"Beggars can’t be choosy. This is the only brand that makes this really cool WW2 gun. I was disappointed to see the hop up wheel see through plastic. Yes the stock wiggles. Not much. Very little. The box looks like a cardboard box. I thought it was a trap door in the shipping box. But like I said beggars can’t be choosy when this is the only brand that makes this gun. Other that all those bad things it’s nice. Shoots good looks good. That’s all that matters for under $300. Not bad I’m happy. Oh also mags are hard to find. Good luck finding mags

"Pros
-fairly good wood stock
-good fps
-fun to shoot
-full metal
-very realistic
Cons
-extremely heavy
-pulling the bolt back scrapes a plastic gear
-the stock’s screws are too short are are easily prone to being stripped out of the wood, but getting longer/thicker screws solves the problem.
But overall this is a nice rifle and it completed my German setup, would recommend.

"There were two problems, but they were easy fixes and the gun works and looks great. The first problem was that the two screws that hold the stock onto the rear trunnion were stripped out. One had fallen out in shipment and the other was backed out about half way. This was an easy fix with some epoxy and a couple slightly larger screws. The other problem was that the fitment of the rear trunnion to the receiver was extremely tight, which, quite frankly, is why I think the screws stripped out. It was quite difficult to get the thing off of the gun without the use of a mallet and a polymer punch. But off it came, and since I was going for a battlefield pickup sort of look with this gun, I sanded enough paint out of the inside of the trunnion and off the back of the receiver to allow things to fit snug, but loose enough to be able to replace the battery without much effort. This is a nice gun. I just wish it wasn't a gunsmithing project right off the bat. Looks great with a "battlefield pickup" distressed finish. Also, I will say that the wood used on the stock is quite nice, and mine actually has some decent figure. A far nicer stock than any plywood on an original StG44

"The gun shoots very well and I’ve gotten a lot of good use out of it. The only complaint I have towards it is that the stock came wobbly, and at one point, it fell out and I had to duck tape it back on. Besides the stock, the gun is great and works very well with .25 bbs.

"Good gun but i cant see it lasting the rest of the year before the wires give out it just lacks space for its battery and the battery connector gets put under a lot of stress hooking up and reassembling the gun every time you want to put a battery in.
Pros
Shoots hard, far and straight
Some of the best feeding high caps ive ever seen
Can take battle wear and damage without affecting the operation of the aeg
East access to the hop up
Cons
Mags are hard to wind and need gloves if you dont want to hurt your hand
Takes easy cosmetic damage to sights and the fake charging handle
If you dont know STG's are side to side then you will struggle with the fire selector
Battery connector will almost 100% be the first thing to break that will require repair. Also the connector will not last a year if you play every weekend like i do.
Does not come with a black tip so you will need to paint it not orange.
Mags can get easy cosmetic damage
Mags will spill often and sometimes in the gun due to how they are reloaded.
In my conclusion i love the gun but there are some problems that i hope matrix will address in a future iteration of their STG and STG magazines.

"Solid rifle by agm. Not really much to say except the great metal construction as well as the real wood stock. I've only had 2 problems with this gun. Those problems were that the stock was a little wobbly out of the box, however that can be fixed by tightening a few screws in the back of the stock. The other problem is that the hop-up is SUPER loose out of the box. I ended up having to fully replace the hop-up unit because of this. You could just tape the gears down and have your problem solved, but if you want a permanent fix I recommend replacing the unit. Other than that, a great rifle for collectors and reenactors. If you are a beginner thinking about purchasing this gun I honestly don't recommend it, mainly because of the little hassles here and there.
Pros:
SOLID construction
Receiver and barrel assembly are metal
great FPS out of the box (for no upgrades of course)
Real wood furniture
Overall great gun
Cons:
Hop-up was VERY LOOSE out of the box
The stock was wobbly (Easy fix, not a big problem)
The battery is VERY difficult to get into the stock

"I had this gun for about 3 months and the gears in the gearbox started to strip and it put gear pieces into the cylinder and destroyed the gearbox but other an that it was a great gun that shoot very well.

"This gun is so close to perfect
Pros:
V2 gearbox
M4 style hop up
500 round magazines
420fps out of the box
laser beams .25's out to 300ft (at least mine did)
Cons: and theres only 2
The hop up lock will shatter and the magic leaks out from there
its 10.5 lbs
This is one of the few guns I would purchase again and probably AGM's best gun, its great even for regular skirmish.

"I just recieved the Strumgewhr 44 (assault rifle) 44 about two weeks ago and it never fails to impress. Just on taking it out of the box and sighting it makes you feel like a Wehrmacht Soldaten. I have not taken it to an airsoft field yet but just shooting it from my neighbors yard and hitting my back fence 250ft away defidently is a mouth dropper.
pros
-Very reilistic (accept rear sights)
- Very long range 250ft.
-all wood and metal construction
- Inexpensive for quality
-acurate
-realistic weight (heavy)
cons
-doesnt hold much ammo: about 300 rounds ( then again im used to a 2,000 round mag)
-flap to hopup adjust will not stay down
- 420 fps, could be higher
Summery
If you like a WWII replicas that have both the bark and the bite then this gun is strongly recomended.

"When I got this gun, the sight was a bit wobbly and the door for the hop-up didn't close properly. Also, the screws in it seemed to be stripped making it hard if not impossible to access the insides. Other than that, the AGM MP44 works as expected.
Pros: Accurate, realistic weight, full metal/wood, good FPS
Cons: Stripped screws, wobbly sight, magazine is a bit wobbly and sometimes fails to feed.

"this gun is amazing! It is a very tough gun, and it will impress all of your friends. It is all metal and wood, the only plastic parts on it are the hand guards on the grip and the Orange tip that can be taken off, plus it has a very nice wood stock. You can buy an extra mag for this gun, but you don't really have to. it holds a tun of ammo. the only things that are kind of bad is that it weighs a lot for an assault rifle, but it is not too bad, the firing rate is a little slow, but it is really accurate, and I will warn you that the front sight "ring" doesn't come on the gun and it takes a bit of work to get it on, but it is not impossible. Overall it is a great gun it's well built, very few plastic parts, has good FPS, and holds a lot if ammo. I would recommend this gun to anybody if you have the money; it is worth the price.

"Really good reproduction of an STG44. The only problems with mine are that the hopup cover goes up way to easily. The thing that holds it in place just flys off now. I use a strip of velcro instead now. The gun/mag also suffers from feeding problems quite constantly. In addition to that, there are only hi caps available. So would be a 5/5 if it didnt have those two problems which are quite annoying.

"I love the feel and look of the gun, the first time I tried to take the stock off to put in the battery, the wood stripped off the metal piece, and the pin is stuck and won’t come out!

"After having this for a long time the receiver is very weak, the motor cage is very bad, it moves around to much, the motor cage screws are bad, the stock is very cheap, it's good when it's new, but starts to go down hill from there, everything starts to get loose, starts to weaken, and break, it's easy to upgrade, the barrel is hard to take out, overall this gun is a 3/5

"I gotta say I got it last week, fired it with a titan 7.4 Lipo and it shot pretty alright. A few days later I went out to play with my buddy and the hopup broke. After taking the gun apart and looking at the hopup chamber, the cheap plastic gears were locked in place and wouldn't move which made the rifle have almost zero hop. The stock is also very wobbly, and the wood is separating from the metal. But over all a very easy to use and accessible gun, but I would suggest minor upgrades and reinforcing the stock.
