"I got the silent ops 9” It looks amazing functions amazing although it does have some false advertising it said that it would have 14 mm negative threads for the muzzle but when I went to take the suppressor off it was apart of the whole outer barrel so I was not able to take it off and put on a tracer unit that I spent another 100 dollars on so I was a bit disappointed on that but other than that I was pretty satisfied 7/10

"My third Airsoft rifle, but I'm on a budget so I stumbled onto this outstanding Evike deal under their regular low price. Yeah it's no $300 AEG, but it's far better than the low price and upgradeable. Accurate and Excellent power for 250ft solid shots. Well-made, but not perfect, I'm still happy with it. .... easily equiv to a G&G, mid$$ Lancer or ~$180 AEG M4.

Complaints: 1) Front triangle sight wobbles on the barrel a couple mm's, no way to tighten that I'm aware of.
2) The Handguard also is sloppy on the attachments, wobbles too.
3) Getting the handguard off and on to install the Butterfly 9.6V battery is a SOB! The spring in the barrel "Slipring" is just too STIFF!
4) The Shoulder stock is REALLY sloppy on the Buffer Tube. But I shimmed the metal buffer tube (black) with black electricians tape and now the "Crain" type stock is snugger and still extends effortlessly.
Tip: I put a $12 Picatinny Rail adapter on the "Carry Handle" and mounted a compact Reflex Red Dot sight and a very compact pistol Green Lazer in front on that nice Picatinny adapter. Works damn good!!

"The rifle is amazing 10/10 worth every penny only complaint is the buffer tube is very awkward when trying to fit a battery it takes a lot of adjustment to get it to fit so much so that it has almost ruined one of my lipos

"PROS
It shoots straight and fast (would not want to be on the other end of the muzzle)
Solid
Metal hand guard
Stock is good quality
CONS
The hi-cap mag doesn't feed very well
If your shooting full auto then you switch to semi, the first shots will be full auto then adjust to semi
So overall, the gun itself is really nice, it feels solid (small wobble in the crane stock but its interchangeable so no big deal). And it shoots LAZER BEAMS, from 35 yards its still going at the rate it was when it was at 5 yards. The reason i gave it 4 stars is mostly because of the magazine and the fact that if your switching from full auto to semi, the first couple shots will be full then finally start to shoot semi. (hope you know what i mean). But its really nice, i got the sbr with the 5" barrel and i really like it. Definitely recommend.

"Really quite a great beginner gun. I picked this up for my little brother as it was on sale, and I was amazed on how well it shot for $130. I used the recommended battery, and I picked up some Cybergun Colt licensed mid-caps to run with this rifle.
Pros:
- Great feeling trigger, fast response on semi, and high RPM on auto
- Mostly metal, rigid and tough gun,
- Buttons like selector switch and charging handle are responsive
- Fairly priced
- Roomy and easily accessible battery compartment
Cons:
- Some AEG Stanag M4 magazines do not fit, we tried the KWA PMAGs and they would not fit
- The dust cover does not open up everytime when the charging handle is pulled back
- Rear pop up sight is not very good, however this isn't a huge deal since you can always pick up a red dot/just use the front pop up sight
Overall, I have no regrets purchasing this weapon. It's a great compact beginner gun. Solid build, shoots well, and is easily customizable as it's an M4 platform. Just make sure to purchase Cybergun Stanag magazines, we had no luck with 3 other brands of M4 magazines.

"Two NiMH batteries was helpful. Played a full day and didn't have to change out once.
This kit comes with two mags. The metal high capacity is the only one that we kept. He has the other one, but doesn't use it in the field.
The red dot sight was very helpful and has stood up to his abuse well.
The gun functions well. We were clocking about 350 fps with .20 BB's. Which is fine for us as he mainly gets into CQB environments.
I would advise taking a file and trimming the battery compartment located at the end of the stock. When opened the nun-chuck batteries fit on either side of where the buffer spring would normally be located. The connection to the gun is in the middle. Because the batteries straddle to either side there are some really sharp plastic edges that if you are not careful may cause damage to the insulation of the battery wires. When extending the stock of the weapon the wires will have to travel a little bit.
I have removed the "handle" containing the rear iron sight. There is a rail for mounting equipment below, but it is a really flimsy piece of plastic held on in one spot. Even attaching the red-dot sight and just shaking the gun by the pistol grip caused the sight to move side to side significantly. I was concerned that while moving about he would have knocked off the red dot. I fixed this quickly by attaching a top rail raiser that i had lying around. it is full metal and went the whole length of the top rail. Now the red dot is mounted and it is sturdy as can be.
The hop-up is accessed via the ejection port. My kid gets a kick out of being able to pull the charging handle and it opens the ejection port cover.
As a beginner package I find this to be a great deal. If you are just starting out everything you need (aside from eye protection) is here!
The only reason this is rated a 4 out of 5 is for the sharp plastic in the battery compartment and the low quality top rail.

"I've ran this gun for a year, it gone from being a decent back up to my primary. I would recommend it to a beginner whom wants a not too bad gun to improve upon. If you're looking to learn how to tech, it's a perfect platform. After basic upgrades the gun runs and shoots pretty darn good. I would never say Milsim ready but field ready for sure.
Pros
Higher than low end quality absolutely plastic body, never designed to be a real steel war club but durable.
Rate of fire with supplied batteries was surprisingly good
Internals are a work horse much higher quality than others in this price range
Solid bb groupings out to 100/150 ft great for cqb or descent sized fields. You won't be sniping much that's for sure
Cons
It's a cheap gun period, it has all the inherent problems associated with a gun of this price range.
Only hi cap / flashmags tend work
Aoe correcting required
Leaks air everywhere
I conclusion it's a great platform but it needs work. May be not for a true beginner but someone who knows a week bit and wants to expand.

"This was my first purchase from this site, but after four long days it finally arrived and I am satisfied with this gun. Overall this gun performs great and there are only a couple small issues I can live without.
Pros:
-Good Accuracy.
-Looks and feels Amazing.
-Comes with all the essentials you need to start airsoft.
Cons:
-Selct fire label is a bit messed up, safety is full Auto and auto is safety
- Red dot sight sucks. Putting it on squeezed the rail like a can opener forcing it either to break or for the sight to be loose. And the nut popped off on the sight and it is very difficult to get back on but that's just me.
This is a great gun and don't let the cons convince you otherwise. There are many more things that I love about this gone and a couple irrelevent things I hate about it but this gun is great to start off with, giving you everything you need plus more.

"Only thing that's bad about this gun is the red dot they send you should be a raised red dot or you can't see over the front A site unless you buy I raised mount of it .. good gun for beginner and younger kids . My 8 and 10 year old love the ones I got them for Christmas in 2016

"Its a great gun for the price, has an oem amoeba v2 motor it fires nice and straight, played a game today with the high cap and mid cap and had a blast. The scope that came with it does not work with the gun, taking off the front triangle sight makes it hard to keep the battery holders in place..
by Andrew A. on 04/12/2017
"After a few days I stared to notice that the gun when in semi auto will stop working, and the only way to fix it is to go to full auto, but it gets the jobs done for a begginer airsofter, like me.

"Grear Starter pack and for advanced players but it does require the pruchase of a raiser to put the red dot sight on. It is an outdoor gun meaning most indoor arenas wont allow the gun becuase it shoots at 400FPS.

"Its a perfect gun except for the stock which is easily broken. My first time using this gone my stock broke

"Been using the gun for about a month.
Pros
GREAT Deal for the price
Scope is very nice
Comes with two about 4-hour batteries (if you use semi-auto)
Cons
The high cap it comes with is cheap and breaks quite quickly
You need a riser to use the scope (the Delta Optic gets in the way of the sights)
The gun is made of pretty cheap parts (tried to get rid of original parts and no outer barrel could go with the barrel nut)
Note* Great beginner gun, but not customizable
