"Gun shoots great out of the box looks fantastic as well.
All the parts are made to last except the piston. After buying it and using it for a while i learned that the included piston isn't too great and mine is already stripped and being fixed as we speak. A fairly inexpensive fix, but the fact of the matter being that I didn't expect that too be a problem. Besides that, this gun is superb in all areas looks feel everything. Well worth the price tag especially when you add on the accessories (AFG Holo etc)
And DO NOT WORRY ABOUT BATTERY SPACE. I guess people don't think this through. Get a strap on pouch to mount on the side of the stock and it will fit any battery. And it also adds some BAMF looks to the gun. It's like a $5-$10 fix and is always overlooked.

"Hello airsofting community. I see there currently isn't a review so I will write one.
Quality- The VFC Scar H is a great airsoft rifle in my opinion. The build is sturdy with very little wobble, with the exception of a lower rail which, after tightening, hasn't become a problem at all. The lower receiver is made of a strong polymer which Is very sturdy and probably won't break on you if you happen to fall or drop the gun. The upper reciever is made of metal, and does add a considerable amount of weight to the front end. One thing I would like to point out and hope that everyone knows is that the wiring on this gun is terrible. I've had this gun for about six months and have had multiple problems with the wiring. This includes the wire completely breaking in half ( this has happened twice ) and the wiring coming off of the motor. Both of these not big problems, but when buying a $400 gun, I expect a little more. Also the way the wiring goes to the back of the gun, it makes it difficult to fit your battery in. And because you have to cram it in there, the wiring may interfere with the mechanism that allows the stock to retract. That being said, this gun is a good gun, but like I said being $400 I expect better quality of the wiring.
Performance- this gun does however perform like a champ amd is better than most of the other Scar Heavy's out there. Ive gone to countless airsoft games with this gun and the gearbox has not let me down ( besides the wiring failing mid game ). It shoots around 360FPS so it does do its job. I run an intellect 9.6v battery and it does just fine. The gun does get descent range, but for you DMR people out there, this gun would definitely need some upgrades to really extend its reach. Overall performance wise, it's definitely worth the money.
Overall- I think this gun is a great gun. I love it especially because it's not just another M4. It performs well and gets the job done. The only downfall of this gun is that the wiring is very disappointing, and for spending $400, I expect better. I give it a 4 out of 5 only because of the headaches I've had repairing the wiring of this gun. I would recommend this gun to all of you guys out there who don't want another M4 and still want a great gun.

"Looks good, but the internals are worse than a less expensive 200 dollar airsoft gun, used for 3 games then motor broke it guessing so that’s cool.

"I'm giving this a 3 star only because of the externals and that it makes a great DMR when money is poured into upgrades. Otherwise, it would be like a 1 star. I would highly recommend NOT getting this if you are newer to airsoft and/or don't plan on upgrading it. There are better options out there for the price.
Pros:
Awesome externals(10/10)
Cons:
Hop up is trash
Motor is super slow making trigger response horrible.
The wiring is a pain.
Very limited battery space. You can only fit a butterfly battery if the stock is extended.
The buttstock is a pain to put on.
There are quite a few screws and externals you have to remove just to get to the inner barrel.

"Pros -
Absolutely stunning
Lots of room for attachments
Retractable Stock
Can raise chin rest
Cons-
Title for the gun is misleading as it is not FULL metal
Wiring is god awful (I received it, let it sit for 2 days, opened it up the night before a game and noticed a wire off from the fuse box)
Magazine is on the small side (capacity wise)
Charging handle does not stay back (The lock for it is broken)
Battery Compartment is TINY
Overall, this gun is not good for its normal price. I picked it up for $200 and it is fine for that price range. It is incredibly disappointing that there are this many mechanical things wrong with the gun before I even took it out for its first game. I basically had to jam the severed wire back to where it should be and duct tape the **** out of it. I was also exited to own a full metal gun, not realizing that the title is false and it is only 1/2 metal. I just do not think this gun is worth anything more than $200 with all of the issues and false advertising.

"Okay, after having this gun for a good while now, i feel like i can write an honest review. first off, this gun is simply beautiful. sure to turn heads wherever you go. the externals are all very nice, except, the bolt have some severe wobble to it and my bolt catch never actually worked. and as far as internals go, its all good except for; self shimming gears, plastic bushings, and a very weak plastic piston. mine was not accurate at all out of the box for what it is meant to do. but with all of that being said, it is a WONDERFUL gun to use a base. i replaced all of the internals, gave it an R-Hop, and quite a few mods and turned it into a wonderful DMR. so overall it really isnt worth the $500 price tag. but if you have it, it makes a stunning gun if you can work with the internals.

"This gun is great, but the price is another story. It also has 40fewer fps than say the dboy or echo1 scar/mk16. It may be more sturdy, but fps and price are at cost to it. Same gun model, different price and weaker gearbox.

"I am honestly at a loss of words here. It's a very nice feeling gun. Very accurate and well balanced. I had really high hopes for this thing when it came in. I played my first game with it and it went very well. Then a day passed. And the cable on the fuse snapped off. Now I am still relatively new to Airsoft (a handful of months now) so I figured it was just a mistake made on my part. It was under warranty still so I ordered a new one and am going to send the old one in tomorrow. That was about a week and a half ago the first one broke. The new one came in last Monday and I took it out last Friday. The new one preformed just as the first did. After the match I put it into its case and have not touched it since. Opened it up again today. Fuse. Broken. Again. I just don't know what to do with this thing. Overall it is a very good gun but the fuse is breaking so often it makes it almost unusable the majority of the time. I will be contacting Evike again to get it refunded and I don't think I will be returning to this rifle which is really unfortunate. They really need to take a look at this gun because it could be so good.
TL;DR Amazing gun. Fuse box is the worst thing I have ever laid eyes on

"Be very cautious when buying this gun. When I got it it was perfect. I hadn't shot it yet but the overall esthetics look amazing. THE ONE ISSUE, which is honestly probably the biggest issue is that my gun does not firing correctly. I hooked it up to my 9.4v butterfly type battery that was fully charged and it never shot. So I did some testing. The power was getting to the trigger and it was fine but when I pulled the trigger it never worked. On the off occasion that it finally did shoot, it would shoot for like a couple seconds on semi-auto and then the trigger seized up. I am very disappointed in this gun and I wish it had better performance but it isn't worth the amount of money it costs.
