"So here are my initial impressions having just received this gun.
G&G has done an excellent job with the design of this gun. The gun is sleek, sharp, and sure to catch the eye of your fellow airsofters. The build quality is above average. Parts that need to be metal are metal. The parts that are plastic seem very sturdy and there is very little if any wobble in the gun. Test firing this gun in my back yard yielded what I feel like are above average results in the accuracy department. The built-in MOSFET is an excellent addition, and the ability to switch to three-round-burst is amazing. Overall I think this gun is worth every penny, and I look forward to many days fielding it.
There were a couple of issues with the gun out of the box. I'll deal with the biggest one that caused me the most frustration and worry first.
The entire magazine release mechanism was bent at such an angle when I received the gun that even the G&G high-cap mag that it was furnished with would not stay in the mag well. It frustrated me greatly that I had to take the magazine catch assembly (don't know what else to call it) apart on the first day that I got it and bend a piece back to the correct angle to engage the magazines. The part itself felt of a reasonably good quality, but I was still extremely nervous bending this part.
Secondly, the orange flash hider that it was supplied with was the hardest one I've ever had to remove. It took me well over an hour to get the flash hider off and install my suppressor.
I will also mention a slight nag about the stock. The battery compartment is absolutely tiny compared to my G&G FN2000 or my A&K M249. Not a deal breaker by any means, but definitely make sure you are using a very small battery.
Overall I think this gun is superb. Even with the hiccups I experienced, I would still buy it again. Are there better guns out there? Sure. But as far as bang for the buck goes, I'd say the G&G CM16 SRXL is an amazing deal. Buy one right now.

"Well, let me just say this is a great gun for the price.
although, there are a couple downsides.
First off, the battery compartment is tight, making it difficult to put in and pull out your battery. i had to use the wires to pull it out because there was no other way to get it out. I ended up messing up my battery. so, i put on a different stock.
one other thing, the fps is not anywhere near 400. with .20 i usually get around 365 to 375. .25's get you around 345 to 355.
this gun can shoot an average 170ft to 185ft with stock hopup adjusted. (i was expecting a little more)
besides all of that, this gun is great. its held up great over the year, and had no problem with loose parts. For a fairly cheap gun, its great!

"So this gun has been great looking. However on the first day of shooting, it cuts out. I have to unplug and reconnect the battery just for it to happen again a few shots later.
This problem can be fixed by using a Lipo battery. I had to find this out the hard way by reviewing forums, than emailing G&G. Also the srock came loose within an hour.
I love this gun and I hope I can get it to work correctly.

"I received this gun, and it did not work right out of the box. It would only shoot 3 - 4 BBs at a time, and then it would only continue to shoot if you removed the magazine and reinserted it and then it would shoot 3 or 4 more BBs. Every time you eject the magazine, however, you lose 3 - 4 BBs. I called EVIKE, and the operator suggested that I put some silicon lubricant on the bucking, which I did, but that didn't fix the problem. I swapped out the hopup and bucking to an aftermarket metal hopup and prometheus bucking, and the gun worked good after that. Accuracy was VERY good with .20 and .25 BBs. I was only able to test it with a NiMH battery. I don't have any LIPOs.
It also had some cosmetic blemishes on it. It was pretty obvious that this was either a previous return from another customer, or it was a refurbished gun.
The G&G magazine didn't work very well with the gun (after I was able to get the gun to work), but my other high cap mags worked great with it.
It's really too bad, because this is a fantastic looking gun. Out of all AEG's, this was my favorite design, and I felt like it was reasonably priced. I just shipped the gun back to EVIKE and I'll be picking out a different one.....hopefully one that I won't have to fix just to be able to use it.
All in all, EVIKE customer support was good, but could have been faster. Getting an RMA was like pulling teeth. Every time I called, I would get different information, and I responded to their emails, but they didn't respond to mine. The last operator I spoke to finally I think felt sorry for me and issued the RMA so I could return the gun.
I'm disappointed in my first experience with EVIKE customer service, but I'm going to give them another shot since I have a store credit. If you happen to buy one of these, and it works right out of the box, you'll be very happy with it. After I got it working, it was a beast.

"This gun was a giant disappointment. Twice I ordered this gun and both times it fired one mag and just stopped. I highly advise that G&G further tests these rifles to make sure that they work.

"I was looking into this gun after seeing quite a few good reviews for this.
Pros:
Really good internals for a right out of the box gun
Really good look
Comes with a Mossfet
Cons
I have shot this numerous times in the backyard and took to one game. Jams quite often even with compatible m4 Magazines
Little bit of wobble
Very tiny battery space
