"This vest is excellent if you love to look up-armored and don't want the hassle of all that weight! I'm around 6 ft. tall, 170 lbs. and this thing fits me perfectly. It gets a little warm in the summer, but that's to be expected in a vest like this. And to answer any questions of comfort, No the arm pads don't bother you nearly as much as you think they would. Half the time I forget they're even there. No they're aren't any loops for belts, but that's just part of it being an SDEU vest. When the cargo of an ALICE belt is required you can just do what I do and wear the ALICE belt/suspenders under the vest and it fits perfectly.

Pros:
-The mags pouches are easy to get to, and hold M4/M16 mags like a charm.
-The flip-down groin plate has come in handy in several CQB situations.
-Light-weight and comfortable.
-Arm pads and front Neck Armor are removable.
-Has room for a Camel-Back.
-Easy to wear an ALICE belt with.

Cons:
-Gets warm in the summer.
-No belt loops.

"I got this vest for Christmas! I'm 6'2" and 140 lbs and it fits me quite well. You can't see in the picture but inside there is a loop that goes around your stomach and keeps the vest from riding up. It feels a like short on me, but it's not that bid a deal because it still fits snug. It also comes with a flip-down crotch guard that velcros inside the vest if you don't want to use it, as well as a holder for a camelback if you own one! The neck guard and shoulder pads and a very nice touch and you can remove them if it's too hot you don't want to wear them. The shoulder pads get strapped onto your arms and they barely constrict your movements.

Pros:
High Quality
Shoulder Pads
Neck Guard
Camelback holder
Flip-Down Crotch Guard
Looks great with my Army of Two mask!

Cons:
Feels short on taller people

Webmaster: It should fit no problem. You can adjust the mid section with the velcro for a perfect fit.

"is this vest good for kids because im thinking of getting my kid one.

"Ok, gents - if there's one thing I know and know well, it's vests.

And this one is the best I've ever used.

Flexibility: Fits perfectly. Size adjustment is a snap and the velcro is high quality; won't wear down over time with constant removals or stress.

Durability: Superb. Takes the worst punishment airsoft or physical abuse can dish and still holds together even months later like new.

Capacity: This thing will carry your gear. Holds 3-6 M4/G36 mags comfortably and snug and the pouch clips are well made so no breakage. Also features inset pouches - internal on front and external on back - perfect for plate inserts if you use them. Grenade pouch also works good for flashlights or other stuff.

Special Features: The shoulder padding is AMAZING. Won't slip, straps won't cut into you and they move and meld well to keep your biceps protected. Velcro for patches is high grade and will display your image wares decently.

Cons: Only one. The neck guard is sorta a pain because it only tightens so much around your neck and kinda sags in the front part so don't expect perfect fitting in this regard. Easy to get over, though.

Overall: Worth every last cent. Best investment you can make into an airsoft vest if you're looking for all around tactical performance combined with durability and carry capacity. Definately worth getting on Evike since - they're the only place I've seen who has 'em!

5 out of 5

"I got this vest the other day for my first airsoft event. I looooovvvved it! Every hit, no matter from what airsoft gun, or how close/far they were felt like someone lightly tapping me. I used to be scared of getting hit by airsoft BB's and this vest made me not care about getting hit what-so-ever. I've tried other cheap vests and there is no way near as much protection as this one. The best part is you can detatch things like the front neck guard, the shoulder protectors and either tuck away or take off the crotch protector that comes with it (the crotch protector in no way affects your movement.)

My only warning about this vest is that it looks a little silly on tall people. I'm a 5'3" female and it goes down to my hips...perfect for me though! :) In other words the vest is short but the width can fit just about anyone.

"Totally worth the money. It looks awesome with woodland camo.

The vest is extremely comfortable and fits like a second skin even with the groin plate down and the arm protectors on!

However it does not have belt loops, but it hasn't bothered me. I just wear my tactical belt right up under it.

Definitely a must for anyone going for that up-armored badass look.

"Please note I am giving this vest 5/5 for build quality.

Ok I am 6ft 215 lbs, and if you are like me this vest may not be the best choice. The vest rides high on me so my torso is partially exposed (fat guy in a little tac vest). The vests build is VERY good everything is where it should be plenty of exposed velcro for patches. The mag pouches can accomodate almost any mag from mp5 to M14. I think ill go ahead and just give this to my buddy whos alot smaller than me.

"THis vest is AMAZING. Its comfortable, the vest fits very snug not matter what ur shape it, im 6.1 and 125 lbs its fits perfect. It fits just about any mag every made, m14, g36, g3, ak, doubled up m4 mags about 3 mp5 mags and thats just in 1 pouch. The arm and neck gaurds are a great touch and work great. the neck saved me from 400 fps at 13 ft. If you have the money go and buy it u wont regret it

Pros:
Snug fit
Accommodates every mag knows to man
Removable neck and arm guards
inside and outside straps
built in hydration
crotch plate

Cons:
arm guard hard 2 strap
arm guards get kinda tight
little warm

"It is possible that this is the best tactical vest on the market today! I highly recomend you buy this product. Can withstand 750 fps point blank without feeling a thing.
by Quint M. on 02/01/2009
"This is posibly the best vest i have ever owned. Highly recomend.

"Um Chris I have this vest in OD but have no idea what you just reviewed but it wasn't this vest. Mags fit great and slide out great, Um lack of belt loops is a perk to me and actually helps. Oh and its not hard to get on the shoulder pads at all i do it all the time unless your "not flexible". Overall its amazing light weight best and should actually cost more for the quality but that's Evikes call.

Oh and OD green is the way to go i got that color and i love it. :-)

"I'm 5' 8" and 145 pounds and this vest fits great! I love how this vest look especially the shoulder pads. I have found them to offer more protection when put on upside down to what is shown in the pictures. The pouches do in fact fit G3 and m14 mags.
by jon c. on 01/17/2009
