"this gun feels very nice, when you hold it, it just conforms to your hand. But there are alot of downsides. For example, once you fire the first full magazine it doesnt have enough gas left in the magazine to function properly, It will begin to jam, not load the next bb into the chamber, and wont lock to the rear, even though when you remove the magazine there is plenty of gas left in the magazine. The magazines themselves are high quality, and when loaded into the gun make up half the weight of the gun. this is not a bad thing, the center of balance is very nice.
Most of the problems stated before are due to there not being enough gas left in the magazine, and not the fault of the gun itself.
Other wise, the pistol is great, i like the pistol, but i wouldn't buy it again if i had the chance. but the problems are likely due to the fact its fall, and im in the north east, so the problems with gas are likely due to climate.

"APS ACP601 version 2 purchased in June 2014 at Evike walk-in superstore. One of the magazines had trouble moving BBs up to the tip of the mag. Within the 45 day warranty, easily exchanged it for a working magazine I was able to test at the superstore.
The pistol and mags have worked sufficiently as a secondary weapon for a new CQB airsofter. The loud sound it makes and the blowback when fired makes it fun to shoot. FPS performance has been below OEM claims, however, I have yet to adjust the hopper as BBs are flying straight and grouping within a slice of bread at 20'.
I got the following results today (77 deg, 85% humidity) after 500 shots since purchase and recent lubrication of the magazine ports with silicone.
Mag#1: Shots per CO2 = 52, Hi = 298 fps, Lo = 224 fps, Ave = 281 fps, Mode = 281 fps (6 times out of 52 shots).
Mag#2: Shots per CO2 = 55, Hi = 294 fps, Lo = 201 fps, Ave = 269 fps, Mode = 275 fps (8 times out of 55 shots).

"I own this gun and Crossman co2 cartidges DO NOT FIT! They are too wide to fit in the hole...... haha, that's what she said. But seriously, Crossman don't fit.
The gun itself is great. Perfectly designed to fit your hand. The on-trigger safety is also nice, very convenient. I have been told that the "gen 2" magazines that are newer have been widened in order to fit the Crossman cartridges but I don't know that for certain. The muzzle end of the slide is painted orange on the one I got but has a regular black outer barrel, unlike the picture. Not sure if I am going to paint the orange off.
Pros:
Metal slide
Great grip
Simple safety
Nice kick
Cons:
Doesn't fit Crossman co2
long trigger pull
Painted orange on slide

"This gun is truly awesome. It comes exactly how the picture is and not with that crummy long orange barrel. It weighs about 2 or 3 pounds and i would recomend using .23 or .25s in this gun. With .2's it go's straight up into the atmosphere with the hopup all the way down.
Pros:
Realistic feel.
Awesome accuracy
Slide is metal and other parts and a really strong polymer
Easy to access internals.
No orange tip (can be good or bad)
Perfect amount of recoil
The gun all together is solid.
The gun can shoot about 75 bbs per co2 can.
The price of the gun is worth it.
Cons:
Unscrewing the cap to put the co2 in is extremely hard, you'll need plyers. It may become easier later on.
U have to hold down the spring in the mag to put bbs in.
Doesn't come with instructions.
Overall i'd give this gun a 4/5 because of the problems with unscrewing the co2 cap. Not a biggy you'll get use to it after like 5 times.

"Great looking and feeling gun, but I feel there are better products for the money. The gun functioned properly for the first 2 CO2 cartridges but then the magazine started leaking. Has not worked correctly since. I waited too late and my 45 day warranty is up, so that’s on me. However, the magazine is junk! I just purchased another one as a replacement ($32 with shipping!) and I will contact evike immediately when I have an issue. To be such a fun pistol, the mag issue has really taken the excitement out of using it, especially since it has not even been to the field yet. I have not put 200 rounds through it. The last time I attempted to seat a CO2 cartridge, the end cap stuck while I was unscrewing it. I have not been able to budge it with a vice and pliers. Hopefully I will have better luck with a new mag. I will review it later.
I am giving it 2 stars because the pistol is awesome, the mag is the problem. I am reviewing them as one unit because you can’t have one without the other. Quality is lacking in the mag design.
Pros:
Fit and feel to the hand
Accurate
Slide action
Cons:
Magazine leaks (right out of the box)
