"This is a great little gun. Some of the reviews seem a bit off, so I'll try best I can to clear some stuff up. It is a heavy gun. I believe it's right at 5-6 lbs. There IS an adjustable hop-up on the gun. It's a tab located under the front foregrip covering. The rear sling adapter is full metal and as far as I can tell a full loop. I can't forsee any problems from a sling slipping out.

My gun chrono'd right at 300 fps with .25 BBs. This is an outstanding gun for CQB settings. The range is not too impressive but it spits out BBs at a decent rate. The magazine well fits as well as any other MP5 magazine well I've seen. The battery slides in through the top from the back. It ends up blocking the cocking lever from coming back once it's in. It is a slight pain to change since you have to take out several pins, so don't expect to easily field change the battery.

All in all, it's a solid gun. No rattling (other than mags which is common and fixable with electric tape) or loose pieces. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a CQB weapon or full auto sidearm. Just be wary of the weight, which I prefer over a light gun.

"This gun is amazing. It is mostly metal. Even the ABS lower receiver it is very durable and feels metal. It shoots great! :) I do recommend a better battery. I ordered a cheap 8.4v by matrix and it did make a small difference. Perfect for someone new to airsoft & knows they will stay in the sport.

"It is a very good gun. It does not do extreemly well for field but it is proficent, get an extra battery and mag. when you get the gun cuz it needs 'em for a lot of playing.

1) Battery isn't easy to put in every time
2) Charging handle isn't functional when battery is in
3) Hop up unit doesn't work at all
4) Fires straight for about 70-90 feet. After that they fly high off to the sunset.
5) Accuracy suffers cuz you don't have a stock
6) Description says 1500 mah but the one in the box was 1100 mah

Conclusion

Considering the price, discount and the fact it comes with a battery, its an awesome deal. Its ideal for CQB or a secondary AEG when your primary is down. Theres a lot of functions for this gun and its highly recommended. Only 2 real problems I have is that the battery as advertise says 1500 mah but when I got it, it was 1100 mah. False advertising _:( Also the Hop Up unit doesn't work at all, flies straight for 70 feet before flying high and everywhere but it is a short barrel weapon so can't complain too much.

"I bought this gun about a month ago. ive already used it a ton. overall its a very sturdy gun. its all metal and the ris system is very cool on the mp5 models. accuracy is not stellar(suggest getting a tightbore inner barrel.

"I got one of these two years ago for my birthday and loved it. It has amazing rate of fire, fps and range for its size, and it is incredibly reliable. I later decided to sell it to a buddy of mine to buy a G&G Raider but it constantly needed repairs. Just recently I purchased my second one and am now using it as my primary since most places we go to are fairly close quarters. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS GUN!!! (Another nice thing about it is that you can add a folding stock to it if necessary.)

"This gun is outstanding! This was my first A.E.G. and it is still my best and favorite after buying over 5 other A.E.G.'s. The gun itself is very impressive with a combination of looks and feel right out of the box. The FPS is pretty high (400+), but not too high to not be able to use it at public fields. For a replica of an SMG, I was blown away by the combination of range and dead-on accuracy. Another praise-worthy trait of this gun is the high rate of fire when using a 9.6v battery. I easily out-gun my friends with this weapon and it will never leave my armory. Out of five stars, I would give it six...and a half. Without a doubt, the best A.E.G. that I have owned (and this is stacking up against G&G's, A&K's, and a couple KWA's). Get this gun!
