"Let me start off by saying I love this gun. I really do. Right out of the box it's by far the nicest looking airsoft gun I've ever held. It has incredibly comfortable ergonomics, very clean looking external features (except the bolt catch which I'll get to later) and really, my only "cons" are more or less quality of life issues. Charged up the 7.4 LiPo I bought with it, took it outside and it immediately proceeded to out perform my Krytac as far as stock accuracy and RoF. On semi, this thing is a tack driver. On automatic? It's hatred incarnate. I shot this thing outside at night time with fairly poor light. And I could SEE the stream of bbs essentially amounting to a solid line. The rate of fire on this rifle is simply impressive. And its ability to maintain that accuracy on automatic is equally impressive. The trigger response to me feels really quite nice, and although I haven't fielded it yet, I certainly look forward to doing so. Now, on to the section people ACTUALLY read; Pro/Con.

Pros:
- Looks downright sexy
- Impressive rate of fire
- Equally impressive accuracy
- Solid, feels very well built. Has a bit more weight to it than the average Krytac.
- QD rail is a very nice touch
- MLOK

Cons:
- Dust cover doesn't actually close
- No sling attachment point on the receiver (It does NOT have an ambi plate like the page says)
- Bolt catch is not functional, and flaps around when you move
- Battery access is rather user-unfriendly.
- Stock is very tight (hard to adjust)
- LOADS of stickers all over it.
- Packaging leaves much to be desired (thrown in a box with minimal padding)

All in all this is a great gun that I'm sure I will be using for years to come, and as I said these cons are entirely quality of life/ease of use issues, and not glaring defects, and could easily be fixed by a solid tech and a couple extra dollars of work. The price is a little steep for what you get, considering you could easily go out and buy any Krytac you wanted for this price point and have money left over. Honestly this review teeters between three and four stars for me, as I don't really care for the fact I'm going to have to spend more money to get a 500 dollar gun up to some basic ease of use expectations. And the page's advertisement of an ambi sling plate (It's an Ambi-End Plate) is simply untrue. I work with firearms parts on a daily basis and the end plate on this gun is not ambidextrous, it's a standard receiver end plate without sling clip attachments.

"The box it came in already made me feel like it was something special; it was a nice smooth white box that overall was super nice. When I first laid my eyes upon this beauty I immediately feel in love with it. I upgraded the hop up with a prowin and the barrel with a 6.03 madbull barrel and it was shooting amazing. The mid cap mag it came with is very strong and durable, and I am planning to order more. The hi cap mags are nice, and seem to last pretty long too. The problems I had with it was that the rail became loose, and it would just wriggle all over the place, which really annoyed me. It was extremely difficult to get the rail off. In the video it showed that all you had to do was push the pin out and basically slide the rail off, and it would be that easy. In fact, taking the rail off easily to have a different loadout on the gun was suppose to be a perk. It took me about 6 hours trying to figure out how to take the rail off to try and fix the wriggling rail. I used a hammer, pliers, and many other tools to try and get the pin off; I even called friends to help me with this problem. I literally just ended up standing on the gun and using all my might to pull the pin out, and it finally came out. I tightened up the rail after that, and now its good, but still difficult to take the pin out, and now very scratched up from all the tools I used to pull the freakin pin out. For how much I spent on this gun this shouldn't be a problem. Overall I love this gun, but for me to scratch and bang up my gun for something that should be pretty easy to pull out kind of pissed me off.
Pro:
Good mid cap mags and Hi cap
Sexy AF
Good presentation for gun
Easy to take apart
Makes you look like a bada$$
Realistic
shoots great
Cons:
The rail became loose for some reason
The pin to take rail off was extremely difficult to take out

"First of all, this gun looks and feels amazing. It fires great, accurately and smoothly. The "jailbreak" replica is one of the coolest looking designs I've seen in a while! I also love the feel of the grip and the accurate markings on the lower reciever! Because of the performance and look of the gun I automatically give it a 4/5. However, the pros also come with cons.
Right out of the box I noticed a lot of the parts including the buffer tube and top rail were loose and wobbly feeling. Nothing was tightened making it noisy when moving around.
I also noticed scratches and chips out of the paint near the magwell like someone had tried shoving metal mags into it without looking. I also noticed another chip on the rail. Not that it matters all that much (it will get used and show wear and tear over time) but for the price of this gun and the amp around it, I feel that the paint should be flawless right out of the box.
My final issue I have is how tight the mags fit into the magwell. Don't get me wrong, having loose wobbly mags is never fun, but having to shove/force the mag (that it comes with) into the gun and having to yank it back out makes for awkward quick reloads.
All in all, I love this gun! With a little tightening and adjustments here and there, it makes for a very solid airsoft m4. As for the flaws in the paint, I don't know if I got an opened box model or what. I just think for $432 it should be as clean and sleek as shown online.

PROS 4/5
-Sexy accurate replica
-Fires great
-Shoots straight

CONS 0/5
-Loosely put together
-Scratched/chipped paint right out of the box
-Kind of expensive $$$
-Tight magwell making it hard to change mags

"I honnestly wish I could give it a better review. My biggest gripe is the finish quality. Granted the gun is beautiful, I really wish they spent a bit more on the finish. For being such an expensive gun you would expect the finish to be excellent. Well.... it's not. The reciever and rails scratch with minimal effort. Also, not sure if it's quality control error or what, but both mine and my friends have the outer barrel slightly canted upward. It isn't much, but with this price tag I was expecting better. So, when attaching the jail break, you have to slightly force it downwards. Also, as mentioned in another review, the charging handle and the packaging weren't the greatest.

Would I buy this again? Yeah, I would. The issues I mentioned are minnor, and it might just be from the first batch only. The look of gun is beautiful, and the internals were as expected. I just wish that the attention to detail quality was a bit better.

"To start this off I would like to say that this gun was great while it lasted. But unfortunately that didn’t last long as within three weekends the motor burnt out and the gearbox cracked, I would’ve fixed it but unfortunately mine was stolen. I will say the build quality is amazing with this rifle and the internals for the most part are decent, I don’t know if I would go as far as to say it’s worth this price tag but if you have the money and have a tech nearby feel free to.

"Due too poor packaging i need to give this product a 4 star. not the products fault, cause the guns quality is more then a 5 star. the gun came wrapped with with bubble wrap in the case.what i found odd was that there were some sand grain on the gun, some in the magwell.

on the muzzle device one of the slot pins was bent. i had to manually force this to put it back in place.

Internally wise it sucks. upgrade the motor because this comes with a G&P m120 that are known to fail over time. i would change the piston gears and motor.

i bought the non ITAR version so i at least expected the certificate of authentication.

I must admit tho that the externals are super high quality and the engravings are excellent.

Fix your packaging Evike!

"Pros:
-Cool rail system and muzzle device
-Nice external accessories (Magpul stock, PTS motor grip, replica aimpoint)
-Box LOOKS nice (more about this in the cons), and comes with a certificate of authenticity
-Performance is good, not great, but good

Cons:
-Some minor quality issues (i.e. the muzzle does not exit the forend straight, crunchy feeling charging handle, qd rail wobble)
-Abysmal packaging - The only padding in the box is on the top and bottom, and the accessories it's shipped with float around with the gun. Mine came with plenty of dings and scratches in the finish.

Overall, I really like this gun. If it wasn't for the packaging, this would easily be a 4 star gun at least. It baffles me that a high end $400+ gun gets shipped in a box that pretty much guarantees it will take some minor damage during shipping.

"I must first make it clear that I do have quite high standards with AEGS, especially their trigger response.
I've used it for a few games now and have put around 5000 rounds through it.

Pros:
~You are buying this gun for the externals which are beautiful
~My rifle shot close to 400 at around 390ish FPS with .20s.
~The rifle did shoot pretty straight to about 130ft with .25s.

Cons:
~The stock performance was extremely average, the shimming was pretty terrible and the gun sounded screechy.
~On a 7.4 lipo battery, the trigger response was quite average and the motor got quite hot.
~Even on a 11.1 lipo battery, the trigger response still left much to be desired, with that said I use semi heavily so my standards may be quite high.
~It is quite front heavy...as to be expected with the jailbreak muzzle device.

With all that said, I have already ripped out the internals and am in the process of installing a BTC Spectre, DSGs and quite a bit of upgrade parts.

Conclusion:
Make sure you have the mindset of buying this gun for the externals.

"I received mine after waiting a year, The looks of this gun was the selling point for me. After receiving my GRY The upper & lower receivers were very nice looking with awesome SALIENT ARMS Trades and the the GRY M-lok Jailbreak Rail and Gold Nitrate duplication was awesome looking as well however I just wasn't satisfied with the overall gun and I just couldn't justify spending $450. The G&P outdated gearbox features non working bolt catch really concerned me. The fire selector felt like it was going to fall off along with he buffer tube. The inner barrel rattled against the outer barrel. Maybe I just got a lemon. After waiting a year just expected more for my money and time. The Salient ARMS should have had a KRYTAC gearbox .
Pros- Amazing Looks! Great job duplicating the original GRY.
Cons- Craftsmanship, Gearbox, Materials, Features & price.

"I bought this gun because of it amazing looks and awesome reviews and the 10 mags was nice as well I got the gun play one game with it and it just felt lacking in the fps area so I chronograph it that's where I was disappointed the advertisee fps is 400 but mine only shot a very consistent with .20 and a brand new fully charged battery 305-307fps for the money I was not impressed at all.
