"Quick review of my newly acquired airsoft sniper, the MB03.

First, let me say that while the stock is plastic, the gun feels solid. The barrel and stock do not rattle (other than the sling points). It feels actually fairly lightweight, which I like. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the gun. Now, a few "other" points.

This gun does not shoot the claimed 400-450 FPS. The best I achieved was about 384 FPS, the lowest about 340. However, over the course of a 15 shot group, it averaged 375-380 FPS. I am obviously already planning on upgrading the spring.

The second point is that the barrel end is threaded. But I'll be dipped if I could tell you what the threads are. I bought what I thought was the correct adapter and it is probably 1mm too small. And good luck finding an adapter for the MB03, in stock, and in the US. This part severely disappointed me as I thought this was supposed to truly be TM compatible . Well, be forewarned, it's not.

Overall it shoots well (straight), the hop up is on the side of the barrel and does what it's supposed to do. I bought the model with the bipod (put my own scope on it). The bipod is "ok". It works but it's a little quirky. You twist a portion of the leg to extend it outward and it's spring loaded, so it's kinda loud when it pops out. You really have to work at it to keep it quiet (defeats the point of being a stealthy sniper, eh?).

Oh, also, on the TM compatible subject, I bought 2 extra TM mags that said they were MB03 compatible. Well, they "fit", but they are snug and hard to get in (and back out).

I would recommend this gun, but beware of the caveats that come with it.

"shoots straight but the bolt head kept coming loose

"great sniper with fair accuracy. I did not have any magazine trouble, but they hold about 30 bbs so you definitely need to buy extras. Note: the angel customs upgrade does not fit and broke my trigger box within 3 shots. I suggest the airsoft pro piston upgrade. It is cheaper and won't break your gun. I've had it for quite a while with no problems.

"This was the second airsoft gun I bought( first was AEG) so I dont have too much experience. That being said, this gun is amazing for what you spend. I beat out people with heavily upgraded AEGs, without upgrading this gun at all. Some BBs will fly to the side, by rarely will they go too high/low. It has a little issue with feeding every so often, but only with a newly inserted mag. If you upgrade the barrel and hop up, you will destroy.
Pros:
Price, accuracy, light, upgradable, color is right
Cons: minor feeding issues, not totally consistent

"This is an overall great sniper rifle for beginners and intermediate, however this rifle does NOT come with 2 mags. On the mags... NO GOOD MAGAZINE!! Buy a separate mag when purchasing this rifle. The mag it comes with does not feed half the time and when it does feed it jams practically all the time.
Also the stock scratches easily, but it does not bother me.
I rated this gun on the rifle NOT the mag otherwise it would be 0 stars.
Overall outstanding performance! :)

"Got this rifle today and I have to say I love it.
Shoots great with the BB's it came with but im buying some .38g so ill have to test the heavier ones as well, super accurate after hop up is adjusted and you sight it in.
The mag i got was sort of messed up I guess? the spring wouldnt feed so i had to loosen the screws on the magazine but other than that it works nice.
The sling and speedloader also are nice easy to load and swing over my shoulder to take out my pistol in cqb.
Great Gun!

"This gun is well worth the money, very good fps and power

PROS
- good fps
- hurts like hell
-comes with 2 mags and speedloader

CONS
- after about 2 hours of using it, the accuracy drops and the bbs dont go very far
- the bolt may be a little hard to pull back
- the clips that screw into the gun to hold the sling dont stay in
- the screws stripped after opening the gun once ( that may be my own fault idk)

overall a good, affordable gun for beginners

"I just got it today and it works good.

Pros:
Metal in the important places
Length and feel are great
Operated great
Simple, easy design for beginners

Cons:
My trigger guard was broken when it came in the box, so shame on whoever did that.
The paint on the sling mounts chipped easily (who cares about sling mounts as long as they work)
Accuracy is ok, but that comes with its price
One of the two magazines was broken, so buy at least one more
Didn't come with instructions on how to put it together

P.S.:
It said it came with a 3-9x40 scope installed, but it just came in its own box...
If you are going to upgrade anything on this gun, make sure you upgrade the right parts at the same time (bad combinations lead to broken parts). Don't juse upgrade one part.

Overall, for a beginner's gun or low-budget purchase, this is a good, reliable buy that does the job.
4/5

"Love the gun, great for the price. I have had some of the most fun ever airsofting with such a simple gun as this. It does shoot hard, not bad for outdoors. Minor assembly required, which is logical because of the size. No instructions however, so it was questionable as to which screws go where. I have had this gun for about a year now, and it still works ok. The only problem i have with this gun is that the magazines and feeding process are horrible. The description says each mag holds about 30bb's (which it does in reality) however the gun has jamming problems if you load more than about 15 bb's into each mag. So in reality, each mag only holds 15bb's. kind of dissapointing, but they are only like $10 for another, so as long as you are either good with a quick reloader or carry a few extra mags, you are fine with this gun. Overall, i love it despite its minor problems. Completely durable (within reason) and tons of fun!

PS- I would recommend this gun for friendly "just for fun" matches, but not serious competitions or events.

"a pretty good sniper, its very quite, the mags jam a lot when u get(my did),just break them in ,and its never a problem again, the bolt is hard to pull at first, after while it gets easier.recommand to new players and intermediate players who like snipering. this wouldnt be the best gun for players who have a lot of experiance in airsoft and expert airsoft snipers. Overall, this gun is good, not the best, but good

"actually u have to order the RIS bipod because part of the payment goens into the installation of the RIS rail for the bipod tht will come with it if you pay for the upgraded bipod set. So u actually have to buy tht bipod and RIS rail set if u want to put a bipod on it. Unless ur looking forward to accidentslly buying a separate bipod and rail tht may not fit on the gun or be able to fit each other.

"Most of what im about to say is opinion but its watev. I just got back from an event where we played deep in the woods and i was carrying a type 96 shadow op sniper, which is a pretty nice gun and i really couldnt do anything without just sitting there for 30 mins waiting for someone to fall into my trap. But in the woods, people don't just run through the brush like a gazelle hoping that they will see someone before someone sees them.... thats not how it goes, if your holding an automatic you can work your way up and still have some range of a sniper of this price. But when ur a sniper, u stay in the way back and just get prone, or climb a tree, or just sit there until someone who has balls infiltrates your side and you can get them. im a sniper for my team of 4 and i love it, hell sniper is the best thing ever, but i have recently learned that if you are going to play in woodland with leaves and bushes and trees, its a no go. In urban environments like houses and in a smaller premesis snipers, for airsoft, usually perform better, and AEG's perform better in woodlands because if you spray a burst of like 10 BB's you can do that in like 2 or 3 seconds and only a few will get through, but with a sniper you have to shoot cock aim fire shoot cock aim fire, instead of just squeezing a trigger and untimately getting the job done faster and easier. Those are my 2 cents, get the gun if you wish but my opinion is to get a AEG if your going to be playing in the woods.

"Plz put it back in stock I’ve been wanting one for like a year now
by Kevin V. on 05/23/2018
"Hi future vsr-10 owners,

Pros:

- Cheap
- upgradeable

Cons:

- Inner barrel is not straight... Sags down after cap is removed (Almost touches bottom of the outer barrel)
- Hop up screw stripped after first time taking it out
- seems like I got the bad batch

"I've had the gun for just over a year now and it finally quit on me. This was my first real airsoft gun and i was very happy with it a great gun for starters. My gun first started acting up about two months ago, the bolt wasn't going in all the way in so i tried to take it apart. When I was unskrewing the barrel it got stuck, and couldn't get it back. I finally took it in the gun shop and the guy had to use a machine to put it back the way it was. Like i said earlier this gun is probably the best for starting airsofters for the price. its also good to buy this gun so you know if you even like the sport. This is why I give this gun a 3 out of 5 stars.
