"It's a great gun, very reliable. Never had any real issues besides the back sling hook broke off. Not a huge deal but it's one of those quality of life things. Also, the fire select no longer works. All the positions are fully automatic. Other than those flaws, great product.

"I’ve had this AK for a year now and I love it so much and the only down grade of the gun would be the grip it is very chunky but it is very easy to replace everything else about the gun is good it has not failed me yet and I hope it never does

"This is one of my most favorite Airsoft rifles, I love to shoot it all the time wether its at the field or just in my back yard. I would definitely recommend this gun to anybody, but please read my pros and cons list below.
pros:
-feels really nice with the all real wood and all real metal (no actual plastic on the gun)
-over 400+ fps
-very accurate
-a very nice look
-24/25 gram bbs
cons:
-quite heavy after playing for a little while (10 pounds to be exact)
-fps is very high and it might not be useable on some fields
-the battery compartment is kind of small

"I've have this AK for about 3 months and put in about 25000 rounds into it. I'll give my honest review and whether it is worth buying. So starting off, this gun has range. It hits about 30 more feet than what I'm used to. I'll just get to the pros and cons
Pros:
Shoots about 150 feet
430 fps
FAST ROF. Even with a 9.6 Ni, its shooting super fast
Not 1 problem since I got it
Beautiful when you first get it
Cons:
The bbs swerve to the left consistently (this is kind of annoying), but it happens in basically all my guns
Although the FPS is /- 3, some bbs are not consistent (I am using .25 evike bbs)
The wood scratches up very easy
So there you have it. I'm sure with heavier bbs, the problems would be better. Despite the cons, I would not go back on my decision buying it. It is super reliable, and does not need to be modified. Whenever my other guns break, I know I have a sweet AK waiting for me. I do have a G&G combat machine, and although I think that gun is great, I would prefer my AK due to added range

"Got mine a few months ago and have had this aeg for a few months now.
pro
-full steel body, no flex or wobble at all
- if you know anything about v3 gearboxes you know they are very tough and simplistic.
-beautiful rifle and functions extremely well.
Great gun!!

"I have had a great experience with this awesome gun. One thing I really liked is the power it gives off

"My friend has this gun and i love it except for the fact that the clip is loose and wobbly and its sort of heavy....
Any ways i was just wondering how to attach a sling to this cause I dont see any where to attach it?

"ok, well i just got this gun about three days ago and its the best gun i have ever had. everything about this gun is perfect but the only thing that i had a problem with was the switch the you turn from safty to full/semi auto. after my first war with the gun i notest that it was geting very loose. then after the second batle it got so loose that i couldnt even change to full auto or safty it just stayed at semi auto. so i put it on the coach and the next time i picked it up the switch just fell off with all the peices. and it had only been about two days that i had the gun... i wasn't able to find all the tiny peices so i had to buy them. but besides that switch the gun is strong acurate heavie and the battery last a long time.
pros:
fps (380-460 with .20g bb's)
accurate (9-10)
full metal
some wooden peices
fast rate of fire (700-800 rds per min)
hi-cap mag (600 rds) (winding tipe)
good sling mounts
pretty good internals (HAS FULL METAL VER. 3 GEAR BOX)
cons:
heavie (ABOUT 9-10 LBS)
the switch gets loose very fast (SWITCH LASTED ABOUT 2 DAYS)
well as you can see its an extremly good gun and yes i would recomend this to a friend and an experianced airsoft player. buy it buy it buy it!!!!!

"I got this gun a week or so ago and it is amazing. It looks and feels so much like the real thing.
Pros:
Accurate
Nice equal weight
Good rof and fps
---------------------
Cons:
Battery is a pain to get in
You have to squeeze the wires in the stock and its a very tight squeeze!

"So if anyone owns this gun you should post and say if its real wood or not, it says it is in the title but if you read the description it states its imitation wood, Im always playing a terrorist in our skirmeshes so Im looking for a cheap ak that looks good and shoots good.

"Come to think of it... Features: "Full Metal Body and Gearbox." Yes, this is true. "100% Marui fully upgradeable gearbox." Uhuh... "Slanted flashhider." Whatt? No... only on the AKM... "Imitation Wood Front Grip and Stock." A main feature on the AKM... "High Torque Motor." It would NEED a HT motor for 460 FPS spring... "AK Side Rail." No... the AK-47 didn't have one of those, but the AKM sure did. "Adjustable Sight and sling hook." Yeah, every AK has that. "Full Metal outer barrel assembly." Yes. MY CONCLUSION: THEY C&P'D THE AKM DESCRIPTION!! WHAT FGTS! LOLOOLOLOLOLOLOL

"You get what you pay for...
I was honestly not at all impressed by this AEG contrary to popular opinion.
Most of the metal is potmetal, some type of zinc amalgam (not steel, not magnetic). This means its much easier to get deep scratches and much easier to break (especially at the stock) but at least it won't rust.
The paintjob is, aesthetically, absolutely awful, if the reciever and barrel assembly weren't painted that ugly ass gray then this gun would appear to be much higher quality and wouldn't look so much like glorified NERF.
The best part about this gun is the wood. Yes it really is wood, not imitation, not plastic. The bright orange is eehhh but hey its only ~$150.
The gearbox is alright, its slow which is nice for beginners but it really is only meant for beginners. The piston is plastic and the motor is slow. An 11.1v would likely shred it, the contacts tarnish quickly even with a 7.4v. If you got this as a first gun do yourself a favor and get a better gun after a few months of enjoying playing.
The battery space is great, __the battery is stored in the rifle stock__. No complaints there.
The hopup is plastic but works just fine.
The hicap mag it comes with seems alright but mine came broken. I had to file it to make the mag lip fit the magwell. The cover for the BB fill hole also broke in two or three uses. The mag's shell is metal, every other part is plastic.
If you are still seriously considering this gun I'll give you advice I wish I had...
Get the other CYMA AKs.
The ones that are made of stamped steel, the VFC clones, a lot of the later model ones, ones with the battery compartments under the dust cover.
This AK is cheap and works, but many of CYMA's other AKs are only $20-50 more expensive and are made MUCH better than this one is.
Seriously, this was my starter gun. I used it 3 times. Each time some bad design flaw made me hate it just a little more. So instead of giving it a fourth try I just bought a new gun instead, which I've enjoyed infinitely more.
I can only see myself giving this gun away to a friend, used it is practically worthless, and once you play for more than a month or two you really see the flaws many new players' reviews don't tell you about. It's bad for anyone but a beginner.
In conclusion, yeah its an okay gun for beginners, but don't get it, buy another, better CYMA AK, many of them are MUCH MUCH better in the long run than this one.

"My ak barely feeds in full auto. Very disappointed. Midcaps work better, but barely. Not impressed.

"Great wood, great performance, but the fire selector is already super loose without even hitting the field yet.
Come on guys, I dont want to be firing a volley and have to go back to semi.
