"After having the gun for a month, I finally got to fire it.
But first, the gun has a nice balanced feel to it; it is heavy enough to make you feel like you are wielding the real thing. Other than having to keep up with a small allen wrench to remove the "nose" the gun disassembles with ease for cleaning and general maintenance.
Now, with a load of propane, the weapon kicks hard, and shoots straight to about 50+ feet, before starting to drop. I love it!! No AEP's for me...ever!
Pros: Nice feel, mostly metal, balanced weight, great GBB pistol for the money...and the name rocks!!
Cons: Orange tip is not plastic, it is a metal threaded tip. Would be great for the person who likes extended barrels or silencers...otherwise, the tip does not appear to be easily removed.
Although not a biggie, I was only able to fit 29 BB's instead of the advertised 30...but whose counting?
Because of the allen wrench, and the small screw, the gun would be a tough gun to perform field maintenance on.
The cons do not outweigh the Pros, so I give this WE Dark Dragon a 5/5!!

"I've had my gun for about a year and i have to say it is one of the best guns i've ever had. i'v used it extently, and i admit i've abused it a bit, but thats what happens to em'. anyway the only problem i've had with it is i'll fill the mag up fully, and it shoots the first bb full power, but then the next few are week and the third or fourth doesn't even rack the slide, i'm still trying to fix it but other than that this gun is a must if you want a sexy looking gun.

"Does it come with a co2 mag??
Webmaster: The pistol come with a green gas magazine like most gas blowbacks. There are CO2 magazine available that you can buy. It use standard WE / Tokyo Marui Hi-capa 5.1 / 4.3 magazines.

"Good weight and nice feel. Shoots well. But it hogs gas. If magazine is filled up all the way with green gas, lasts more than the 30 shots that you can put in the HI-CAPA 5.1 magazine.

"The gun is solid. It feels like it will last just got it today so not completely sure but in about a month I will leave another review to update how it is but only problem is the orange tio is hard to get off and I know hot to take them off

"So far it is a good air soft pistol, the only issue i had was that the orange tip was not threaded and was just a plastic tip. I was hoping the tip was threaded so i can use a suppressor and even a tracer unit but i guess not.

"To be clear, I am reviewing this version: (Model: Xcelerator Dragon Long Slide / Black / Standard Grip).
This gun is pretty nice. Solid external build quality. Minimal wobbles. Awesome looking design!
Pros:
-Extremely snappy slide action due to the split slide design
-Great fun to shoot
-Powerful
-Decent range and accuracy
-Includes the 2 hex keys you need to remove the potato masher compensator.
Cons:
-Evike description says 300-330 fps with .2g bbs and green gas / propane which is about 0.8 Joules. When I chronoed it with .2s it was shooting upwards of 360 fps or 1.2 Joules. This is a con for me as I was hoping to use it at my local CQB field which limits bb energy to 1.0 Joule. If you were thinking of using this for outdoors you'll probably be fine. Keep in mind that this wont fit in any hardshell holsters and it is absolutely HUGE.
-Adjusting the hop up is annoying because you need 3 tools to remove the potato masher compensator to get the slide off. Requires 2 different hex keys (included) and a small phillips screwdriver.
-The right side of the ambidextrous safety wiggles a little bit, but this doesn't really bother me because I'm right handed and use the left side of the ambi safety.
-The screws that mount the extended front end in place come loose quite easily from normal use. Screw glue required.
Overall it's a cool gun, but isn't as practical as the standard 5.1 and the shorter 4.3 and 3.8 versions.
Please improve your product descriptions between different models Evike!!!

"Pretty satisfied with my purchase. Got a WE hi capa alpha model. Retails around $95. Sadly i only have co2 so I have to order gas now. Funny part is there is a spot for a gas canister in the package. They took it out. But allwell. Cant complain for value.

"Model: Alpha / Black / Standard Grip
I decided to get this pistol for my local CQB field/ backup for my Scar H and I very much enjoy it. Some good pros and a few cons.
PROS:
Adjustable hopup that lets me very accurately hit targets at 150ft.
The split slide is very aesthetically pleasing and solid.
Threaded barrel that comes with12mm to 14mm adapter is a huge plus.
Blowback action is hard and very snappy allowing me to let off quick shots when peaking corners.
Slide locks back in place after the last BB every time(so far).
Takes both green gas and CO2 magazines.
Pistol is loud and distinctive with both green gas and CO2 (CO2, of course, being even louder)
Mine is very green gas efficient 1 filled mag will fire 30~35 bbs(WHEN ACTUALLY FULLY FILLED WITH GAS) CO2 mags get roughly 70.
CONS:
This pistol is rather heavy, like 4 pounds heavy which can be a con to some, I don't mind too much tho.
CO2 magazines chrono at 370ish with .25s which is understandable but sucks so if you want this for CQB get the green gas magazines only.
Because of the split slide you need an allen key to take off the front sight in order to disassemble(sorta of a con, allen key is supplied with pistol tho)
After 3 games, roughly 1000bbs, the black paint is wearing off in multiple places which is fine for me cuz "battle proven" aesthetics (mainly the high traffic areas slide lock, safety, parts of slide internal and external.)
The rear sight is kinda meh, its a solid black no fiber optic or painted dots, workable but meh.
OVERALL I like this pistol and I do recommend it (if anyone sees this review lol) I advise green gas mags only for CQB fields and altho I dislike the sights they work just fine. Im going to use this until something important breaks and then buy a load of upgrades and a tracer unit.
The pistol comes in a very nice box with the pistol, green gas magazine, 12mm to 14mm adapter, allen key for disassembly and manual.

"Hello fellow air-softers. I purchased this handgun not long ago and it is Soooooo awesome! Right out of the box I knew I would love it. It is full metal with a plastic grip which feels kind of cheap and light, but the magazine compensates and balances the gun. Unfortunately, this gun is quite unreliable. You have to constantly fill the magazine with propane about every 1 and a half full clips. And it has to be lubricated, obviously considering it is a GBB. And because I use propane, it smells really bad. But other than that, this gun is amazing and you should get it if you want it as a secondary weapon.

"I bought this gun with the 50 round magazine and the 30 round magazine.
Overall, the gun shoots accurately about 70-100 feet right out of the box.
Here are my issues with the gun.
1. The handgrip. I have larger hands, but the handgrip is pretty large. If you have small hands I would not get this gun. Also, the grip is some weird grip rubber material; I personally prefer the checkered wood or metal but that is personal preference.
2. The Split Competition Slide.
The front end came loose. It is held on by an hex screw and easily tightens; however, it gets loose after one game or so. Not enough to be concerned about it falling off, but enough to be annoying.
3. Rate of fire not that great.
This is not a bad thing. The rate of fire on this gun is good, but not that much better than the other pistols. My KWA 1911A1 (old model not Ns2) gets out about the same amount of rounds/minute.
Overall, this pistol performs very well especially for the price. My issues with it are mainly that it is a bigger pistol and that the slide seems to want to be loose.

"This gun is great! The build quality is quite remarkable, the gun feels sturdy in the hand. It has a mostly metal construction with the only notable plastic part being the grip. With a 7" design, the gun is very accurate in your typical CQB/room clearing distances. My only complaint is that the magazines are bit of a pain sometimes! The mags are shady. Its hit or miss, some of the mags I have work wonderful, while others need a replacement output valve (between $10-$20). The mags are picky too. They have a unique design that makes them durable and sturdy, but also hard to find other brands that work! Overall, this is a great gun for the price!
Pros:
-Build
-Accuracy
-Durability
Cons:
-Mag problems that are a pain!

Geat durrability!
Theres many many many more but im to lazy to list them all!

Over all this is a must buy for all of you who really like the 1911 series...And all of you who love CQB!
None of teh cons really do anything bad... but for the loose parts just get allen wrenches and titen them!

"I got this gun a couple of months ago and have really used it since. The gun itself is amazing, I haven't had ANY problems with it. I have stopped using it because the mag it came with was a baby hi-capa and will only shoot about 4 times before it's completely out of propane. I don't know why, but it just does. It doesn't leak, but it doesn't hold any propane either. That's why I gave it a 4/5. If you're looking for a great, reliable and cheap beginning gun, you can't do better than this.
