WE-Tech Hyper Series Hi-CAPA Gas Blowback Pistol (Model: Strike / Standard Grip / Semi Auto)

"This is an amazing gas pistol, super accurate and solid blowback feature. It's weight is not too far off from a real 1911 45ACP. Still fairly accurate at around 90 feet. This handgun is built really solid with very tight tolerances, no noticeable slide wobble and really clean casting of all the parts.

The only gripe i have with this handgun is not with the handgun itself but with one of the two extra mags i purchased from evike. One of the mags had a leak from the fill valve and would not hold gas to save its life. Upon further investigation, and a little bit of tightening, problem solved.

Always a good idea to spray the inside of the barrel with a few squirts of silicon spray lube as well as the slide and any visible moving parts. Excess spray will tend to evaporate after 10-20 seconds but I always wipe off any excess with a tosser towel.

An excellent sidearm/secondary weapon for skirmishes and CQB and Highly recommended...

"this is my furst gas blow back and i would have to say its all most like a real 45 the only con i have is the safty lever of the right side broke but with a little gluw in the right spot fixed that so go for it its shoots hard and far for a hand gun

"Love this gun. I got it in July and have used it in a few skirmishes and it has held up well except for the fact that my "ambidextrous safety" came off on the left-handed side. Meaning the one on the right side of the gun for left handed players. Besides that it has done very good, just keep it lubed up w/ silicon oil. Nice and somewhat accurate, I shot mine at a hundred foot target with a little hop-up adjustment. Hit within a 1-2 foot radius of the bullseye meaning a 2-4 foot spread. Tough to get into some holsters due to square trigger guard. Mine shoots 314fps at slow rate of fire, high rate goes to about 295fps. All tests were done with propane which I get about 40 shots with a 7 second charge, though I generally go for a 5 second one and get roughly 30-35 shots. A must buy for 95 bucks, I've used that WE 1911 Gov issue, single stack. It's weak and inaccurate... not worth it. This gun, however, is definitely WORTH IT.

"I just got in my hi capa today and i was so excited to try it out. i loaded up the mag and put in some green gas, but i heard a leaking from the magazine which dropped my spirits quick. with further examination it was just that the filler nozzle on the magazine needed to be tightened down. Now ready to shoot after fixing the mag issue i went back to my field and fired my first shot aiming at on of the forts from about 80 feet away towards a vertical crack 3 in wide and with no hopup set yet it went right through the crack. After adjusting the hopup i had each bb staying almost completely uniform up to like 150 feet were i couldnt see them anymore.(it was kind of dark) the only dowside is after filling the mag for like 5-6 secconds it just makes it through 1 full clip + like 1-5 shots only once did it finish with 1 bb left. overall very accurate sidearm highly recomended.

"Good pistol, nice look and good performance. Easy to handle and goes well in mostly any case as well as any holster. Very universal, that is, equipment-wise. There is also a full silver colored one for the same price, bought this one thinking that was it, but that's no a big deal since it's a great gun inside.

"I have had this gun for a while now and all I have to say is "wow." The gun is built very solid, very hard to do much damage to. It is also rather accurate, I am getting 3" groups at 25'. The hopup and sights on this gun are fully adjustable on this gun, but I found mine to be almost perfectly alligned out of the box. If you're looking for a more unique approach to a Hi-Cappa 5.1, this is the gun to get. The ported slide looks slick, it doesn't have a large ammount of slots, unlike the newer version, but I think this one looks better.

"WE series guns can take propane because it is full metal. I don't have this model but I have the dragon which is pretty much the same.

You can buy propane tanks for around $5 a can at Wal-Mart. If you are not sure, check out the yellow propane adapter, it has a image of the tank you can buy at Wal-mart in the descritpion. Or you can use green gas for this gun.

"This gun rules! I have had 1 other WE gun before and this gun is more powerful than the dragon, but has a bit less blowback. But, this still rules and kicks sooo much ass. The accuracy is great, the gun can accurately hit a torso sized target at over 150 feet, as long as you have a steady hand. With CO2, at close range, this gun shoots through both sides of a can, and will usually put a hole in the bottom of a can with 1 shot. All in all, this gun rules, and for only $95, it's a very very good buy.

This is a great GBB pistol! It may not shoot very hard, but at distances below 100 feet watch out. I can reach out to a torso sized taget 9 out of 10 times. If you are looking for a gas pistol, buy this one and watch your targets fall.

"A bit if a gas hog, but well worth it. I just bought a propane adapter so i can use the cheaper camping tanks. The power is amazing, accuracy is fantastic, and the realism is un-beatable. This is one of two WE gas pistols I own and its definitely my favorite.

This gun is very well made. The frame and slide are all metal and is very durable. The grips are a bit "sharp" out of the box and feels similar to gripping coarse sand paper when using this gun without gloves while new.

This gun shoots at 320fps with green gas mags and 340 with CO2 mags. It holds 30 rounds, but to keep spring life, I reccomend only using 25 rounds. You can load in BB's two ways in this gun, you can use the long way and load them in one by one throught the top, or you can load them in with a loader bottle or speed loader near the lower part of the mag where the spring guide slot tapers out.

This gun is built like a tank and is rather difficult to completely dissasemble. I would reccomend this gun as a sidearm to anyone. It is accurate, reliable and fun to shoot.

"I bought this a while back actually, and the pistol runs great. I've gotta lube it up every so often but that's about it. The gun runs as you'd expect.

My only issue (and who knows who's fault this is) is that I ordered the grey color with the accents and I received a straight black coloration. It was the correct model, just not the correct color.
