"I got this gun a couple months ago and I love it. it's a great gun, it's got nice fps, and holds up nice, like I said earlier I've had it for a few month and the dust cover, the hop up, and the mags still all work great. it not the most accurate gun ever but it gets pretty nice groups. Overall this is my favorite gun. It will make your enemy's tremble with fear from it's pure awesomeness!
Pros:
Feels great
Looks amazing ( love the way the front sight disappears)
Feeds good
Heavy
Comes with everything you need
Nice fps
Pretty accurate
Beautiful gun

Cons:
The front sight on mine Dosnt flip up on it's own like I should but no big deal
The Barrle on mine was slightly crooked( it's an easy fix though)
The stalk and the fire selector are a little loose but it's not so bad
The orange flash isn't an m4 flash and I can't take it off (it did come with a black one as well)

Overall it's an amazing sexy pice of equiptmemt. If your looking for a good gun for a decent price look no further. You will love it and won't be disappointed

"I would like to start off by saying that if you are looking for a decent priced but very good M16, then this is it. This thing is full metal (save the nylon grip and stock) and the forward RIS rail is integrated into the top rail making mounting optics very easy.it also has a functioning bolt catch, which is pretty cool, but WILL stop working after a week or so, well its not under warranty so... Now another great feature is that it is FULLY AMBITDEXTROUS, meaning the bolt catch, fire selector, and mag realease are on both sides of the gun, so it is excellent for left handed shooters. However, there is a downside to this, if you get a right handed ergonomic grip, it may not fit on beacause of the fire selector on the other side. I made this mistake, and tried to open up the gun to remove the selector switch, and after i had taken out every single screw, bolt, piece i could think of, i still couldnt get the darn thing open, and ended up simply prying off the fire selector on the other side, and now my fire selector is a little wierd, but no biggie.

Pros
+Full metal
+Very large rail perfect for mounted accesories
+Retractable stock (hardly any wobble if you tighten the screw inside the buffer tube)
+Excellet performance

Cons
-Mags have to be put in at the right angle otherwise they wont stay in. This problem goes away once you get use to the gun

+/-Functioning bolt catch, excellent for realism, but it WILL break
+/-Ambidextrous feature, great for left handed shooters and right handed shooters alike (i am right handed but i use the left handed mag realease, its easier), but all the parts through the gun make it impossible to open up. If anyone has opened it up then i suppose i just missed sumthing small :/

Overall
GREAT gun for the money. Buy it if you think your interested, you wont be disapointed

"I pre-ordered this gun back in February and just got it May 2nd, and let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Not only is this gun sturdy, but it is also pretty much all around amazing. The way the front sight folds into the rail and disappears is awesome. Most M4's look sorta odd if a barrel extension is added on but not this gun. Put that extension on, a scope, maybe some rail guards and you have one BA gun.

Pros:
-Nice FPS
-Rail
-Solid
-Accurate
-The battery that came with it is better than any other battery I've gotten with a gun
-Feels great
-Flip up sights
-Easy to get to the gearbox
-Bolt catch
-Heavy

Cons:
-Heavy
-The safety on the right side of mine was loose out of the box.
-Hop-up is a pain to take apart.
-A little bulky

Thats really it. This is an awesome gun. Easy to upgrade for sniping, and will jump you up in the style points.

"Excellent rifle, worth the price, it comes equipped with one 300-450 round hi-cap metal mag (Mine broke within a week, buy more :P), a cleaning rod, a 9.6V 1100 MaH battery (Nice.), the gun, which is nearly all metal except for some parts on the stock, and the pistol grip which is some material I do not know of (Not plastic nor metal, but high quality and comfortable.). I was pleased with the performance out of the box, but the hopup broke within a few days, I blame myself. After replacing the hopup with one of equal quality, the gun shoots far, accurate, and is excellent for CQB. I recommend for indoor use for best performance but it will work just fine outside.

Pros
-Very realistic
-Durable
-Comes with a good battery
-Comes with an iron sight
-Comes with a magazine
-Accurate
-Strong
-Sexy!
-I bought it on the black friday sale so it was a mere $160!

Cons
-Dust Cover breaks easily (They actually have a paper that says that the dust cover is not under warranty, meh.)
-The magazine that came with it and the two "Holy Cow" magazines that I bought broke within a week or two, a quick stop at a local store and the new one works just fine.
-A scope and bipod I found laying around fit wobbly, but do not fall off.
-Stock is slightly wobbly, but I would not expect it to be perfect.
-Feeds well on full and semi auto with good mags.

Overall: Recommended, buy spare mags, play indoors and spray bbs like a mad man. Only rule: Wear a mask even when you aren't shooting it, I nearly shot my eye while giving it some love and care even when the mag was out and it appeared to be on safety! (There was a bb stuck in there and the switch was not turned all the way on safe)

"This gun is absolutely amazing. The fps is great, this gun came with a 9.6v 1100mah battery. I reccommend getting a 9.6v 1600mah battery with a smart charger because if you use the wall charger that comes with it, it makes the 1600mah battery hot pretty fast and thats not good. The battery you want to get is the nun chuck battery(butterfly configuration). The gun is also about 36 inches long. I use .2 bbs for this gun.

pros: good fps
accurate
great feel, not to heavy not to light
easy to put battery in

cons: none

"Just got this for Christmas. First off, I must say that this gun appears smaller in person, and the body seems very sleek (I'm not familiar with the M4 platform, this is my first gun of that type). The gun is replicated to very exact specs, and will look exactly like a real steel if it wasnt for the orange tip.

Pros:

-FULL METAL (except for handgrip and crane stock)
-Metal is a steel and aluminum mixture (reduces weight i guess)
-RoF that is fast, but not too fast (9.6v battery included)
-Crane stock is good, although the plastic doesn't seem to well.
-Ambidextrious fire selector switch
-Realistic bolt and bolt catch (purpose is to cock back the hop up well, so you can adjust hop.)
-FPS is great out of the box (mid 300's)
-Haven't got a chance to dial in the hop up for accuracy, but judging this is an accurate gun

Cons:
-Front sight does not "flip up automatically" when pressed as stated in manual, and the front sight has some wobble, about +/- 5 degrees front and back...
-Mags wobble (not too bad, considering that most m4's mags wobble)
-Mine did not come with the sling mounts stated in the manual
-RIS after the upper receiver has the ability to twist to the right, only by 5 degrees CW.
-Fire selector isn't firm, but most aren't.

Overall, this is an excellent gun aside from the cons. It is definately a step up from the lower quality JG guns. This is a good buy, but some parts could be tweaker by the manufacturer to make it an even better rifle. Also, there appears to be realistic trademarks on the right side of the receiver (not sure what the real ones are, but it seems to be :/)

"I love this gun all the metal parts are awesome the charging handle works phenomenally but the bolt stop not so much upon opening the box you see the gun and a mag with the batt&charger i got a chance to fire the weapon it had a surprising amount of recoil for an aeg very very very accurate EVEN W/O a tight-bore barrel!!!!!!! I highly recommend to any one looking for a full metal gun with the ability to go from short-mid range to long range quickly i would recommend this weapon for a spotter or a team leader

Pros
* FULL METAL
*9.6V BATTERY INCLUDED
*GOOD RANGE 100-160FT
*VERY ACCURATE (ENOUGH TO MAKE A SNIPER JEALOUS)
*AMAZING RAILS
*CRANE STOCK
*BATTERY IS EASY TO GET TO
*ABILITY TO SNIPE AND THEN QUICKLY CHANGE ROLES INTO ASSAULT,RECON, ECT.
*VERY DETAILED DESIGN
*ONCE BROKEN IN THE MAGWELL OPERATES FLAWLESSLY (PLZ NOTE THT IT *WILL* BE VERY HARD TO GET MAGS OUT BEFORE BROKEN IN FOR ME IT TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR OF PUTTING THE MAG IN AND TAKING IT OUT CONSTANTLY TO BREAK IN THE MAGWELL )

CONS
*NOT VERY BUDGET FRIENDLY BUT FOR AN AEG THAT IS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN A TM FOR THIS PRICE IS AN AMAZING BUY
*WORST CON IS THAT YOU DONT HAVE IT SO GET IT

"This SR-15 makes me feel like an idiot. when i began airsofting i bought really crappy like 300 dollar guns. Once i got this gun it made all the difference.

Pros
dead accurate
durable
price
range (got 2 head shots at 200 feet. NO JOKE)
realistic weight
metal RIS, trigger, mag
carbon stock and pistol grip
can be used for CQC if needed

Cons
when i took the gun out of the box the selector switch was looks and only kinda clicks when switching between safe and auto
the battery that comes with the gun is ok but if you get the Intellect 9.6V Small Type 1600mAh Airsoft Battery Pack (Butterfly Configuration) there are 2 bands holding the U-shaped black wire to the ones that go into the battery connector and made it a little harder to put in but it does work eventually...

other then those two problems this is the best gun ive ever bought and it was worth the wait!
by Amir A. on 03/13/2014
"This gun is SWEET!

The auto/semi & saftey swtich is on both sides,
Nice fps, good weight, the battery is really easy to get in,
the grip and crane stock is made of strong plastic.

im kinda sad the fore grip isn't included, and i regret not buying a scope with my order...

"This gun is great its very sturdy and powerfull the only drawback I've found is the description says there is a spot for a one point sling but unless I'm just completely stupid and missed it there isn't one.

"I’ve owned this platform for roughly half a year now and have put it through its paces so I think I’m in a good situation to leave an accurate review. I’ll start with the good.

Out of the box, chrono’d around 375-400 using .20s. Accurate, mid tier ROF, has a solid feel to it, and a lot of modularity due to it being an AR platform. It definitely holds its ground against many other guns out there and for that I definitely recommend it for the price point.

The bad… About 3 months in, I started to experience the infamous buffer tube wobble many other commenters touch on. After doing some research, the typical fix was tightening the long screw inside the buffer tube. Unfortunately for my gun, this wasn’t a permanent fix and within a few minutes of light use it would be wobbling again (nearly unusable). I tried loctite, Teflon tape and even taking my AR wrench to the castle nut to really secure it down all to no success. Not ideal in my opinion.

I ultimately ended up purchasing a CYMA M4 buffer tube replacement kit which didn’t cost too much thankfully. So far the replacement parts seem to be doing the job thus far. Fingers crossed they continue to hold up.

With the exception of the very unfortunate buffer tube wobble issue (which is overcome-able but unacceptable), it’s a very solid gun. Just tread lightly when purchasing and be prepared to potentially replace some parts if need be.

"Just like in the desert fox video mine had the same issue with the buffer tube and dust cover. I tried tightening the screw, and that would work momentarily but eventually it would loosen up again. I was finally able to fix the issue by installing a slightly bigger washer piece. (The piece the screw passes through before it enters the gearbox, the piece with a cut out for wires to bass by)
