"First off, I love the pistol. It's accurate, reliable, and easy to use.

Here's a con for you:
While the barrel is threaded 14mm negative, the thread pitch makes it incompatible with most of the thread protectors, suppressors, etc. out there. I have personally tried about 7 devices that work on other 14mm negative barrels...but not this one.

It would have been 5 star if the thread pitch was compatible with more products.

This one works:

"The gray version has raised sights if you want to add a suppressor. That helps.
My biggest gripe with this pistol is the mag release button. It doesn't take much to eject the mag, which is good, if you know it's happening. I almost lost a pricey Co2 mag mid-event.
I had a weird moment when the gun was misfeeding and I was either getting a full auto response, until the slide locked back, or no fire and the BBs rolled out.
I do believe it might've been just a mag issue.
Being able to use both Co2 and green gas is a major perk though.

"An amazing sidearm with very consistent accuracy, and pretty loud, which is a pro for me. But if you play in a very dirty or dust area I suggest a constant cleaning and re-lubing of the slide on this gun, which you should do with all gas blowbacks but this one especially I've been experiencing an excessive amount of jamming even with how often I clean and lube it. That is the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars.

"First let me say that I treat my airsoft rifles/pistols with care and only use the pistol for target practice .It is very solid and durable. The finish is nicely done and doesn't scratch easily.Only Problem I had was that the safety selector came loose but does not effect the function of the safety at all.Overall a great pistol .

"This thing is awesome, the handling, action, and power are all very realistic and overall one bad mother.
I've been experiencing issues with mine and I will be going over those as well as things I find to be nice.
Pros and cons will be at the end.

Out of the box this thing is impressive for something that isn't a firearm. You would honestly think that without the orange tip it might as well be the real thing. I'd give a 9/10 as far as aesthetics go, there is a box that is labeled made in taiwan, and one that says read manual before use. They are very small, and don't bother the careless eye, but I wish they weren't embedded so I could possibly sand them off and flush.

As far as ergonomics go, it feels fantastic in hand, at many different angles and grips. It does feel a bit squared on the pistol grip, but the stippling allows a strong bond between your hand and tool. The barrel is very close to the top of the weapon, so it improves the relationship between your eye and the projectile path. Mock suppressors will hide the iron sights, but come on... it's airsoft.
Personally I'm right handed, so the whole ambidextrous thing doesn't have any effect on me. But if you are a lefty, the only thing you will have access to is the safety. I'm not sure why the made it both sides for that and nothing else, but it's there.

Shooting took me by surprise, this is my first GBB. I've owned many co2 air guns, airsoft and .177 and I've always loved the extra power. But the blowback takes the cake in this new and mysterious realm of exploration.
I can't attest to the range or accuracy of this weapon due to my hop up. (I'll explain later.)
However, the shots I can get out are around 20ft in a straight line, and anything beyond that is like shooting a mortar. Nice and high with an arc, which means you must play very close quarters.
I'm using .20 bio bbs, and the sound made from hitting metal or trees sounds very intimidating. I don't want to be on the receiving end by any means, but the included "tested by:" tag showed it chronographs 340-370FPS.

I've used a -14mm mock suppressor, -14mm barrel extension with a -14mm amplifier, flashlight, and a folding fore grip. I will note that the recommended mock suppressor on the page does not have an internal barrel, and will not boost your range. Also BB's can get trapped inside of the suppressor from roll out and aren't easy to bounce out.
All the accessories I've tried out have been very nice additions. The rail is in a good position to place a flashlight or a laser at a comfortable distance. The threads on the barrel were coated with paint, and it was very difficult to apply the suppressor for the first time. But once it's been worn down a bit, the threading gets very smooth. The o-ring was destroyed in 24 hours from having it too tight I suppose. My order also failed to include the orange thread protector. It says on the front of the box that one is included. The email support says it's due to the manufacturer and I could try a different order but it may also not contain one. This isn't a huge deal, but the suppressor adds weight and it may be nice to shed that weight for a game without worrying about your threads.

Field stripping is a blessing, just like the real steel, you can remove the slide lock and release the upper receiver with little to no knowledge of firearms. There you will find a set screw for your hop up. Mine unfortunately does not appear to have any effect on my shots. Turning the screw reveals a spring like sound, which is nothing new, I've seen springy screws before. But it seems to just turn indefinitely without actually changing anything mechanical. I tried using a headlamp to look into the hole inside the barrel for hop up, and turning the screw has no visual effect. I've been in touch with support and tech via email, and I'm considering exchanging for this reason.

I'd lastly like to conclude with the magazine. Wow are they efficient. You can stack 25 BB's in an alternating pattern all the way up. Which is a huge amount of ammo for a pistol. The construction seems incredibly sturdy, and the co2 seal feels better and smoother than any other piece I've owned. I get around 100-125 shots before the co2 is out. So you could totally get by with only a couple magazines for a game if you are a good shot.
Now one the magazine that I ordered as a spare has been giving me some stranger issues on it's own.
The included magazine works without any error. When you've run out of ammo, the slide automatically locks back, letting you know you are out. If the slide is closed when you insert a fresh magazine, the slide must be racked to shoot the first BB, just like in real life.
The spare magazine does not lock when it's empty, and allows me to dry fire until I notice.
It also has a weird mechanical error, where the firing action goes crazy full auto for several shots, even though I've only pulled the trigger once. It can also feel like something is out of phase, where something internal feels like it's half seated and makes the action behave very strangely. The only way I've found to correct this is to take the mag out, release the hammer, reinsert the magazine, rack it and fire away. Even after that it will sometimes continuously shoot in a weird way. It's hard to describe, but you can feel something is wrong compared to when it fires normally.

Pros:
Appearance
Excellent handling
Realistic weight
CQC friendly power
Threaded free float barrel
Strong blowback
Full metal upper slide
Heavy duty polymer lower
Nice magazine design
Ammo capacity

Cons
Thread protector not included
Possible faulty hop up (still discussing with tech)
Halfway ambidextrous
The hammer will fire even if lowered gently
Strange mechanical issues

Thank you to the support and tech teams for being able to reply to my emails in a fair amount of time!
If it is possible, I may edit this review in the future if I decide to return for the hop up.

"This gun is great. Amazing design and quality. Slide feel very durable and gives a really hard kick. The internals are very very tough and i doubt they will ever fail. Lubing and dissassembly is veyr easy. Mags are decent. You can see my co2 magazine review on this gun on that page. Trigger is really nice and sights are very visible.when the gun cycles. It scratches off the paint on the outer barrel where on the real gun is ejecting shells. And threaded outer barrel is a really good plus. Range is good and hop up is very tought but a bit harder to tune. Overall this gun is amazing and i highly suggest buying it.

"My third ASG/KJW CZ P-09..Everything I said about the original all black model goes for this FDE version but with a bit of a plus.

The trigger action on this version is even smoother. Terrific smooth double action and the single action is also very good, but I do wish there was a bit of a stop before the let off.

Accuracy and range are still there and, as before, the pistol really shines when using C02 magazines. Green Gas does ok in warm conditions, but the C02 power really gives you the power and reach. Three dot sights remain the same and are among the best out there. Very fast in getting lined up on target.

While everyone seems to be looking for the threaded barrels on these pistols, I prefer the standard length outer barrel as I cant remember the last time I used a mock suppressor. It does look Tacticool, but I like the more clean look of the standard barrel.

There is really no down side to the ASG/KJW P-09. If your looking for a really good, strong, accurate, well made and performing airsoft GBB at a really good price, you cant miss with this.

"So I do like this gun, and it feels great, it shoots great and cycles smooth, but as other people have said, the magazines crap out pretty quickly. I had to take my mag completely apart and clean/lubricate every single piece with Rem Oil to get it to work without dumping all the C02 out the top. After I did that it lasted maybe 2-3 mags and then dumped the gas out again. Also the plate on the bottom of the mag is really flimsy and broke in half (mag came out when I drew the pistol, cause the large mag release)

It's got some issues, but if you don't mind excessive maintenance then go for it.

"Pros:

Very hard hitting

Accurate

Gas efficient

Reliable

Cons:

Trigger has broken on both of my p09’s, might be a problem with the return spring

"I've had the CZ P-09 for a couple weeks now and overall it is a solid pistol. It is a good weight and very accurate out of the box.

The only complaints i have are as follows:

The mag drops super easily, especially if you are left handed or holster the weapon in a snug holster.
Doesn't come with different back grips for the palm of your hand.

And finally, and this is a big one.

I have constant jamming problems with it. Doesn't matter what Co2, bb weight or brand, or temp. The slide will stop at the bb as it is trying to feed. (i think this may just be that the mag is too good at holding the bb in place.) I will be sanding down the mag a little to see if that helps.

"This is a nice gun. But later on I experienced a issue with the gbb. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the internal hammer that hits the gas nozzle. Wouldn't let enough gas out to properly blow back. Also due to that it would get caught up on the next bb from mag. I like the fell to it.

Idk wat to replace it with.

"This gun is over all amazing i love it but for me when i opened it the mag started to leak and the co2 life was halfed this made this gun purchase not so good for me but its amazing i bought a new clip and ot works perfect so i dont know.
