"Got the silver one and I must say it is a solid gun and looks beautiful. It has a good trigger response running on a 9.6 on semi automatic. This EBR feels much better than the JG / 6mm Pro Shop EBR. The gun is fairly accurate running .28 gram bbs. While I don't care for the location of the hop up, I love how it clicks while adjusting it. The quality of this EBR is very good for the price you pay! Just so everyone is aware, I found that the included PEQ box fits a standard 9.6v mini brick battery. I would recommend that you pick up some sort of a fore grip and some mid cap magazines for it. Winding the high cap can be difficult and uncomfortable because of the unbalanced weight. It really does run well, only upgrade you may want is a tightbore barrel.

"I have not bought this gun, but I wanted people to know that the original dmr sold on evike is ID: 78419 (AEG-CYMA-CM032G-SV), almost the same thing, but this version removes the beautiful stock.

"I really enjoy this gun, it has served me well in many events. The only thing that I would complain about is the stock was wobbly, so I had to dismantle the gun to tighten it, but now it is very solid and extremely accurate.

"This is a very good gun, bought it few months ago, been in 3 games, shoots around 356fps out of box with 9.6v battery(it will be better if it can shoot 380fps). This gun is very accurate on semi, not so accurate on full-auto. There is only one screw holding the rear and the front, the screw came loose after every game, so I have to disassemble it to tight the screw. The mag and stock wiggles on the gun, stock is not my big problem, the mag is really annoying, feels like the mag is going to fell out the gun. The bottom rail came loose after the 2nd game. Sometime the trigger gets stuck on semi, so I have to change it to full auto and change it back.

Pro:
Solid build
Accurate
350fps
full metal
cheap
400rd hi cap

Con:
Very heavy( My arm was hurting for 2 days after the game, but a bipod and sling can help)
Wiggle mag
Some screws will loosing up.

"Upon purchasing my CYMA M14EBR I have been impressed. Solid metal railing and cage, outter barrel, upper...I bagan a search for plastic and was pleased at how little plastic is there (stock& handle). With only a few more screws, because of the cage, than the CYMA Field M14; this rifle has EEEEZZZZ internals to tech. I too "upgraded" ad found a huge improvement in range and accuracy(6.03innbar. , M90spring, 11.1v lipo). Sorry to the guy who got the lemmon, because this gun is feared and revered. GO CYMA, can't wait for the model without these negitaves:
1.Pistol grip comes loose often, kinda hard to tighten in field
2. Adjustable crane stock is cool, finding an 11.1 lipo with sufficiant mAh that fits, not cool.
3.A potmetal connection that holds under the barrel a crome rod to the bolt feature has broken on this and one of my field M14s. Fixing them was fun. They both broke at a point that was right where the rods come together and sheered all thread off inside.

THANKS TO EVIKE.COM!

"Have had this gun for almost a year and have had no issues with it. However, i modified it as soon as I received it, so i never really used to stock. MOSFET, 11.1v lipo, custom air seal job, and 6.01 barrel were all added by me. And it makes a huge improvement to an already amazing gun. The gun is rather heavy and a 2 or 3 point sling is almost need to haul it around comfortably (it is made to have slings to take advantage of the sling points).

Pro:
accurite
solid build except for the grip, i needed to use locktite on the screws
lots of rail space
version 7 gearbox has minor tweaks from older models.
very quiet

Cons:
heavy
like all cyma m14's, it needed a softer bucking.

being rear wired has its own pros and cons...

this guns HAS A LONG TYPE MOTOR. not a short type like usual ver. 7.

Cons:
Weight

"This is a gun that I have mixed feelings for. When I first received it in the middle of last summer, the accuracy, fps and overall performance of the gun was fantastic, but there was one problem. The gear box started to act up and the gun made a low thumping sound. The fps dropped to about 50 fps and I was sure it was a fluke, so I sent it back and I am waiting for them to send it to me, hopefully fixed, but anyway just to be aware that can happen, but it is a great machine gun or full auto sniper.
Here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
Fps
semi auto firing cycles nicely
weight is realistic, but not cumbersome
rails everywhere!
rails readily available by the rear sight for a sniper scope, but it is a little loose
sights are very nice and easily adjustable
mock charging handle makes you feel pretty cool

cons:
my minor mishap
orange tip is a little too much
need a crane stock type battery for this gun and it does not come with a battery of its own make sure you buy one!

All in all this gun is very nice and I am excited to get it back it is a good buy and if you like to have long-range capabilities, while maintaining a constant rate of fire, this gun is for you.

"Great Rifle, my Primary, my Baby.

It does have a wobbly stock, and butterfly battery, but I replaced the stock with a MagPull Stock, need heavy modifications to it, also I put about 3 layers of electrical tape to the buffer tube, then put the stock back on, now there is no wobble.
I really with the AEG Kart M14 was in stock, I hate the stock this gun has.

Pro:
Full Metal, heavy.
Tons of rail space
Very accurate.

Cons:
A bit low on power

"Got this gun for Christmas, and I am pretty pleased. Externals seem to be in good shape. The metal is high quality and has a solid feel. The only parts that are not metal are the stock, the removable handguard pieces, and the pistol grip. This leads to the gun being fairly front heavy, but not so bad that you cant deal with it. Internals are solid, and after a good cleaning and lubing my gun was shooting pretty well. Nothing amazing, but good. This gun will definitely need some upgrading if you want a DMR or something of the sort. But it is a sexy looking gun and pretty easily upgrade-able if you know how to deal with a Version 7 gearbox.

Pros
-Solid construction
-Oh so good looking
-decent performance
-stock tightbore barrell (not the greatest quality though)
-easily customized
-I love the magazine

Cons
-slight stock wobble
-decent performance
-Doesn't always fully cycle if you pull the trigger too fast in Semi-auto (full auto works fine)

All in all the gun isn't amazing
your more paying for the externals than the internals on this gun but thats what I wanted so I'm happy.

"Brief review:

Pros: Awesome looking gun, good trigger response, lots of rail space

Neutral: Insides are so-so, neither good or bad. Moderate rate of fire (I'd say around 10-12 rps).

Cons: Awful thing to take apart. I don't know if all m14s are like this, but I won't be buying another m14, ever. Wobbly stock

Note: the wobbly stock and pistol grip is due to a loose screw, but you have to take apart your gun because the screw is on the interior.
Despite saying "semi auto only" or whatever, it's actually a fully automatic rifle. I play in a forest and intend on painting the silver parts green.

Accuracy is meh too. If you want a long-range accurate gun, you'll have to replace a few parts. I heard that Version 7 gearboxes are especially strong.

"i love this gun
i got it about a week ago and only had a chance to fire it yesterday. after a bit of messing around with the hop up i got it to fire almost perfectly straight on semi

pros: more acurate than most AEG's ive seen, looks awesome, high fps

cons: heavy, a lot of sharp edges (it doesnt sound to bad, but when your running it can cut you if you dont have sleeves)

"Bought this gun but in Silver as my first airsoft gun. I love it but it is EXTREMELY heavy. the other reviews dont give it the full amount of credit it deserves. It is a cheap gun but u get more then your moneys worth. However if you are not used to playing with heavier guns and only use M4s and types of that weight, you may be surprised. I upgraded my spring and motor and added a scope and new battery and a bipod and mine is weighing in around 18lbs. This is a monster compared to the mere 6lbs which is about what a standard airsoft M4 weighs. However with the bipod it is perfect to set on anything, walls, fallen trees, the ground, and the sling helps when moving around. So it is managable and a great gun for the cost, just very heavy.

""the heads of the screws are very soft"
i totally agree with that, man. the screw on my front-sight-post is stripped, so until i can find a replacement im without one for a time.

but, overall i dig this gun. weight's not so bad, length is alright, and accuracy is awesome.

"I got mine yesterday and i have to say, overall I am very pleased with it. The heft and durability of the EBR are amazing. It's very acurate and I can't wait to use it as my sniping platform. That being said...there are a few things I was displeased to see. 1. The latches that lock the stock in place would not come back up. I have to manually pop them back into place. 2. I didn't find this out until I went to put the battery in, but the heads of the screws are very soft. One head was already stripped and I stripped the second one trying to take it out. Kart needs to put sturdier screws into their guns. Maybe I'm the only one who's had this problem, but it's quite an annoyance..
