"Best out of the box sniper I've used. FPS and range is a little limited, but a very simple spring upgrade makes it usable.
Pros:
- Very good accuracy out of the box
- Very widely used platform, so lots of attachments and upgrades available
- Very solid, unlike the Tokyo Marui, the stock is solid
- Pretty quiet bolt, and not a lot of rattling
Cons:
- Pretty poor range and fps out of the box, but not too hard to upgrade
- Stock doesn't have much grip, so wetness may affect grip
- Hop up adjustment tends to scratch barrel, leaving paint chips
- Sometimes the lever on the bolt can get loose, and not lock down right. You can tighen it up with an allen key
Overall, 4/5 *
Would definitely buy over Novritsch, way more customizable.

"The gun shell is very sturdy and and has a slight texture to it that makes it easier to grip even when your hands are sweaty. The internals are well made especially the hop up, which makes it easy to shoot heavier bbs such as .32g, the bolt is relatively smooth to prime although if you’re young might have a hard time to pull it back. The only issue I have is the magazine that is included, it sometimes feeds 2 bbs or struggles to feed when you have around 3 bbs left.

"Decent out of the box. Hopup has a curve.

"Overall this is a decent rifle to shoot the bolt felt smooth (going to upgrade it either way) the only problem is the scope rail doesn’t fit my scope.

"Solid build. Magazine is cheap feeling. Was supposed to come not assembled but it came assembled. Fired a few .20 outta it seems to shoot at a decent fps. Put .36 in the magazine and it would feed them into the chamber. I guess the magazine spring is too weak to push the heavy ones up

"This is a super fun gun. The spring is in the sweetspot where it's super easy to cock the weapon, but still has the fps to get a good distance. I got a kill with this thing in the first 10 minutes of my first game with it, and it's super fun to use. The only con I have is that the hop up makes it so the bbs veer right on distance shots, which makes it sorta difficult to get accurate hits, but I heard there's a way to fix this. Also, use at least 25g bbs, the 20s are way to light for range shots.

"This sniper is great for starting off as a newbie. Its very realistic and acurate. However the magizine for the gun has some issues that it wont click in once insetred to the gun. After that problem everything works and functions great ! Would recommend for starting off to see if interested for sniping on the field since of the price.

"Good gun, I would definitly recommend a new tuning kit though, because internals are kind of sucky.

"This is a great rifle, not too heavy or light, and isn't too loud. The only major complaint I have is it's a little bit unwieldy to be carrying around, but it has the range to allow you to stay near the back of the pack and shoot from a distance. 8/10

"Pros
Looks good
Shoots hard(aroylund 450-550 fps with 25.g)
Accurate
Comes with a speed loader
All in all built well.
Quiet
Cons
Wood is plastic(but durable)
Does not have anything to put a strap on it
Other than that it is a great gun

"I loved this rifle, worked for about a year and a half. then the rechambering mechanism came loose. It may have lost a part, but it stopped working which is unfortunate.

"Not much to say, the VSR10 is a great platform, especially for the building community. Don't buy if your max BB weight is below .4g bbs. Anything more and the gun will overhop your bbs.

"Performs well and is a great upgrade base. However, it doesn't fit the action army hopup chamber which a serious problem for me. The outer barrel is to small by like 1mm. If you have the equipment, you can machine out the inside to make it fit.

"Mine came with an out of the box left curve that resulted in me having to install an aftermarket hop-up chamber to fix because I didn't feel like putting the time in to shimming it when I could get better performance from an aftermarket chamber, however otherwise it has been alright.

"Out of the box it shoots alright. It's not a quality gun. I bought it with the strict idea that 90% of it would end up being upgraded, well, it is. The cylinder bent, causing slamfires. The sear stripped, causing slam fires. If you keep it stock, you'll get a few good months out of it plinking, but it's not built to last. I have Maple Leaf, PDI and angel parts in mine to the point that I can't even call it a CYMA. It's a spectacular sniper marker, now. But, it takes some work.
