a couple different weights. At 90 feet, I am alllll over mytarget paper. I mean, the paper is around the same width as a skinny guy, so you can technically hit a man-sized target at 90 feet... But only if they're completely out in the open. When I switch to a shorter barrel, I will spend some time on the hop bucking/nub (or just R hop). Odd since others have said the accuracy was good.
The cycle time is obviously good with an 11.1v LiPo. Part of the reason I want a better tappet plate is the strain that faster ROF will have on the tappet plate. If you want a tad less stress, I'd suggest sticking with 7.4v.
Overall, I'm happy to have it JUST for the QBS. The motor and gear combo are a nice touch to have since it means I can spend less money on them down the line. I wish they used a better tappet plate and a better nozzle. I also wish it was more accurate out of the box, but maybe mine is a fluke? It's something I recommend upgrading for most stock AEGs anyway, so it's not a huge issue. After that and a nice ETU, this thing will be quite nice to have!

"A few issues but otherwise a phenomenal gun for the price.
Pros:
Very high fire rate and excellent trigger response. So fast that it tends to outrun magazines fairly often.
AK mags, duh.
Lightweight despite being metal, even the full length one is very light.
stock has lots of storage and is comfortable.
wide variety of types of handgun and lengths.
KAC style metal iron sights. Extremely adjustable and best irons i've ever used.
Neutral:
Fire Selector is non ambi, the one for lefties is non functional. I like it because i hate ambi selectors, but it is a bit cheesy that it is there in the first place.
AK mag well is kinda yikes, gotta get used to putting the mags in there. Not as awkward as LCT AK but more awkward and fiddly than a CYMA.
Cons.
Hop up and hop up chamber. My hop up can barely lift .3 gram BBs, and it is very loose, so under firing it tends to "unhop" itself regularly.
Also, it doesnt feed well with certain mags, because the feed tube in the hop chamber is angled from the M4 spot to the AK spot and needs higher mag pressure than a normal AK. The mags I have found to work are BBMAG brand 155 rounders. CYMA mags work well MOST of the time.
Stock is a bit wobbly but in practice really not a huge deal.
TLDR
For the price point this gun is absolutely great. It feels like a performance gun but at a budget price. Amazing iron sights and it looks real nice.

"Better hope yours wasn't like mine.
This gun has extremely favourable reviews, So I'll assume I got a lemon.
Pros: Full metal, looks great (I got the M-Lok 14.5 inch, which is a 16 inch barrel), has an extremely fast response and rate of fire for a stock gun of this price, about 29 rounds per second, but I've seen it push 32 or 33 with a 30C 11.1v Lipo. I recommend a 20C. It absolutely rips. It has a brass barrel, but that means nothing as even effective snipers have brass sometimes. It was extremely accurate. The iron sights are clones of KAC irons and are very precise, and will have an absolute co-witness with an EOtech Holo sight.
Cons: A bit mag picky, particularly in full auto. KWA AK mags are a no no, and CYMA AK mags barely keep up. I recommend Blue Bird BBMAG AK mags, which are 5.45 style and look sorta magpul-ish. THey keep up with the insane firerate and weird hop up S-curve. Speaking of which, Hop up was awful and slipped out of hop all the time, I replaced it with a Krytac that did just fine.
Full metal is heavy so if you are a weakling maybe think twice. Im pretty skinny and did not find the biggest variant of this rifle series very heavy.
Left hand selector is fake, so only the conventional right handed one works. Not an issue, I hate ambi selectors anyway, but why have it in the first place?
Unfortunately for me this gun had issues, it blew fuzes a few times, it stopped running completely and I took it apart like 3 times and could not get it to cycle, trying different motors and looking for any breakage. the Gearbox looked pristine but still I couldn't find any issues, but when it was all closed up it simply refused to cycle.
A side note: it will not slide onto an M4/AR15 upper, it is an AR10 length upper and lower reciever. It MAY be compatible with the CYMA Plat SR25 of the same QBS series but I really do not know.
I also own a 10 inch Mlok M4 version of this system and have had no such issues, but that rifle has its own internal mosfet and no external fuze, perhaps thats why it will eat my 30C batteries and this AR47 did not.

"when I got it out of the box, the suppressor came off... so either they forgot to glue it or what little glue there was, came off. To make things worse, you cant take the outer barrel off easily because the place where the suppressor goes in is pinned in place. mag well is alright and for some reason this model and some others HATE high caps, and the stock likes to loosen itself, this thing is as unstable as my mental status. But on the plus side, the gearbox is pretty decent and the internals are fine, its just the exterior that really put me down.

"Update review.
The gearbox is trash. Trigger post blew off before I could even field it. I've spent alot of time working on thus gearbox. It works for now, but I don't trust it enough to field it. Avoid this unless you have alot of time to keep it running.
