"As expected. I have used 3 different types of Matrix springs so far and they have never failed me
I have used Systema and Guarder. This spring is easier to install and FPS depreciation is less.
Pro:
Easy to install (PDI length and design)
Made with sturdier material
Doesn't rust
Not overpriced like other brands
Con:
None

"This is a great spring. I bought it for my Echo-1 G36c. Be prepared though, you might want to think about getting a high torque motor. The stock motor in my G36c was not powerful enough to pull back the spring, I got off a few slow shots (it triple fed the bb's before it fired) before it broke off a metal tooth on my aluminum piston. Obviously because of this I haven't gotten the chance to chrono the new spring, but when I get a new motor and piston I'll be sure to post it. (in about 2 weeks)

"EXCELLENT SPRINGS!! Evike.com makes very consistent springs, and they work well!

"I definitely see a noticeable increase in power, but mostly with .2 bbs.
Not seeing too much of a change with the .28's that I intended to use with this upgrade spring.

"Just a heads up, This spring shot 450fps in my CYMA m14.

"I bought this spring about 8 months ago to go into my JG SIG 550. The FPS on the first chrono I used was 395 FPS with .25g BBking bbs. Went to my first Milsim this year and I chronographed it there and it was shooting around 429 FPS with .25g Elite Force bio bbs which I don't like. So needless to say I had to take my gun apart and cut 4 coils off to get it down to 390 FPS with .25g bbs. I don't think this has anything to do with the spring I think it was the chronographs I used and bbs, BB King bbs are better quality bbs than Elite Force bbs.
Note: I have a bearing on the piston head and the spring guide which compresses the spring more which in turn can increase the FPS. Plus I have 100% air seal and a type 0 cylinder.
Overall I think this is a great spring! I think next time i am getting a Matrix M113 irregular pitch spring.

"Just added this to my CYMA CM028U AK to bump it up a little for outdoors. Spring was a beast to put in compared to the stock spring. And I had to upgrade to the 9.6V battery as stated. The stock battery wouldn't even turn it over! Other wise I have been out a few times with it, full auto and semi without any other issues. Stock motor and all other stock parts + internals.
I don't think I would go any higher though without another motor. This seems to be a good size to get a bit more bang out of your gun without breaking everything.

"this spring is of good quality. it seemed very simlinar to the power of my ca spring but i was only compressing it a little bit. But rember this is a irregular pitch coil spring so you cant tell until it is fully compressed.

"I installed this spring into my JG MK36c and it worked pretty well. There were a couple of problems however.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Shoots 575-600 fps w/ .2g bbs
Cons:
- You need to get a high torque motor that can pull back the spring, or else all you'll end up doing is blowing out your fuse.

"i recently bought this spring for my jg mp5 and i loved it. the only bad thing was that my motor could not handle it and burned out my fuse. when i opened up my gun i saw that because the fuse had blown the spring was compressed. i am wondering if anybody has this spring new and can measure it to tell me how long it is new and if i have to replace my old one.
p.s. if you get this spring and its an upgrade from your old spring, you may want to upgrade your motor and gears just to be safe.

"I have purchased 3 of these spring and have received mixed results. I first purchased this spring for my m249 as a slight increase over my m90 so my piston would keep up with the gears, i went from 320fps to 435fps. second I purchased this spring to do an upgrade for a friend, 350fps. third was my most amazing, i got this spring for my RPK which i planed on it shooting 350ish fps. i installed this and i am now getting 470fps. these springs are not good for precise upgrades. however, for how long I have used them they keep their power very well.

"I put a M115 spring in my VFC Avalon and is now shooting at 431, 435, 384, 432, 435. Not impressed with how high its shooting. I put about a 1,000 rounds through it and still shooting just as hot. I don't know how much it'll loosen up over time, but I'm fearful of putting that much wear and tear on my gearbox & motor.
