"Ok, so, I got this AEG for Christmas, and let me tell you, waking up one morning after Christmas and finding it the UPS box was pretty nice, but anyways, mine didnt come with a sling, the orange plastic covering the flash hider was cracked, and the magazine that it came with was in rough condition, and, ive watched reviews of this very gun, and they said that you can remove the flash hider very easily for mock suppresor instalation, I can not for the life of me get it off, i also ordered a Matrix brand high-cap with it, i have to hold my AK upside down for that mag to feed.

Pros-
Heavy
Real wood
hard hitting
good ROF
accurate

Cons-
heavy
cant get the flash hider off (thats just me apparently)
spare mag sucks
feed skips on Full Auto
didnt come with a sling

"This is the latest Dboys/Kalash AKS-74UN model by another name, solidly constructed and hard hitting, comes with a convincing correct style khaki sling and decent stick battery. A pretty good copy of the much more expensive VFC that started it all for the AKS-74U family. Get a new charger though.
The cone of the flashhider is bright orange plastic, the rest of the gun (minus the pistol grip) is either pressed mild steel or cast light metal with a nasty matt black phosphate finish that cleans up pretty well with some scotchbrite and elbow grease (rough up the high spots). Wood is decent quality and finish, good for the money. Accuracy isn't bad. Good replica, especially for the price.

"I ordered this gun and chose it over my main aegs. Let me do a quick and non biased review.

First impression is that this is solid. Heavy for its size but its not heavy compared to other full metal aegs Its about 8 pounds, I can hold it out with 1 hand and fire (fully loaded mag and battery. The guns metal is not the highest quality Its some sort of alloy and is not smooth. The hand guards are nice looking and look and feel like wood but its not wood. The stock is solid or was solid. My nephew kept opening it and closing it for 10 MINUETS STRAIGHT. It has a slight, slight very slight wiggle, nothing very noticeable and major. The sights are are great. The mag is unique and cool looking imo but does have some miss feeds. The sling and battery are very nice. The sling is an olive green and thick and seems durable. The battery pushes this guns RPM to about 800? And this gun is loud and sounds intimidating from a distance because its loud and fast and sounds a little real. The gun is accurate to about 150 feet and hits a pizza box 5/10 shots from that distance. I like how it sprays at distances and I mean that in a good way, cause its useful to be able to suppress 3 people with 1 gun. It becomes real small when the stock is folded in and that is useful for being in tight spots and even when its not folded out its smaller than an ak. I ordered this and got the holycow deal and it gave me ak47 mags not ak74 mags so hopefully they will exchange them. I love this gun so much and am very happy I have it. Its reliable and awesome and lets face it, everyone has an m4 and ak but no one has the ak74 so its nice to stand out with a kick butt gun lol. Be very careful opening the battery compartment, a spring likes to fly out, open it slowly and the top hand guard has a slight wiggle.

pros:
RELIABLE!!!
nice rof with a 8.4v
accurate at close-mid range
can spray bbs
small
light (heavy for its size)
good sling it came with
compact
rugged looking
loud and sweet sounding
Has a side claw so you can put a scope mount on
lots and lots of other things

cons:
mag is not the best
battery compartment's button spring likes to spring out sometims
metal is wierd
top hand guard is wiggles

conclusion, this guns pros out weigh the cons and I would advise this to anyone who wants a gun to showoff and for anyone who can talk the talk and walk the walk. Best gun under $180

"Great gun for the price
I am running a Foxfire 11.1v lipo stick and a madbull 120 spring upgrade and the gun is performing very well
gearbox runs nice and smooth not loud. I dont dry fire my guns except to cycle the spring to release any compression after use.
the real wood furniture is a real eye catcher, everyone comments on how good the wood looks.
Hits hard takes well to upgrading and a solid performer all around.

"I bought this mainly because of the fact that it has a functioning charging lever. I believe I charged it once and then it no longer sprang forward. Upon investigation a small metal piece had broken that was keeping tension on the spring. Overall amazing build otherwise but this is pretty disappointing that the piece of metal is this weak.

"Good Externals, what is going on with the internals?
This is my first AEG, and everyone said it was a good starter gun. I will start off saying that the externals are fabulous for the price! The AEG feels weighty and durable.
However I took this out to my field today, and used it for the first time. Issues ensued. Gun wasn't feeding (using CYMA AK-74 Mid-Cap magazines), the hopup kept readjusting itself, and it chrono'd in around 260 FPS when everyone else says they shoot around 400 FPS with .20s.
I may have gotten a dud since everyone else says it works well for them but I was personally having a bunch of issues. I am gonna take it to a tech to see what is going on, I will update my review in that case with the issue and what was required to resolve it.

"I got it a few days ago. The weapon, I must say, was in a very good condition! Real wood, metal, quite heavy, great sights, everything was great. Just 1 or 2 scrratches on the wood besides that everything was fine. Now, about shooting it, I put in about 40 bb's (even though it can hold a lot more) and it wouldn't shoot every bb. Nothing inside was broke it's just the gun wouldn't shoot every shot. It would shoot bursts of blanks then maybe a few bb's. Not recommended for behind enemy line's air soft wars for solo or anything, because if you take a shot, and a burst of blanks come out and your trying to fix it (which it is fixible, just rotate the thing on the bottom of the mag, you will see), your dead. It IS fixible though so it is still a very great weapon.

"Solid gun, but it kept on jamming up after 3 bullets and would go no more than 30 feet

"Bought it and took it out to a game the same week, but the gun would not properly feed from any mag I tried including the included mag. It would shoot properly for around 20-30 shots and then BBs would start to fall out of the barrel instead of actually flying out. Had no problems with the CYMA RPK, but this thing was useless out of the box. Flash hider is also ridiculously tight and glued on.

"I got this gun maybe a month ago and was excited to see it finally came in the mail. First of all the gun looked pretty decent. Had a good feel. But I noticed some portion on the side of the wood had not been sanded down or something cause it was very splintery. The gun came with 2 mags in the box which are both alright, they had a feeding issue and sometimes wouldn't feed into the mag.

So then i charged up the battery and got to trying it out, the gun when it does work, is a good gun and was fairly accurate. But I started to experience some problems, it would jam quite a few times, and I hadn't messed with the gun but the ak's selector switch started to get loose and eventually snapped right off. I lost it in a local field and couldn't find it. The gun was now stuck on semi and was also jammed. I got very frustrated with this so went to someone for help, they told me to just set it to full auto and when they used pliers to switch it to full auto it started to fire again.

This didn't help. 2 shots later it decided to stop firing all together. I repeated the same process of trying to set it back to full auto and semi and only got the same results. The battery was fully charged as well. I tried fiddling around with the gun but still wouldn't work. After 1 use the gun was already falling apart. (The fake bolt thing to chamber a round on the real gun broke off as well). It wasnt even fireable and remains a expensive hunk of junk on my floor. Don't buy this gun get something more reliable.
