WE-Tech Custom Samurai Edge Biohazard M9 Airsoft Gas Blowback (Color: Two-Tone / Gun Only)

"I just bought this pistol with a co2 mag only a few days ago because I'm a fan of the series and I'm pleased with it. It shot without fault with the Co2 magazine and well within cqb limits. It feels not too hefty and the recoil is crisp. Fixed the fadding gold paint embulm issue with some clear varnish.

"The Good:
For starters; This thing is absolutely beautiful. It's very well crafted. It came in a nice RPD-like box with the Gun and Magazine. It was nice and lubed as I could see some of it glistening upon removing it from the encasement.

It has a perfect and very accurate weight to it. It's sized just as an M9 would be(possibly a smidgen bigger). It functions almost completely identical to an M9 handgun. It houses enough green gas, and a little extra, for pushing out all of the shots in 1 magazine. Make sure you hold the canister upside-down when filling that magazine! The blowback is perfect; Not too much kick, not too little. It gives you that realistic feel without destroying accuracy or punchisizing your face. The gun is fairly loud, but in a good way and as close to what a real gun would sound like minus the breaking of the sound barrier part. It's my favorite one to shoot for sure and I hope I get the opportunities to use it.

The Bad:
The only issue I have with it so far, is that the BBs I am using tend to veer Upwards by a good bit after only a short distance(25ft). I had to aim roughly 1.5 feet Below the target to actually hit it. I do not know if this is because I am using .20mg or if something from the inner barrel is the cause. I know I use the same BBs in my JG G36(electric rifle at 450fps with a 9.6v/1600mah) and they also veer upwards but only a little, and after a good 100ft or so. Of course my JG G36 has hop adjustment that helps alter that. If I ever figure this out I'll try to edit this review and/or make a new one with solid information.

The Ugly:
Nothing.

"I have owned this pistol for a good bit of time and decided to pass on my experience to others in the market for an M9. Here is the quick and dirty for this puppy:

Pros:
- Good weight and feel
- Good kick that leaves you more satisfied than your ex
- Killer custom engraving
- Durable (to an extent)
- Can't be it at the price of $89

Cons:
- STARS emblem on pistol grip will rub off
- Could have used better material for the fake wood
- WE Tech mags are...meh...

If you are on the fence about this gun it is well worth the money. At its original price of $120 I would pass on it and look at a M9 PTP.

Quick note: This gun will not fit a SERPA GEN 2 Holster without modification (found this out the hard way).

"Have had this gun since I started playing airsoft. Great little gun, just a few complaints

Pros:
-pretty accurate
-heavy, realistic feel
-resident evil engravings are nice
-very easy to take apart

Cons:
-gold color does wear easily
-lube frequently
-rear sight WILL COME OFF, make sure to put a little glue on it or something to secure it down
-don't lose the hopup, you can't find another one.

"It's a great gun. It's everything that they said and more, the only complaint that i have with the gun is that when i opened the box i noticed some damage to the s.t.a.r.s. logo.

"This gun is awesome! I got it brand new and it feels great and looks sexy.

Pros:
-Shoots pretty good
-Looks sexy
-Looks like as if it was really from Resident Evil
-Nice kick

Cons:
-Pretty big. If you have small hands, this may be a problem
-Mine shoots 370-380 FPS, although i can adjust it and make it shoot under 350 FPS making it CQB legal (Which is pretty complicated to do) (It is a WE Tech, their guns will never be great)

"This is one of the hottest shooting pistols that I have owned. Evike claims that it shoots between 300 and 330, but when I chrono'd the gun, it was reading 360 with .20s. This could be because I like an a warm area, but it's still very good.

This gun is not very good as far as the "quality" of the gun goes. On arrival, the front and rear sights were very loose and I had list the rear sight on the first day of use. The hop-up is terrible and I just took it out completely and it shoots fine.

Pros:

- Good FPS
- Decent Kick
- Gas Efficient (Sorta)
- Seems to have a built in tight bore barrel

Cons:

- Not very good quality (I recommend gluing your sights on before use)
- Mags get leaky if you do not take care and oil your gun.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable sidearm.

"What can I say about this gun.....

Well, if you are looking for realism and all around an ultimate RE collectors item, then this is definitely it!!
Now onto the gun, its very solid and well built, great kickback by the way especially with the ported slide, makes for great accuracy... In my opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this gun as far as performance.

But aesthetic wise... Ehh, poor design.

A week after I got it, I went to play a cqb match (very first game with it) the game was very nice and smooth
I checked my pistol and I noticed that both my front and rear sights were sliding to the left almost as if they were going to coming off and now every time I go to shoot about three times, it'll do that.... Not only that after just one use, the logo on the grip started to fade from the gold to a silver color.. which doesn't really bother me cause it still looks okay that way.

To wrap this up, this is a definite must for any hard core RE fan, but for use as a secondary/primary?? Absolutely not...

"Well the gun itself is really nice, it looks real and is detailed to the M9 in RE perfectly (besides the ugly thread). I did notice that the slide does not blow back smoothly due do the design of the gun, and the trigger would sometime get stuck during usage. The hop up is a real pain in to get to and you have to keep the mag warm in order to use it properly (but if you own a green gas gun then you should deal with it). Over all a really nice gun. I like it.

"I was fairly excited to receive this in the mail, since I wanted this to be my first gas pistol. Maybe it's my hype with it, but it kinda didn't live up to what I was expecting. Looking at the description, I was excited and expecting to see a different internals from the older WE M92s, especially the REAPS style bucking. After taking it apart, it really was just the standard WE M92 style bucking (adjustable via a screw once the inner barrel was taken out). So pretty sure the inner barrel is just the NG3 system. I'll be ordering the ATV2 variant and see if it's the Gen 2 that people in reddit suggest getting instead.

"i gave this gun 3 stars because it looks amazing and the gun works great. When it does work that is. The mag that i got with the gun does not hold air well at all. i get maybe 5 shots with it and it runs out. I even held the green gas to it for a good 10 seconds. i bought an extra mag for this gun as well and gain this one does not work. The extra mag came to me broken. I hope this is just a problem that I'm having because this gun really looks nice and shoots nice but the gun doesn't shoot with having air in the mag and when the mag doesn't hold air well, that's a problem

"Do not use as a game piece; There is no way this will stand up to heavy use.
It is a fine shooter and all, nothing wrong with the performance. But it is a touch too fragile.
Rear iron sight isn't attached by the "hex screw" on it, the screw is fake. The sights are just glued on, and judging by how long they stay on the gun, I assume they used Elmer's glue.
Paint wears fast, very fast. The STARS emblem is no longer recognisable.

If you want a pretty shelf piece or nice cosplay item, then go ahead and get this.
Just don't try to compete with it.

"Works pretty well, magazine and gun operation weren't an issue. Downside - hop-up seems to be misaligned, shoots right pretty hard. also wore out the paint on the handle as other users said.
