"Great grenade!! The packaging was great. Assembly was easy. Works amazing, especially if you fill the shells with a little baby powder for a smoke effect. The only thing is when i threw it the part that holds the co2 flew out, but it was a very simple fix. Over all great product.

"The core is very well made and the tripwire works great except that it can be a bit difficult to pull the lever back far enough to use it until you break it in. I recommend against using it a regular grenade since the pin will not pierce the cartridge unless you use the hole next to the tripwire hole. As a tripwire grenade it is great, but as a regular one it can be a bit diffcult.

"i was very pleased with the performance of this. until i used it again i went through about 4 cartages or 5 and then when i tryed again the whole metal core broke out of it and hit my garage it left a big dent in it... gotta send this back to evike now..... but overall it was useful and fun in airsoft while it lasted.

"f you are going to buy the Hakkotsu Sound grenades, these are the only ones you should fool with. They are extremely loud and they activate without any modification. The other versions, including the Version 2 or 2011 update come with the original core, which means no consistency and sometimes no bang.
This version comes with the new core which includes the following modifications.
1. A stronger spring on the hammer to ensure the CO2 canister is punctured.
2. A longer punch to ensure deeper penetration.
3. A hole in the lower cap that "meters" (speeds flow of gas into the distraction device) the gas glow
4. A better design on the sound canisters. They form a better seal and the shape forces a rupture at the same place every time for more consistency.
Pros:
Looks realistic
Consistent activation times (3 sec)
Extremely loud - even in an open area outside
Easy to load - No need to screw on additional pieces that are easily lost and fail to work anyway.
Cons:
None in comparison to the 1st generation cores.
Make sure your core has a hole in the bottom as this let's you know it is a second generation core.

"I bought one of these a while back, and i must say its very fun to use...
Its as loud as a shotgun going off next to you. Ive noticed that with certain Co2 canisters it doesnt work, but others it does.
Its sure to "stun" your enemy as it is very loud...
My team used one yesterday for CQB training and it was quite loud in a closed area... videos do this grenade zero justice... buy one for yourself and enjoy
Warning, dont pull the pin and release the spoon, it will tear your hand up.

"Very loud, very cheap, and very fun to use. I've thrown 7 so far and I am very satisfied. I can easily see myself buying another pack in the future (Maybe I'll try the pineapple variants)
Pros-
Cheap
Loud
Look awesome
Pin-pulling action!
Durable and truly reusable
Comes with a spare pin and 12 ( T-W-E-L-V-E ) shells!
Cons-
If you don't prime it correctly, the cart won't be hit hard enough and the grenade will not go off
The head is much heavier than the shell, making the grenade disbalanced and hard to throw
Having to go to wal-mart to pick up carts :( not really hakkotsu's problem though
The spoon can bend if it hits a surface when thrown

"So, I bought these and used them in the summer, and they are great!! Extremely loud, especially inside, people WILL duck. Still very loud outside, of course the harder the surface, the louder the bang (if it blow in grass and the rupture is on the bottom, sound can be muffled). Only 1 con. This is C02. I used them in a outdoor event in the winter (24 degrees with light snow on ground) and the way this is designed, the C02 fills the grenade and bursts for effect. C02 is VERY SLOW in cold, and instead of a 5 second delay from activation, it could take from 30 seconds till never, since the pressure took so long, it may not blow up the shell.
Great for regular weather!!!
SUCKS in cold.
Still recommend.

"Not a bad option for people wanting to get into airsoft grenades at an affordable price. HOWEVER, if you use grenades regularly you may have more headaches with this system than others. The low price shows itself when I cannot get one of these cores to last more than 10 detonations on average. The metal used is just too poor quality to withstand the pressures and force exerted on the system. I've had spoons break off, and threads strip from detonation. If your field allows I suggest looking into blank-firing grenades if you want a high-quality reusable airsoft grenade. Build quality and durability are superior with those, but the only downside is if your field is prone to thieves then the Thunder B might be the better option.

"These are a bit of a crap-shoot to use. When they work, they work great, but when they don't, you just stare are a shell for 30 seconds wondering why it failed to fire this time. The core seems to be almost schizophrenic about which CO2 carts it wants to use, we discovered crossman's are the most likely to fail, but uKeg CO2 cans are about 90% effective. Maybe the piston on ours is underpowered and still passed QC, maybe Crossman is overbuilding CO2 carts, but all in all it made us prefer the Bang 22 by AI in almost every single way

"Great product that can scare the crap out of you if your not paying attention. I give this 3 stars because mine broke on the third time. The plastic piece that holds the spoon on broke off so I cannot use anymore

"I was excited to finally get some of these but the first time i actually got to field this it broke. The pin holding in the spoon broke so i had to find the spoon. After fixing it i had a bunch of duds and finally today 1/5/15 i decided to fix the pin for the spoon again but the threads inside the thunder b head seemed to have cracked so now the head of the thunder b wont even stay on.
Pros: good for clearing rooms. Loud. Have a bunch of different shells you can choose from.
Cons: cheap build quality, the plastic threads break.
Maybe i just got a defect. Try it out for yourself its super fun when it actually works.

"Bought these for my son. Not overly impressed. They explode only about half the time, but they are FUN when they do! We found that if we lightly score the outside they have a better chance of exploding.
