"Got this gun about a month ago. The blazing amplifier is quite hard to remove but very doable. Dropped a PolarStar jack into with minimal modifications and I was able to modify the body to fit a g&g Gearbox Shell and a speed trigger. Ran it stock twice and was great for the price. super unique gun. I have built 3 more of my PolarStar builds and sold them for $200 more than I built them for as no one know about this gun yet, so get it now!

"Bought the MLOK Shorty version with the airsoft package, and have had it for over a couple months now.
Love the pdw stock with 7 positions that lock into place. There isn't much that seems too cheap or plastic besides the magazine it comes with, just kinda feels out of place for the sturdy build. The go airsoft package came with 2 CYMA mags that are too snug. Kind of a hassle to get in and out. Bolt catch doesn't actually work so you'll have to keep it pulled back to adjust the wheel style hop up. Hop isn't the greatest, but I did flat hop mine with minor adjustments to the barrel allignment to make sure there is no wobble and it shoots great. The orange tip had to be melted off via blowtorch after removing the outer barrel because they WELDED that thing on. No joke hardest flash hider ive ever tryed to remove. Over time the left magazine release button will strip on the screw, had to glue mine back on. The fire selector is just a bit too easy to flip, Accidently overshot in a CQB game recently. The gun also comes stock pretty quiet. Opened up the gearbox and shimmed it, the motor is still a bit noisey.
Would highly recommended to a new or lower budget airsoft.

"Subtracted half a star for the "silenced" version because you absolutely cannot get the stock silencer off. If you want to use a tracer unit, know that the inner barrel extends about 4 inches past the end of the handguard of the SBR version. Very aggravating design and what's worse is you pay more for the "silenced" version. You will also need to shell out another $7 for a endcap replacement for the orange plastic on the end of the silencer.

Subtracted another half star for the following features:
-The stock battery connector has to go as well so if you're new to the hobby that's more money spent for the right connector.
-While the PDW stock fits the MP5 aesthetic and is sturdy and flush, it doesn't adjust as easily and quickly as a generic delta stock.
-Trigger controls are outdated for 2023. I got a Lancer Tactical Gen 3 for the same price with a programmable trigger.

On the positive side, the handguard is metal and the side and bottom pic rails look to be removable so you get the MP5 look with better rail mounting options. I really like the pistol grip, feels aggressive and snug in the hand. The flip up sights are pretty decent and fit the look well. Gun shoots a bit loud but the FPS is up there which I like.

Overall I think this gun should retail a bit under $200 to be competitive in today's market. As with most AEGs, you're mostly paying for a particular look and this gun does hit the mark for HK lovers.

"I had this gun for a couple months before i sold it. In that time when i used it the selector switch just broke and the mag it came with didnt feed properly. When this gun fed and shot properly, it was a laser beam but when it didnt it was terrible.

"Pros: Good gun, shoots well stock and very lightweight and compact, but still relatively hard hitting!
Cons: Maybe it's just mine, but my pistol grip became very hot after one game. Magazine drop lever is also a little too close for my finger compared to my other AR platforms, and I accidentally bump into it and drop the mag when I'm moving as I tend to have my booger hooker off the trigger when I'm running around.

Overall: Good beginner gun or a backup gun to run with when your primary goes down!

"The weapon is good. It shoots about 310 fps with .25s. The mag well can be a little finicky. The important parts are that it is reliable and looks cool.

On the other hand, the stuff it comes with in the package is kind of lame. It’s a real cheap charger and got hot so that’s uncool. Literally. The bag is pointless. Go to Walmart or bass pro and get one for $30. The batteries are alright but kind of small. The battery bag is cool and peace of mind. You can also buy it separately.

To summarize: get the stuff separate.

"honestly a great gun. shoots so well and efficient.
my biggest issue i have with it was the safety selector became loose after 2 games and messed with initial function and actually the lever sheered off completely leaving me stuck in semi.

other then that best gun you can buy at this price hands down.

"It's a pretty nice gun tbh. I have yet to take it out to the field but here is what I've noticed. To be honest I bought this gun to put a polarstar in it so I don't plan on keeping it stock.

Pros: quick trigger response
very light
polymer seems strong enough I guess
I like the 9mm mag style very much
fulfills my quick playstyle and its needs

Cons: Battery storage is a little limited I can barely fit my 7.4 stick lipo in.
The dust cover sometimes doesn't stay closed but that isn't a huge problem
The rotary hop up isn't a huge issue but it isn't great, I will be changing it.

This is a great gun stock, I can't wait to take it to the field.

"I bought this gun after watching several reviews and guild videos using this PDW as the base with the full intent to build this gun into a fun little beast.
I knew it would come with a terrible plastic rail. But I knew that was going to come off as well.
Right after I got to my house I dropped a battery in it and filled a couple MP5 mags and I did some test firing. It was surprisingly OK. The firing rate was OK, nothing crazy. The power output was a wee bit hot straight out of the box. It was shooting at 1.65j tested using a .32g BB. So yeah, a bit spicy!
The hop system and factory inner barrel were nothing great. A plastic, standard 3 wheel hop and a brass 6.05mm inner barrel. Te range was good, but again, with that extra bit of power output, of course it was going to have some range.
I left the gun along for one day and then I couldn't take it anymore. I had a new outer barrel, rail, Prowin clone hopup, ZC1, R-hopped barrel and a Modify black flat hop bucking ready to go into this gun.
The stock rail is really cheesy and it had to go. The stock outer barrel is metal, but really short so I replaced that with a 9" outer, Then a Lancer Tactical Fire Hawk 10" rail went on as well as a short mock suppressor. The inner barrel had to be cut down from 363m to 330mm for this build. Once that was all assembled the gun looked great, but the gearbox needed some help.
I ended up using very little of the stock internals, maybe the ARL and that's about it. The gears, cylinder, cylinder head, nozzle, piston, piston head and spring all got replaced with more substantial parts. While the stock gearbox is OK, I wanted this little beast to last a bit longer and be a bit snappier. I used a set of 16:1 gears that I had, a cylinder with more volume, an SHS piston and piston head, a double o-ring cylinder head I had laying around and a o=ring type nozzle. All the parts are standard M4 stuff.
In the end, I stayed wit the stock motor because the high torque motor I had planned to put in was just too much for that setup.
The inside of the gearbox shell is really nasty. King Arms never really cleans up the inside of the shell and chooses to leave it in "raw" state. That means there is a lot of added friction to parts that have to slide over those surfaces and slowing down the speed of the box until it all wears into place. I chose to clean up all the rough surfaces and cleaned it up. I smoothed down the rails for the pistol to slide on as well as the curved walls. The channel for the tappet plate to slide in. I cleaned up the radiused corners of the shell and generally smoothed it all out on the inside. Once reassembled with a proper weight spring to achieve local field limits the gun was a lot happier and sounds great. It feeds flawlessly with the plastic mid-cap MP5 mags. and as others have said, it will not fit the metal Hi-cap mags. Its now a super fun, straight shooting , decent range and surprisingly snappy and cool PDW!
I really like it a lot! And the fact that I didn't have to buy new, proprietary mags for it is one of the best features of it.

"Just pulled the shorty out of its box to notice the entire front rail section, barrel included, has an awful amount of wobble. It's a little disappointing, but I had no issues loading and firing some old Umarex magazines. No failure to feed issues restored my hope for the little one to replace my UAR gen 2 from 2015. Ergonomic and compact with enough railestate to make up for the slop up front. Could be much worse, but it's still bothersome that it's wiggling where the upper meets the handguard.

"Definitely a very cool gun, pros - feels good to hold, the stock is great, flip up sights work great, sounds good. Cons - (should’ve read the fine print) no battery, mag is a mid cap but doesn’t come with a speed loader(which is required to load) no extra bbs at all, the mag is difficult to fit in the slot and the battery space in the stock is small. Overall it’s a great gun if you have all the extra stuff and you own better magazines. NOT a beginner gun you basically can use it unless you’ve bought a battery, bbs, a speedloader/different magazine, also the video shows a metal gearbox I believe but the one I got seems to be plastic? I’m not sure. If it didn’t look so cool and fire as nice as it does the little issues might have been too much to deal with as a whole

"So I bought this gun and just got it 3 days ago and the first couple of days it shot very well, nothing wiggles or moves except for the mags that dont fit in the gun that well. Then the trigger stopped working and the motor was getting very hot. Doing a return and getting a better one back.

"The mag it comes with is very cheap and you need a speed loader to load it it is impossible to load with hands I’d recommend buying a hi cap magazine with the gun but otherwise the gun feels great and shoots great

"So far it is a good gun. The only problem I had was that the mags were very wobbly. Otherwise, it was fine.
