"I own this gun with a Systema Hop- up Bucking and a G&P M120 motor and it shoots around 80 yards (no kidding) accuratly. It has around 20 rps with the M120 motor and a 9.6V battery. It's a fantastic gun. My friend's G&P M4 is fully upgraded and I can keep up with him with my SCAR. His is better at range (100 yards) and mine is better at ROF so we make a good team. My SCAR is better than the VFC in my opinion because it's more durable and relaible. My friend has a VFC SCAR and I can outshoot him and he has the long inner barrel on his, I have the CQC.

Pros:
Full Metal
Decently accurate trades
Nice bolt sound
unique battery placement (cheekrest)
extendible and foldable stock
good hop up
good solid selector switch
M4 mags (MAG mid caps rock)
Decent ROF stock with a 9.6V

Cons:
Crappy hop up- fixed with new bucking
SCAR sights suck (took them off and put a red/green dot reflex on it.)
Wire exposed when the stock is folded. (electrical tape makes it better)

Over all- you wont be upset with your purchase of this gun. Echo 1 is deff. jumping up there as a good AEG brand. I've beat TM's and CA's with my SCAR. Play safe and play hard.

"The high fps has nothing to do with the inaccuracy, but buy a tightbore barrel and it will fix the problem.

"Ok, this is an amazing gun. You hear it a lot but it is true on this gun. This outshoots a G&G m16 no problem. I'm dead serious, it has the longest range of any gun on my team. It beats G&G, other echos... I seriously recommend this gun. It comes with some good bonuses. Two mags. One 450 highcap, one 120 midcaps(both metal). Plus an outer barrel extention so you can make a SCAR-L. The trades on this gun are sick and make it look really realistic, and the finish is really nice. The metal is really sturdy and attractive, and the polymer is crazy strong. It is way stronger than abs, and it feels nicer also. The metal/polymer also won't shine up after a lot of use, which is nice. The folding stock is convenient and the battery instulation is a breeze. I was seriously considering some other guns, but when I felt this thing and pulled the charging handle, I had to get this. Range, power(430 fps according to asgi), accuracy, and looks. THis gun has them all. This gun is good for any play. It has the power to out do most expensive brands, and has the quality both inside and out that make this a durable, reliable, quality gun. "for a 9.6 you will have to take the back you will take off the butt stock and insert from the opening into the butt stock to fit.... the stock will not retract all the way easily but it will work... also recommended upgrades for this is a longer inner barrel.... marui hop up.... and possiably a different spring.... but i never had a problem with a spring.... and the longer barrel along with the marui bucking increased my accuracy 10 fold...

"ive shot this gun several times, and i just have to say, wow. its a great gun with a good hefty weight, and its all around goo. the ONLY thing bad about it is the wire that runs from the stock to the receiver has some slack on it, so when you unfold it the wire can catch, and cause you to inspect the stock and damage the wire. other than that, great gun. five stars. also, extremely solid, it feels like it was made by CA.

"First off, I'd like to start by saying that this gun is probably the best airsoft purchase I have ever made. It shoots well over 400 FPS with .20g BBs and while some people on here are complaining about the RoF, what did you expect from the crappy 8.4v battery it came with? Just spend a little bit more money on a small 9.6v and it is beyond amazing.

That being said, I have one problem with the gun (That I think, nay, HOPE is fixable). The problem is that the FPS is so high that my .20g BBs sometimes fly out at a random direction. This only happens with longer distances, but it can still sort of be annoying. Does anybody know of a good upgrade that would get rid of this problem? Thanks a bunch!

Webmaster: A good solution is to use 0.25g bb. 0.20g is too light for 400 fps to be accurate. Maybe even try 0.28.

"i just got this thing today and im like tottaly in love with the gun completely to me it 99% percent awsome the only thing not giving it that extraa percent is unscrewing the orange tip and putting that long barrel on ... it has got to be the hardest thing known to mankind to get that thing off but overall the gun is just so perfectt

"I've had this gun for nearly a month now when i got it, it was beautiful. This isn't full metal, which was a disappointment but has a metal upper reciever which is really great. i tightened everything and its a beast. i've gone through 2000 rounds with it and works fine. A great buy.

"Ok this gun is basically just flat out amazing. The pictures that are posted on evike just don't give it enough justice, because when I opened mine up from the box I was blown away.

-I have one question that I would love for someone that owns this gun to answer. I have a 9.6v that I tried to fit into the battery compartment, with no success. So I am wondering if someone can post a link to the actual 9.6v battery that fits in the battery compartment in the stock. Thank you so much, and this gun is AMAZING. Webmaster: TIP: If you shave a bit off the opening, the stock actually has enough room to fit up to a large brick lipoly. (So all the small type will fit in there.)

"This gun is great!!!!! My friend has one and I helped him pay for a few upgrades (not that it wasn't good stock) like a 190% spring, and a high torque evike.com motor and systema gearbox shims, and this thing shoots just like a real gun!!!!!

It's great!!! Five stars!!!! And for about 300 bucks you can get it, and some kick @$$ upgrades to make it go 550 fps!!! With a decent ROF!!!!!!! I'm getting one next week^_^

"I got a small type 9.6v matrix battery but it doesn't fit. This gun has been amazing.

Pros:
Lots of rails
Big and looks like it could rip your friends tac vest to shreds
Accurate
Hits hard 440 fps
Did I mention that its a big gun?!?!?...

Cons:
Battery goes in the stock(small type)
Heavy with addition items(scopes, lasers, lights, etc.)
Hoppup slide is not realistic... it just slides.

Besides the battery problems this gun is a great buy. I would take this SCAR over DBOYS SCAR any day(Made in USA baby). I have orderd this gun and a Matrix LiPoly ready M4, but the M4 shoots faster because of LiPoly Battery.

Webmaster: Echo1/Matrix are USA importers. to fit a small type 9.6v the stock has enough room to fit it, just need to modify it a little bit for you to slide in. (cutting the plastic a bit off so it has the angle to slide in). (Just like M4/mp5/p90 and many other AEG, you need to do some simple owrk to put a 9.6v)

"i have had this gun 4 bout 3 weeks and all i have 2 say is that THIS GUN IS THE BEST NON CUSTOM ECHO OUT THERE RITE NOW. i suggest using .28 gram bbs because this gun has such hi fps, light bbs will just float up.

hi fps(with .28 mine comes at about 398)
rps is alrite (23)
range is really good especially if u put a tight bore longer barrel on it
good 4 cqb and outdoor play(cqb because stock folds to the right

cons.
sights r crap(just get a red dot. thats wat i did)

with light bbs,(.2,.23 grams) bbs go all over


in the end, this gun is amazing but NOT A FIRST TIME GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I got this gun about 3 weeks ago and let me say it is an excellent gun.

pros:
445 fps(that's what i got it to with a little messing with the hop-up)
fits a 9.6 volt battery(just unscrew the stock put it in and screw it back on)
half metal
works great with .25 for accuracy fps is around 380 with .25
sturdy no lose parts(except the stock is wobbly)
2 mags
good for righties and lefties
extra: fits great with the madbull xm203 long type grenade launcher i have it myself

cons:
wobbly stock
the flash hider is plastic and is glued on so u need to get that mother off and get a new one and/or a silencer
the 450 rnd mag is really long could be bad thing could be a good thing to you
the 100 rnd mag doesn't fit very well u have to make sure its in all the way and here the click noise
sights are off and kinda bad i suggest u buy an aimpoint sight and/or scope

Overall is a great gun if your looking for high fps and something new from m4s and aks.
