"This was my first aeg. I got it in march last year and I'm impressed with some things and disappointed with others. First the rof is pretty good for a dboys, but the battery sucks GET ANOTHER BATTERY! The life on it is very bad. The crane stock isnt the best quality but it gets the job done. It is a pretty accurate gun, but best for cqb. The rails are nice and I haven't had a problem with them. Body wabbles a bit but the same as many m4 aegs. DONT PULL THE CHARGING HANDLE BACK HARD! My friend broke my charging handle by doing that. Overall good gun for the price with lots of good accessories included. A good starter weapon.

"Was a great deal! At the start…
When I first got the bundle on sale for 190$ it was insane how good of a deal it was especially with how well the gun shot and felt, but that’s where the problems started. The mag release wouldn’t accept the bamf mags that came in the bundle, luckily evike support was very helpful and got me a new stanag that fit.
Then after just a few times fielding it the hopup broke and had to be replaced.
After a year the mosfet fried and killed 2 of my batteries causing me to change out the entire gearbox for a ZCI microswich one.
Overall it’s a great gun especially for the price but in my case it caused more headache than it was worth and cost me more in the end compared to just buying a high end AEG in the first place

"I used it carefully for a few months. i pretty much only did target practice with it. somehow the full auto feature has stopped working. whenever I change the selector switch to auto, it shoots as if its in semi. it still functions, but I wish the full auto worked.

"I dont really recommend this, I bought the "Go airsoft starter package" with the matrix 5" stubby m4. The gun itself is good for a starter gun, but all the extra things you get with the starter package are low quality. First off, the smart charger is a cheap charger that barely works, but at least it charges the battery. Second, the starter package comes with an extra magazine, but the extra mag I was given did not fit my gun. Luckily Evike quickly sent me another mag that did fit my gun. Lastly, the red dot sight that comes with the starter package is wobbly when attached to the gun. Overall the gun itself is great for a starter gun, the only problem I had was the dust cover covering the hopup was a little loose and tended to open with me just running around with the gun. Its all the extra things that come with the gun in the starter package that are not worth the extra money at all.

"High cap never worked and the mid cap began to stop feeding feeding

"I would not buy the one with the 9 inch rail again. The gearbox was changed from a very short trigger pull, to a longer one with a cheaper microswitch trigger. Buy the ones without the rail. on another page. you'll thank me later.
Pros:
rail is metal
shoots good with .28's (go a bit heavier for best results)
Cons:
bad trigger
barrel is a bit screwed up

"Received the gun on time, the accessories where late. The batteries and charger worked, the sight worked, but when I tried putting the (at the time said midcap) spare mag in, it didn't fit. I thought I would be fine with the high cap, but that can only shoot about 40ish bbs before it just stops feeding completely. The sight is too wobbly due to it only having one slim connection point to one side.

"Shot fine and performed well in store. Took it to Tac City and the gun locked up at the chrono. Took it up to their tech department and even they couldn't get the gear box to unlock. Batteries used were a fully charged 7.4, 9.6, and a 11.1.

Long story short I couldn't use the warrenty, so I took it apart myself and found out the micro-switch trigger wasn't getting a good connection and started acting weird on semi, like something wasn't engaging right on the trigger contacts. If I pulled the trigger very slow, I could somewhat feel the motor connect and the gun would fire. Pulling fast and it didn't seem like a connection was made..

Also my hop up didn't end up being a rotary like the picture showed. I ended up with this strange two piece design instead which I'm not a huge fan of.

Also note to techies out there, it might be just because I'm relatively new to teching but this gun is a pain to put together. The recievers have these strange tabs on the sides that are made so that the gun flexes a little bit which makes the recieve fit a little tighter but I can't get them to fit under the recivers.. Might just shave them off.. Also the two piece hop up design doesn't help in putting the recievers back together either.

Either way, I threw way too much time into fixing it so I might just throw it at a local tech and see what they can do.

"The gun when I first pulled it out of the box was decent in airsoft the classic saying you get what you pay for definitely applied to this gun. The first thing I noticed was the weight it had some decent weight to it, and not to mention it has a mk18 rail on it I'll give you props Matrix. But now onto the bad first off now idk if it was just mine but the battery cover on the stock was cut very poorly and wasnt eye appealing at all. Secondly some now I've never had this before but when I went to shoot it with a fully charged battery plugged it wouldnt fire, now I did try a different gun and it fired for the other one. So all in all I'm going to give it a 3, like I stated before you get what you pay for in airsoft and it definitely applies here.

"Package is ok.
Gun is decent for a hobby player.
Two batteries and charger is a huge advantage.
The magazine with the gun is nice. The additional "mid cap"one is mildly dissapointing.
The blue bag is silly and no real added value.

Red dot would be ok. Mine arrived broken. The top adjustment post was snapped off, so worthless to me except for "looks"

Overall its a decent setup.

I would value a extra battery and mabey another "hi cap" magazine instead of the bag, red dot and Mid cap.

"I don't know if this was just my magazines, but for some reason both my mid-cap and high-cap magazines will not feed properly, they will shoot a few bb's then just blank fire. I know with the high-caps you have to wind them up, but even after doing that it will not feed well especially in full-auto. Overall though it is a great gun, it has good weight to it and the sight is a little wobbly, but not tool bad, it is very accurate and is a ton of fun on the field, I would just wish that my magazines would feed properly.

"Cheap construction motor to noisy
by Jared B. on 05/12/2017
"Cheap built but cool looking motor too loud . The outer construction is made of plastic there are a few metal Parts including the trigger mechanism and a few of the Rails shoot ok

"does any one know if you can put a longer barrel on this rifle
I want to know if any one upgraded this rifle and everything they put on it

"i bought the gun a month and a half ago and on the 3rd day the screw in the buffer tube came undone. but i fixed that but then when i had a faulty magazine and i think it may have been a stuck bb, motor jam, or something else but it made a half wind and then it wouldn't fire. so i sent the gun to the store 3 1/2 weeks ago and i haven't gotten it back or heard about it. but besides that the gun is very solid. it has a high fps and slower rate of than most guns. like how short it is and its liter than other guns i have used. but the rail covers and dust cover broke. so please reply if you have had these problems
