"Pros:
Great exterior looks
Unique gun type (There aren't any other SVUs out there on the market as far as i know)
Good upgrade platform
Shoots fairly accurate out of the box
~400 FPS

Cons:
-Hard to find aftermarket parts, RS SVD upgrades should work fine but they're never in stock anywhere
-Compensator is non removable, it's glued down tight. Thanks alot Evike.
-Pistol grip is painful to hold onto because it's so small
-Stock is angled stupidly, making it difficult to use when prone, because it naturally slips down
-Mock priming handle cracks easily, so be careful when letting it slam forward
-Doesnt have a rear sling mount point, so you'll have to macgyver it if you want to use a sling

Overall It's pretty good but it does have its flaws. If you feel you can overlook them its a solid gun, but otherwise it may not be worth it because of how hard it is to find aftermarket parts.

"My view of the ASP SVU.

Pros
Nice wonderful exterior design
Shoots 400+ fps
Decently accurate with scopes, and red dots

Cons
Small pistol grip, hurts without using gloves
Rear sight is hard to see through
Comes with no instructions to work the product

Experience
When I got this in the mail just today, I was super happy to finally have an SVU product in airsoft. This product felt nice to hold out of the box, I didn't hesitate to charge the battery and use it out on the range me and my friend built. As we were shooting the gun, the pistol grip was rather small for the size and it caused small red marks to show where our thumb rested into the pistol grip. It took a good 5 or 10 minutes for this to happen, so I wouldn't advise people with huge hands to use it unless you have gloves. But overall, the product is near perfect.

"I'm sure it would have been a nice gun BUT I received a lemon. No matter how I adjusted the hop-up I could barely get .20s out to 75 feet and not even with any power on impact. Gears were grinding and it sounded like it was stripping piston teeth. It was very inconsistent in feeding as well . I couldn't make it through 5 shots without a misfeed or dryfire. Like I said I could have gotten a lemon.

Good, Bad and Ugly

(PROs)
-Nice fit and finish, I bought it expecting a fancy toy but what I got was a definite "real steel" feel.
-Weight was nice, (8.8 pounds is heaver than it sounds) it felt real and most importantly felt durable
-Decent packaging (if you're into that thing)
-Lots of rail space, and for unused space the M-LOK is much more friendly to the hand than picatinny

(CONs)
-The Magazine was odd and difficult to align properly. I found it very easy to either put in too deep or not far enough. Even though the design is similar its not nearly as positive or fool prof as "AK style" rifles and magazines I've had in the past.
-Not much room on the grip. I'm 6'2" and I where an XL glove. The back of my wrist and thumb would press into the front of the magazine making the grip a little odd and uncomfortable. That being said it was impossible for me to maintain a grip with my trigger hand and change the magazine with my off hand as you do with most bull-pup designs.
-Even using the recommended small type 7.4 LiPo it was very difficult getting the battery into the rifle, not to mention the upper handgaurd was very stubborn to get on and off. Something like a PEQ box would be recommended just to make battery change in the field more bearable.
-The flip up sights are impossible to see though once you get you eye protection on. Buy an optic with a 1" riser ASAP.
-Length of pull is very short for those of us with long arms, I have yet to see any good options fixing it
-I only found 2 tech guides for this rifle on the entire internet and both were in foreign languages. So I was left without any clue as to how to solve any problems I was having But from what I could see it was very much a pain to work on.
-Parts are odd and some are custom. Don't be expecting the parts to be as easy to find upgrades and replacements for as M4s or AKs.

All in all its a cool gun but my lemon problems aside I just don't think its "$300+ gun cool"

"Gun came on time, as advertised. Scope mount I got for it fit. Leaned the rifle up against a table to get the magazines, and the rifle fell over. Scope mount went spinning across the floor, turns out the bottom of the side rail broke. Be warned, the material quality of this is not the greatest, might not survive even a 3 foot fall.
