"First a Correction:
Received mine with a rear wired small tamiya connector. This was a great win for me.
* I am so impressed with this AEG! Price aside, the performance of this M4 is on par with the Lancer Tactical Gen 2 Pro-Hybrid offerings.
* The Microswitch Trigger is the shining star internally.
Because of it being rear wired, taking the handguard and off and punching out the pins on the front sight assembly is a breeze. I was able to have a cost effective 14" M-LOK handguard which is a perfect length for this one piece outer barrel.
* I am very content with the polymer elements of this AEG. My first M4 was alloy and found myself wishing I had something lighter. I ended up with an ARP9 and found I lost serious range. Length of the inner barrel is 14", and effective range is not a problem. Swapped it out with a 6.01 steel inner and a maple leaf bucking with matching tensioner and I didn't find enough of a difference. So I went back with the lighter brass inner barrel and love the feel of this.
- The only con I could find is the regulation flash hider is affixed with strong glue and a solid pin. It takes cutting if you want to be able to remove it in order to remove the front sight assembly. So pick up a fresh orange tip.

"Back in 2019 I got the Tan mk18 style version of this gun. I will continue to this day say that this was probably the best gun I have ever bought. Sadly I don’t have it anymore because I decided I wanted to get a full metal Mk18 from EMG. However I will say the Matrix M4 with the mk18 handguard is probably the best bang for your buck gun you will find on the site. It has an amazing trigger response and the rate of of fire is amazing as well. I have run this gun in many milsim events as well as Community games at my local field. This is the best sounding gun I have ever had, and best preforming gun I’ve ever had. 10/10 on everything across the board. If you are a new player just starting out, or even an experienced player just looking for a lighter gun while keeping that performance. This is the gun for you. I will recommend this gun to everyone that is looking to buy a new gun. 10/10

"I went to airsoft field once, used rental, and then bought this for the next weekend. That is how Rookie I am. But I am stoked by this gun. I can’t think of any reason to upgrade. Shoots super good, durable, combo with some 40 mikes and hot damn! My son has a Krytac and I don’t think I would switch. This gun is just super fun.

"CONTEXT: I ordered the (URX 8"/350 FPS)
The gun is primarily made up of a Nylon Polymer but it has metal where it needs it. The parts where its metal are the upper rail, trigger, charging handle, dust cover, front iron sight, and the Gearbox. With the Electronic Trigger Unit and MOSFET, this gun handles an 11.1v LiPo/LiIon without a problem. The trigger response is quick and satisfying. Battery used was the 11.1v LiIon nunchuck battery by Matrix. I highly recommend purchasing this gun if you are a beginner. Not only is it relatively cheap compared to other guns, but at this price-point, You'll never find anything better. So stop wasting time and stop second-guessing yourself. BUY THIS GUN!

"Got to play with it for my first time and let me tell ya, This thing packs heat. shooting around 360 with pretty good range. Hop up came a little messed up but got it working again.

"Just got mine today and I am super surprised by the performance. Kinda thought it was gonna feel on the low end, but nope, I was dead wrong. Shot it roughly 175' after adjusting the hop up and unloaded the included bamf mag (190rnd mag) and damn does it have some power. Trigger response is exceptional and the rotary style hop up is firm enough not to move with your shots. Only things I want to change are the plastic recievers and the plastic buffer tube. Outside of that this is a fantastic starter kit, or a primary kit for anyone

"OMG was his package is AMAZING! First off the gun! It’s is very well built and has a very strong body and has a G2 gear box! It has a very vary durable polymer body and preforms amazingly! however putting the battery in can be a little tricky but that’s not a big deal . Second the accessories! The red/green dot sight is pretty nice. It’s very durable and looks slick! Then there the batteries with the charger these are amazing batteries and have great battery life! Then the mags. The mid cap (I got a BAMF mid cap) is very niche and feeds very well, no problems, them the high cap, the high cap is very durable it being full metal! However I have had a couple jams but that’s an easy fix! Overall this package is a steal. I got it on sale. If it’s not on sale STILL BUY IT! Of you are even considering this package don’t reconsider. It is with your money!

"I've been testing it yesterday and today.
The accuracy for the price is great
It feel pretty dam sturdy for a 160$ gun
It says 380-400fps
Mines (348-356) fps based on my chrono
So i will test now if , the bucking, barrel, or hopup
Is the culprit. Maybe even throw in my lonex piston kit and see of thats it.
I thought maybe the spring is weaker than advertised but I'd like to see if i can get that extra fps out of my gun without upping the spring.
Both guns
I got recently advertised 380 to 400fps and its 350 so maybe thats just how it is idk

"Like it!!! Best Gun for $150
The Gun is accurate, long range, reliable, sturdy, and realistic.
Got gun because I did not want to spend a lot of money on some fancy one (I only play airsoft about 6 times a year).
Love the metal rail and short accurate barrel.
Over all outstanding Gun. Thank You Evike for supplying such a GREAT Gun!!!
God Bless... Keep up the good work.

"Great weapon for me so far just as a fun gun to shoot in the back yard. Very accurate and feels all around well made. For $80 price range this would be a perfect fit for anyones first AEG.

"This gun is an amazing out of the box gun for beginners. I've shot stock raiders, stock elite forces, and stock valkens none of which were as snappy as this one shoots with upgraded internals so you don't have to go cracking open the gearbox and losing parts. I am blown away by the price to performance ratio and will be recommending this to others

"Finally played a game with this gun. For 120~ dollars, this is without a doubt the best gun for a starter. This thing can easily compete with higher end guns and still be accessible to someone looking to get into the hobby on a budget. I purchased the "DARK EARTH URX 8 inch" model
Pros:
- It has a rotary hopup, mosfet and a micro switch which are usually things you only find in guns above the $200 mark.
- Out of the box it can handle an 11.1v lipo which i highly recommend since the extra power makes the gun snappier and gives it a higher ROF.
- Surprisingly good range (I was getting kills at a little more than 150 ft consistently)
- Since it has a mosfet, high torque moter and a metal gearbox: This gun should be very reliable from an airsoft tech perspective (This is an estimate though since i havent used this gun for a very long time)
- Price for what you get is unbeatable. Nothing else in this price range has a mosfet, microswitch, rotary hopup, and can handle high output 11.1v lipos out of the box.
Cons:
- The body construction is primarily polymer so it doesn't feel super realistic. However it is a durable and stiff polymer that doesnt feel flimsy or fragile.
If youre looking for a reliable gun to get into the hobby or even just a loaner gun, this is the best option for this price range

"my very first AEG
got it when it was FIRST came out with the huge discount
over all i like it very much, cant beat the price with all the stuff came with it(battery, red dot, charges, extra mag)
things that i upgraded was an angel custom inner barrel, and metal buffer tube(comes with plastic buffer tube, cant really hang it with sling at the back of the stock)
be aware that the inner barrel is 250MM ! ! !
the product description says 230MM is WRONG
it IS 250 mm
i bought the 250mm due to 230mm out of stock and eventually i got it right...LOL
stock barrel towards 50 feet away target has around 18 inches square spread (umarex .25 and evike japan spec .25)
angel custom barrel(250mm) towards 50 feet away target has around 6 inches spread (umarex .25 and evike japan spec .25)
stock spring with above BB shoots around 360 FPS(using AceTech AC5000 Chronograph)
m95 spring shoots 317-320 FPS(good for most american indoor having 350FPS with .20 limit) *** of course FPS may varies
sorry didnt test with m110 or 115 for outdoor:(

"This rifle is very good and reliable right out of the box. I haven't even modified it much and I still hit people at a good distances. The price is right in the middle so you are still getting a lot of bang for your buck. Good trigger feel and light.
