A&K M16-A3 NS15 Full Metal Lipo Ready Airsoft AEG Rifle

"This gun was my first AEG purchase. For a beginner, this gun is perfect. It is at a perfect price. You get a battery charger and some cheap bb's. The Matrix bb's are as good as Airsfot Elite. This gun has a long range and the hop up is easily accesed. It's not good for CQB however it's perfect for the outdoors. The removable carrying handle has a nice full metal picatinny rail for any optic you want. Mag holds 300 rounds and is full metal.

"Pretty much the same as the other M16s, it has high accuracy and is just a great gun. I put metal bushings and shims in this. Great gun for the money and can compete with high end AEGs.

"Great value. Impressive rate of fire with a 11.1v battery. Kinda cheap feeling but it survived a day long milsim game no problem. Lite weight balances well. Hop up works with 0.28's but as you increase the hop up the bb will curve to the right so not sure if it will handle anything heavier.

My one complaint is that the velocity with 0.20 bbs is 375-385fps well below the advertised velocity of 430-460. Which is disappointing because I wanted this as more of a dmr rifle. Debating on asking for a replacement spring to get this beast up to speed.

"Loved the gun solid and efficient, only problems I have are that A, the fps is nowhere what it says ranges only about 380 on a good day, B the motor is pretty bad so I'd recommend getting that swapped out for a 30k motor other than that with an 11.1v lipo and a whole lot of mags and ammo this gun will serve you for years.

"You get what you pay for. Most of the guns currently in my collection are higher end, and compared to them, this rifle really isn't that bad. It has good range, it chronoes at about 350 fps with .25s, and it sure looks great. My only gripes are that the handguard feels hollow and flimsy, and the metal feels weak.

Wonderful gun. Perfect for beginners.

"Gun is pretty nice. This was my first air-soft rifle and I’m impressed. The gun has a nice feel and is light weight. Feels amazing to hold. It shoot consistently and fast. Only problems are the loose hand guard and wiggling mag, but those aren’t too noticeable. Overall great gun would recommend.

"Okay, I got this rifle a few days ago and have been experimenting with it for a bit. I do not have a chronograph, but based on my other rifles, I would estimate that with .20s it is shooting the advertised FPS. The rifle shoots very consistently, but it is only really effective to about 150 feet. I have found that after that, all bbs from .2s to .36s have a tendency to drift hard to the left, outside of the 32mm optic I have. I tried an Angel Custom 575mm barrel (6.01), and found that it actually aggravated the issue. It is possible that the issue is with the hop giving it a slight side spin, but that is how it shoots out of the box. On the other hand, I really like the spring on the outside of the hop-up unit. Rather than the skinny, easily bendable and lost spring that attaches to the pin on the front, there is a large spring that actually goes around the front of the unit and inside the outer barrel. Overall, I would say it is a good rifle, and you get your money's worth. You could probably make it into a DMR with a little bit of work.
So a general overview:

PROS:
-liPo ready
-high ROF
-great consistency
-metal receivers and gears
-good motor
-easy to modify
-high FPS (for an AEG)

CONS:
-magazines wobble in the well
-orange tip was a pain to remove

"Bought this about two or so weeks ago. So far pleased. Test fired it with both the battery it came with and another small type I have. LIke it so far, sounds a little weird, but that may be because I was under a patio with horrible accoustics. Won't be able to field it for a while as the field I go to is starting night games next week until August.

Pros: Lightweight
sounds hard hitting for a budget rifle
Fun to aim with

Cons: little too lightweight
Feels slightly fragile
Not too much else.

"This gun is one of the best purchases I've made in Airsoft, it was actually my first purchase for Airsoft nearly 6 years ago and it's still working perfectly fine, never had to strip the gun, never really had to do anything with it. I bought the OLD version of this gun too, and it works incredibly well. It's perfect for a beginners gun. I can fit a 9.6 large type in the stock perfectly I've never had any trouble fitting a battery into this gun, I don't know what the fuss is about.

Pros:
Lightweight
Affordable
Accurate to about 80 feet
Good FPS
ROF is great with a 9.6

Cons:
None
You'd have to be retarded or just really not careful with your weapon to break this plastic, I've never even chipped it in my 6 years of outdoor play with this gun. I recommend getting a good sling though.

"Very good considering the price that you pay. Consistently shoots around 380fps, and gets some pretty good range if you mess with the hopup a little bit. Unfortunately, the hopup bucking included is really not that consistent, so it will start to shoot everywhere during full auto fire. Its pretty solid, and a little weighty, the internals are good and the exterior is pretty durable considering its made of plastic.
The only issue right now is that the handguard has a lot of wobble to it, but it's not really that big of a deal.

Pros:
-Strong
-Accurate in semi auto mode
-Good ROF for an 8.4v gun
-Surprisingly good stock battery

Cons:
-Hopup is inconsistent firing automatic or bursts
-Handguard has a lot of wobble

That's pretty much it, the first thing you should do is get a new hopup bucking and a tighbore barrel; it will add a surprising amount of range and accuracy to this thing. Get a better battery though, the stock one is fine, but if you plan to use this competitively then I suggest either going Li-Po for higher fire rate and lifespan, or getting a 3,000+ mAh battery for a longer play time. Certainly worth the money.

"Pro's: lightweight
good trigger response
great rof for an 8.4

Cons: plastic
hop up dramatically changes fps
range isnt that far
dust cover sucks

Overall this gun is good for a novice player who wants to start off with a decent gun but i wouldnt recommend it if you were an experienced player

"This was my first AEG and my main airsoft weapon. It is pretty strong and the accuracy is very good. The only downsides to this gun is there is a slight wobble in the barrell which I find incredibly annoying, and the gun does slow down a little bit the longer you have it. I would reccomend this as a starter gun for anyone new to airsoft. It's a pretty good value for the price

"i've had mine 4 about half a year and im satisfied...not the best gun out there, but for the price and 2 free mags....its pretty good

pros:
nice range
decent rof for the price
upgradable
2 free mags (evike special)

cons:
quality isnt the best but its alright
only 1 rail
easy battery installation
accuracy

conclusion:
not bad 4 the price...really nice range but its not accurate...my brother has the cyma ak74u and its much more accurate but doesnt shoot as far...if ur lookn 4 an m16 base gun...get it, but get a tightbore and a better hop up
by Harry M. on 06/14/2016
"My friend has this gun. It has a crazy rate of fire with an 11.1v lipoly. Good range for an m16. I Have not had to fix anything on this gun so far. Great gun for the money
